I went with the crawfish etouffee and wow, it was awesome! My husband ordered the gumbo and kept telling me how amazing every bite was. I also ordered a cup of seafood gumbo with rice on the side when it was delivered the rice was in the cup, and there was no spoon when I asked for a spoon. They said the dishwasher is washing them now this was 5 o'clock in the afternoon and you're serving gumbo with no spoons so I ate it with a fork and I couldn't find any seafood in it only okra. Then I ordered crawfish étouffée. They brought me the crawfish étouffée out, which was supposed to be served over rice. There was no rice. It also was supposed to come with coleslaw. There was no coleslaw I asked for the manager she came over and I said I ordered the oysters and they tasted like 2/it. And then I told her you gave me gumbo with no spoon and he said I would have to wait five minutes for a spoon while my gumbo cooled off and I told her there was no rice on the étouffée and she said I'll get you some rice and I said that's not how it works. You put the étouffée on the rice and there's no coleslaw and then she said well we're running out of a lot of things it's 5 o'clock in the afternoon. She said I don't appreciate being cussed at. I said I'm not cussing at you. I'm describing your service and your food. She said well you can just leave. I'll take care of all this so gladly I left so do not eat there. This is the reason why they are closing.

The service was just perfect. The young lady who helped us gave us a tour (first time being there) of everything. The bastions were clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend this establishment if you like family-friendly people and great food!

As soon as we sat down, they brought us warm garlic rolls with marinara--delicious! You can also pay just $0.99 to have a side salad added to your meal, which is a great deal. Our food took an unusually long time to come out, but the waitress was very apologetic. Since we hadn't seen our friends in a while, we honestly didn't mind--just happy to catch up. I ordered the sausage pizzaola , which was absolutely delicious and generously portioned. I could only eat half! My husband got the Shrimp Scallopini, which was listed as being in a marinara sauce, but it came in a butter sauce instead. He went ahead and ate it because we didn't want to wait again. He said it was just okay--not bad, just not what he expected. He didn't mention it to the server, so it's possible it could have been fixed.
