I have been diligent in dental cleanings and in the daily care of my teeth to avoid the immense anxiety in the event I'd ever need a longer procedure such as a root canal. After my tooth cracked in half, my dentist referred me to another endodontist who can first see me in a month and a half. They then referred me to Dr. Mirman who they only knew because one of their previous employees now works there. I was able to schedule an appointment within just days of the incident. After calling multiple times with any and every question that I could think of so I can completely wrap my head around the procedure, their receptionists were always very friendly, educated, and reassuring. On the day of the appointment the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and comfortable. When Dr. Mirman walked in the room he immediately put me at ease, understanding my needs, and communicated every step of the process and timing. Both he and his assistant worked in lockstep both in ensuring my comfort and in their execution. They care about the patient and their needs and are the epitome of professionalism. When I left the office I was in disbelief that I had spent years worrying about my ability to tolerate such a procedure. I waited to post as I wanted to see my dentist's opinion, given that he's a perfectionist. One month later upon prepping a crown, my dentist heard about my experience, looked at the quality of his work in detail, and promptly said that he's going to be referring Dr. Mirman a lot more of his patients. I *highly* recommend Dr. Mirman and would suggest not hesitating!

Upon arrival I was pleasantly greeted and seated within 5 minutes. The dental assistant was amazing and Dr Mirman was perfect to say the least. The music was comforting and soothing as well as Dr Mirman through the entire root canal. Absolutely one of the best experiences I've had at a dentist or anywhere medically! Thanks Doc !

My experience is limited to Dr. Royzner so I can't personally vouch for the other doctors in this practice but I'm sure that they are similarly competent. Dr. Royzner did two root canals on me in one appointment and did so with the least amount of discomfort and consummate professionalism. The area where the roots attached to my jaw were badly infected and he managed to save both my teeth. My previous endodontist also did two root canals and the price that they quoted me for out of pocket with insurance was $1,000-$1,030 depending upon whether they had to take an X-ray or not. They ended up charging me over $1,800! (No wonder almost 25% of their reviews are one star!) At this practice I had the two root canals and they quoted me an out of pocket cost (with the same dental insurance mind you) of $1,000. That is exactly what they charged. Highly recommended!

I was extremely anxious before my initial appt. Dr Royzner was terrific! He was friendly & calming with a nice bedside manner. We discussed all my medical issues & concerns and he answered all my questions in terms I understood. He provided all the various options he could offer me, in detail, including pricing, so there were NO surprises. He was caring throughout making sure I was continuously comfortable, which I was (thankfully!). I had/have follow up calls and appts to make sure all post procedures and recovery were successful. I was very satisfied and had a great overall experience. I HIGHLY recommended Dr Arthur Royzner.

They proceded with the first half of the root canal. Then, they basically said I shouldn't have it finished because it'll probably need to be taken out anyway... so, just find an oral surgeon. Due to lack of guidance by office personnel (she had recommended some over-the-counter meds for pain but refrained from telling me not to take it before my scheduled appointment which was the next morning!), the initial consultation was deemed "inconclusive". I rescheduled and went to my car. I noticed a swelling and called and asked if I needed antibiotics. I had been tasting a bad bacteria taste as well. They said I didn't need it. By that night, full blown absess (on weekend of course). Had to go to emergency dentist on Monday morning and got prescription. Subsequently, made it back to next consultation and they proceeded to do partial root canal as I noted. Procedure went fine and then was told I shouldn't bother having it finished because I would probably need the tooth taken out anyway. (I overheard the same conversation in the next room.) I just want to help people in my situation. Endodontists are paid to do root canals. Dentists do the fillings, crowns, etc. Oral surgeons extract. They all do their individual procedures and most do it well. Just review all your options and make your decision.

Dr Leff is an amazing Doctor, with class, grace, and he treats all patients in the manner he would treat his own family. I appreciate the excellent medical skills of Dr. Leff, I never have any complications, prolonged pain, my issues are always resolved in a pleasantly perfect manner. I have horrible anxiety with going to see a Dentist. Dr. Leff, and his staff are very calming, reassuring, and highly professional. When Dr. Leff gives me a needle before he does my root canal, I feel no pain. Most of the time, I don't even know he has done my root canals, that is how awesome Dr. Leff is. I appreciate when Dr. Leff works on my kid's teeth, he sits down with them in the waiting area, and have the most fascinating conversations with them about school, academics, and I find him to be absolutely amazing. When anyone asks me , who does great root canals, I tell them to go see Dr. Leff! They do not make Doctors like Dr. Leff anymore. I also want to thank Natalie, Ebony, and the other very kind assistant in the office that works as a team to make sure our insurance covers our procedure. Natalie is wonderful, and Ebony (Dr. Leff's assistant is very sweet)
