The owner is truly one of the most unpleasant people I have come across. Rude, aggressive and used foul language. Please do not support this business. Pretty bang on experience for my first time here…read more I nervously took along my new suit trousers to get let out, but they quickly put me at ease. When I looked uncertain about how much I needed them let out by, they got me to put them on and measured - and they were very much right. On top of that, when I asked for a (what I thought unreasonable) date for them to be ready, they not only said yes straight away, but the delivered. Been wearing the trousers for a few days now and they're working like a charm.

We have been very happy with the service, they manage to get out most of our long haired white cats fur out of the fabric, which he does appreciate. One of the benefits of being a regular. Service is quick and they pack clothes well on hangers and in plastic. Thy recycle both, so we just return them with the next bag of clothes. They have tailoring, alteration and darning facilities on the premises, but we haven't used them so far. #LiveLifeLikeLDN

Every single time the job was completed on time and the quality of work was of a high standard. I feel the service was personal and they really listened to what style I wanted with my jacket. I would continue to use Hidalgo Brothers for my alteration needs; high recommended. As I live in Cardiff and was unable to pick the jacket up after dropping it off - they actually posted my first jacket once it got altered. I received the jacket two weeks later and it was carefully packed in plastic wraps. The work done was perfect - sleeves were perfectly shorted from the shoulders. The second jacket again had sleeves shortened and fabrics removed from the waist. The third jacket had the sleeves lengthened. All were perfectly done and I am very happy.

They did a good job of it, although one pair of trousers had to be done twice (first time they didn't narrow it enough). I asked for a further alteration. She said she would do this. I recieved a text saying my garment was ready for collection. I then heard nothing for weeks and had to chase her for progress. When I finally went to collect the garment Carman claimed she had texted me about the cost of the final repair. I had recieved no such text. I showed her my phone showing I had had no text to this effect and she sort of mumbled. Won't use again the alterations were not terrible but the customer service was peculiar and the price on the high side.

A couple of years ago, I had a jacket 'tailor made' in Malaysia…read more Despite initial measurements and a 'fitting' session before the jacket was put together, almost everything was wrong when I went to collect the jacket. The jacket was too long at the hips, there was no curvature at the chest and waist and the inner lining was not properly stitched, excessive and hung out at the cuff. When I got to London, I showed the jacket to one of the suit shops on or near Saville Row to see if they could correct the jacket for me but I was referred to KS tailoring. The team at KS Tailoring with the tailor in the 'front of house' re-shaped the jacket to my contour, corrected all the defects and salvaged this jacket for me. The reason I looked for KS Tailoring again is that I have lost a few buttons on the sleeves and just wanted to make sure they are at the same locations in Piccadilly. I know they will do a good job and quicky.

I had a couple of items that needed both dry cleaning and alterations, and they handled everything with exceptional care and professionalism. For dry cleaning, I brought in a delicate silk dress that I was nervous about entrusting to just anyone. Whitelyes treated it with the utmost care, and it came back looking absolutely pristine - the colors were vibrant, and the fabric felt incredibly soft. They even managed to get out a stubborn stain that I thought was permanent! The alterations service was equally impressive. I had a pair of trousers that needed to be shortened, and the tailor did a fantastic job. The new hemline was perfect, and the stitching was so precise that it looked like they came that way. I was also amazed at how quickly they completed the alterations; I had expected to wait much longer.
