I tell you what. 5 stars. Yep. I'm going all the way for this little truck…read more Richard has it exactly right - UNASSUMING. As they say - you can't judge a food truck by its wheels - well totally anyway - and this one has Wheel[z]. Sure this might not be the flashiest of them all, they might not have a person out on the sidewalk luring you in, but boy oh boy - will you be happy you stopped. Spring Rolls. Yep. They make em fresh while you wait. I've gotten the Tofu and it's thin and slightly crispy. The veggies are crunchy and fresh - and did I mention that these things are HUGE! You get 2 for $4... and you think - "Only two!? I might need to order something else!" BUT you will be surprised as these whoppers sure do fill ya up. Today I went all out and got the Crab Rangoon as well. I was real hungry. WOW. I thought they had me sold at the Spring Rolls... but these little guys were the BEST, I repeat, the BEST I've ever had. They were so creamy and fresh. Not overpowered with onion. Just perfect. Perfect I tell ya! So - next time you're out and about and you see them hidden among the rest, do yourself a favor and treat yo'self!

However, the food they produce is some of the best Food Truck Fare that I've had. My favorite item they have is the Stuffed Chicken Wing. They bone out a chicken wing, leaving just the tip which becomes the handle. The meat of the Wing is then filled with Cellophane Noodles, Ginger, Garlic and Scallions! The whole thing is then fried to a Crispy, Golden Brown. I've never said this about Chicken Wings before, but the result is surprisingly light. YUM!!! There are two per order, so they are great for sharing!

Beachside Oasis - Tables outside on the patio with a million dollar view

BEACH BUM If this…read moreplace was in Chicago it would be packed. First it's located directly on the beach. Secondly the beer prices are cheap. How cheap you ask? You can get a domestic pitcher of beer for only $7 and a craft pitcher for just $9. Now that's a deal. Throw in the million dollar view of Lake Michigan and I am in paradise. The little shack is really cute. They also have fast food for those who are hungry on the beach. I can not review the food because I didn't come here to eat. I was looking for a place to work and saw the building from the high bank. I then had to search out the road that would take me down to this hidden Mecca. My wife informed me not to write a review because once this became public knowledge it would never be the same again. But I have to share this hidden place with my fellow Yelpers. It's just too good to be true. There is a stage but no one was performing when I was here. I asked the girls that work behind the counter and they informed me that there is live music on Wed-Sun possibly starting at 3pm or 6pm. I really can't get mad at them for not knowing the starting time because I am on island time right now. This place reminds me of a Caribbean Island where time and schedules just do not matter. The live music will eventually play. They did have some recorded music playing softly in the background which only added to the charm of the location. I allegedly ordered myself a pitcher of beer, grabbed a beach chair in the sand and started working. I can totally confirm the working and chair part but I'm pleading the 5th on the beer part. I ended up working for 3 hours on the beach. The funny part is that I was heading to the library in town when I was sidetracked like a dog seeing a squirrel. I really wish this place wasn't so far from Chicago because I would totally work here every day. I don't need some stuffy boring coffee shop. The beach is also incredibly clean. It is designated a blue flag beach which means it is being well taken care of. In fact, I witnessed a group of young kids actually cleaning up junk. I just found this amazing. I wish I saw more young people putting down their electronics and picking up a piece of garbage. I applaud you for saving your future World. You give me hope for tomorrow. So if I go missing and dark socially I may be sitting here with a pitcher and a dead battery but I don't care. I've got a million dollar view with a $7 pitcher to keep me cool in the warm summer sun. Cheers! Aloha! Bula! Hang 10! Prost! Dude Where's my Beach Chair! I really don't care because I'm sitting here with a smile in the sand.

I had the Fish Fry entree, battered and fried. You get 2 pieces of fish, choice of potato, I got potato pancakes, coleslaw, cup of soup, bread, tartar sauce, lemon and I asked for applesauce for the potato pancakes. Something that has never happened here before is I had to go back as they forgot tarter sauce, lemon, coleslaw, butter for the bread and applesauce. By having to go back, my husband ate half of his sandwich, saved half for when I got back and we could somewhat eat together, so I never got a picture of his sandwich. The fish fry was good, but I am thinking it would have been better if I would not have had to go back. Next time I will eat it there. I have one piece of fish left, my bread and soup for tomorrow. I am keeping them at a 5 star as this was the first time they made a mistake and their food and service is normally top notch. They are open Mon - Fri 7am - 2pm

It is now consistently bad and VERY sadly, I will not be back. Dumpling soup used to be incredible, now it tastes like new is consistently added to old. Salads were top notch, now they just appear that way on the outside while wilted, rotten lettuce and veggies hide within. The fish sandwich was to-die-for but, is now heavily battered and tasteless on a bun that is always burned. French Dip was also amazing but, again, is now never consistent. So disappointing as this place was once SOOOO GOOD.
