What a neat spot! After an afternoon of skipping around The Arch, we wanted some ice cream before…read moreheading back to the airbnb. This was the closest spot on the way to the airbnb so this was the choice. I do like the name too... have you been naughty or nice? It seemed their main draw was whether you want 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 scoops. The scoops were huge and they seemed reasonably priced. I can't remember exactly but the prices were something like 1 scoop(5 dollars), 2 scoops (8 dollars), 3 (10 dollars), all the way up to 5 scoops (15 dollars). Definitely more reasonable the more scoops you order. Maybe the 5 scoops are for naughty people and naughty people deserve the multi-scoop discount too. Anyway, I went with 2 scoops (Biscoff and Midnight Pleasures(dark chocolate ice cream). I couldn't resist adding honey whipped cream and cherries. Got it all in a waffle bowl. Biscoff - Delicious ice cream. Midnight Pleasures - I love dark chocolate. I prefer it. Not sure how I feel about this ice cream flavor. It was very rich and almost tasted dry(which is odd since it's ice cream). It tasted fine but I doubt I'd go to this flavor again. Honey whipped cream - I'm not sure I've ever had honey whipped cream and now I crave it. It's very specific but when you get that surge of honey... drool. Cherries - Juicy and delicious. Perfect for my bowl. We wanted to go back before we left town but got busy and weren't able to. The standout is definitely that whipped cream. I think it's a must-add for any of their ice cream flavors.

High quality ice cream (even their dairy-free option) and it's probably the best one I've had. They're pretty bold and a little more creative. There is a slight coconut undertone which I don't mind and a lighter texture but doesn't take away from the experience! Service was pretty quick, it wasn't busy when we stopped by. This location is bigger compared to the other ones so there's plenty of seats.

You can taste the real cream and fresh ingredients. We love all the cake ones because they have actual cake pieces inside! The little waffle piece is delicious too. It's great to read their ice cream origin story on their napkins. This location is also a nice and heavenly smelling space, bustling in a good way especially at night. We always make a stop at Jeni's whenever we are in central west end, or even when we're not.

Happiness is a spoonful away…read more Jeni's is one of my favorite ice cream brands, and we are lucky to have on in the area. The step-less entry into the parlor has the offerings displayed largely on the main wall so you can see what flavors are available. The best flavor of the spring is the goat cheese and red cherry. A now discontinued specialty flavor, salted caramel, is the best so if you see those bright orange pints - buy one for me! The prices have gotten a little higher over the years but for specialty flavors and proper proportions, it can be justified if you are in the mood for a sweet treat. Plus that smell of freshly made waffle cones and bowls makes it all worth it. The service is also top-tier. The servers never seem to be annoyed with how many flavors I ask to sample and with every sample they describe the texture and flavor profile of the ice cream. There is a restroom inside the parlor, but you need a code from the servers to get in as it is more of a public space. It is wide enough for a wheelchair, but you may require assistance as the door is a little heavier.

There's a cute little gift shop next door if you're looking for some St. Louis souvenirs, too. Ordering feels a bit chaotic, but it's part of the ambiance. Everyone is friendly and the staff is efficient and seemed to be adequately staffed for the long lines. Don't get intimidated by the chaos outside, they move pretty quick and the custard is so good! As we pulled in, we could see it was pretty busy for a Saturday, and the kids could barely wait to get something cold and sweet. My wife and I ordered malts -- I had peanut butter, and she had chocolate. The kids went with micro cones: Jade chose strawberry, and her friend got vanilla. Everything was delicious, and everyone enjoyed exactly what they ordered. Whenever we're craving something cold, fresh, and satisfying, Ted Drewes is always the best choice for our family. Great treats, great atmosphere, and always worth the stop.
