Englund Brothers ROCK!…read more Two years ago, Jeremy and Eric came out to give me a bid for a simple deck repair. I was immediately impressed by the fact that they replied quickly, arrived on time, were very friendly and professional, came prepared with notepad, tape measure, phone with camera and calculator, and appointment book! They were able to give me a bid and start date very quickly and at a very fair price. Even though they were booked out two months (a sign of a good contractor,) and I was skeptical that they would actually show up when promised (due to past experience with other contractors,) they started work exactly on time and would have finished on time, except... While tearing off the old deck railings, found much dry rot on supporting posts, joists, and water damage in shed under the deck. What started as a quick 3-day job was now going to be a complete tear-down and replacement of deck, stairs and shed! Even though they were busy, they managed to fit me into their schedule so that my family wouldn't be left with a dangerous deck. We ended up using Trex Transend for deck and stairs, Afco aluminum railing, and Trex Rain Escape system to waterproof the shed from the deck. They worked miracles to get the job done as quickly as possible...even with backordered materials, family emergency, and other obstacles thrown their way. I was also amazed at their ability to engineer a very tight space for the deck/shed combo. Even though we had very limited height to work with, they were able to engineer a full height shed while keeping enough slope for the Rain Escape system to work properly. It's been almost two years, and even through severe winters, torrential rains, heavy winds, etc. the Trex Rain Escape has worked flawlessly, the shed is bone dry, and the deck still looks beautiful. One more thing to add to this long review, is that Eric and Jeremy are also great on follow-up and really stand by their workmanship. A few months after the install, Jeremy called just to follow-up. What contractor does that?! Also, recently, I called them to let them know that the Trex fascias had warped (apparently not uncommon for Trex fascia.) Instead of sending me to Trex for a warranty replacement nightmare, Eric quickly installed new Trex fascia at no charge. To sum up... UTTERLY AMAZING!

We contacted Jeff of All Trades back in October 2022 to help move my mom from her home into an…read moreassisted living apartment. Jeff and his helper took great care in moving furniture and boxes from a 2nd floor deck to his truck, and then provided excellent care and help getting everything set up in mom's new apartment. We called Jeff again in March to help start the process of cleaning out my mom's house. Over the course of 5 months, we called Jeff 4 times and he was super helpful in removing various items (both large and small), and having helpers that were very careful. Jeff helped us sort through items that needed to be recycled, including cardboard, electronics, and metal. He also helped us with cleaning out the basement and getting rid of large racks and other heavy boxes. I highly recommend Jeff! He and his crew are prompt, work very quickly and efficiently, and take great care to be sure that everything is done to your satisfaction. We used Jeff a total of 5 times in 10 months, and we are glad to have had his help and expertise.

Not even sure where to start with this company. Called them out in early September for an estimate…read more Got them out here about a week later. Was told no problem, could put in a driveway for us this year. A week later and still hadn't received our estimate. Called them and apparently they didn't have my email address, which i gave to them twice already. So finally got our estimate after two weeks. Now it's almost October, and after receiving a few more estimates from other companies, decide to go with these guys because they're local, not because they're any cheaper. They weren't. Though their rates were very competitive. Called their office and was told someone would get back with me. Never heard from them. Called again a week later. Now it's early October. The girl says she can't guarantee work would be done this year. I informed her that i was told otherwise and unfortunately if that was the case, i would have to go with another company. After a brief hold, she comes back on the phone, tells me they'll be doing work in my area later this week and that they'll be out then but they'll call me before they come. I was pleasantly surprised that they would get it done so quickly. And very happy. Only they didn't show up and didn't call. So again, i call them. The lady who answers the phones said she would have someone call me. A week later and no call. Now it's mid-October. I call again, same thing. Someone will be calling me. By this time, i felt like they weren't interested in doing the job. So i called and hired another company, who guaranteed me they would get me done this year. Not even an hour later, someone was in my yard locating my utilities. When i asked who sent them, they say Herbig. The company who never called me back. So I'm on the phone again. This time, the receptionist gets someone else on the phone with me who explained to me that I've been on the schedule for weeks. That when i called them the first time and gave them the go ahead, they put me on the schedule. Now they were locating utilities because they were about to get started on the job. This was never explained to me by the receptionist. Though my gut was telling me to just hire the other company, i decided to stick with these guys because they were local. And thought well maybe it was just poor communication. The guy told me that the locates were good for two weeks so they had two weeks to finish the job. Well today is two weeks. And i get a call from the company saying they're going to start prepping my driveway on Friday. Although they could not guarantee it would be finished this year. But no worries, i could still drive on the stone. So apparently when i plow my driveway this winter, i can just start moving all the stone around into my yard. And that's not supposed to be a big deal. They wasn't even concerned about that. What a joke!! I understand that weather is a big factor in determining their schedule. But this company screwed me around from the very beginning. They should've been up front about it. Now I'm stuck with no driveway for the winter and will have to end up hiring the company that i wish i would've hired in the first place.

If you want a service that is industrial quality and beyond the petty wanna be services in the area then talk to Dan or Becky and ask them to come give you an estimate on your business class property or even your private residence. He is a down to Earth guy, that presents himself and his service right off the bat as reliable and professional. I know I sound like an advertisement for these guys but that is exactly what I am doing. I was so frustrated with searching for a reliable lawn care service that I could depend on to take care of my property in my absence. A number of "turkeys" that I talked to before, from other services, really just need a good choking. Dan was the first one that I had met that was exactly what you consider a professional to be.

Contacted King and they admitted they had poor seal coat product last year, but it wasn't their problem. Will not be recomending them to anyone and they have lost my buisness in the future.​
