Each time, the staff was friendly and very patient with her. They talked to her, got her mind off the instruments, and were very calm and accommodating when she did loose her cool. Aside from my own child, I saw great treatment and care being given to the other children in the office that day. They staff took extra time out of their procedures to explain the motions to the patient and gain their confidence. The office is clean and all of the staff is friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, I will no longer be returning due to repeated issues with the front office recently, specifically with Juanita. During my last visit, I paid out of pocket because the front desk staff couldn't verify my insurance. Later, my insurance did cover the visit, and I had to obtain reimbursement on my own. When my daughter needed treatment, Juanita scheduled it a month out, saying it was because of my "insurance" despite the pain my daughter was in. Over time, my interactions with Juanita have consistently been unpleasant. She is often rude, dismissive, and lacks empathy. At our last visit, she greeted us with a smirk, did not acknowledge us properly, and seemed to recognize us only because of the prior insurance issue. She even made comments about how difficult my insurance was to work with and implied it was somehow my fault. The last conversation I had with her was particularly unprofessional -- she was confrontational, and I had to ask her multiple times to watch her tone. After years of trusting this clinic, it's very disappointing that the actions of one front office staff member have driven us to find care elsewhere. I truly hope management- Paula addresses this behavior so that other families don't experience the same disrespect.

This place is like no other as it reminds me a mini mall but for dentist specialties. I went for a cleaning and x-rays. My appointment was around 7:30am and I was down out in 50 minutes which is not too bad. I wish I knew about the mini-arcade that they have in there, but then again I would be occupied and not want to have my appointment nor head to work. The only downside is they do make you fill out a lot of paperwork and it is on your phone which sometimes it makes it hard to fill out. I wish they have an option to send it through email and fill it on the computer as doing it over the phone can be tricky. Xrays was not too bad, they have this machine that does a 360 xray which was fun, they do the other x-rays which where they stick the film in your mouth and take a snapshot. It is not too bad, but that takes around 20 minutes. Then, they did my teeth cleaning which took around 15 minutes. I spent the other 10 minutes waiting to get my teeth clean and then 5 minutes for the dentist to come in and check out the teeth. Overall, I do not mind coming here for my future visit. Staff was nice and friendly and patient.

The last clinic I went to scared me so badly that I left and never returned. They did not explain anything to me. Just said "you have gum disease" and threw a pamphlet my way advertising the antibacterial injections for the treatment and immediately discussed the money without explaining the issue. I got scared, started crying and left. Mesquite Dental Group was thorough. They have explained everything, every step of the way. They showed me my bone loss on the monitor and explained why its a bad thing and how we will stop it from progressing. They didnt scare me half to death. Upon getting the actual treatment I was terrified, but they kept me calm. Assistants kept asking if I needed a blanket to warm up because of my shaking, they were just concerned I was cold. I would shake my head "no" and by this point the dentist had become well aquainted with me enough to respond "no she's just really scared". The dentist, Dr. Susan George is super sweet, patient and calming. I got five fillings, and a thorough deep cleaning on my teeth and under my gums, and laser treatment to attack the diseased tissue. Michelle Pritchet did the cleaning. Shes amazing and thorough and explained every process to me. I did half yesterday and the other half today. Now I have to keep it maintained with regular visits to the dentist, every three months at first, and then every six months after everything is under control. I will not let anyone else in the world touch my mouth except for the great ladies at Mesquite Dental Group. When the first clinic said I have gum disease, I thought it was a scam or joke because of the lack of meanings and explanation. Turns out it was true. This stuff is no joke. Brush. Floss. Get regular cleanings. My last cleaning was over five years ago. Big mistake. I will have to live with this and maintain it the rest of my life. That being said I finally figured it was time to go in for a cleaning. Dr. Varghese was very understanding and really made me the center of my care. I felt like I was in control of my decision which is rare in healthcare as most people are always trying to push unnecessary tests and procedures. First, he sits down and does a consultation with you and you get to tell him what you want to focus on (cleaning, whitening, cosmetic). He then examined my teeth and told me that I had a cavity. He was able to do my filling right away but I had to come back for my cleaning. But honestly that was fine cause it didn't take that long.
