I asked them to match my color of my suv a bit closer then what they sprayed on it total wrong…read moreshade. They said it would be under their warranty and it would be covered cool. I get there and because its under warranty they were giving me a loaner of theirs but then they tell me I can't use it for work I couldn't take it out of state and I couldn't put very many miles on it. We'll that's just not going to work for someone like me who on average puts between 400-600 miles on a car per day sometimes more so keep in mind that if you need them to warranty anything dont expect to be able to go to work if you work out of state or need to put miles on a car their loaners are bullshit. I will say they did do a good job with the paint ( other then the color matching) and turn around was in a good timely matter but be sure to cheak and make sure your happy with their results before you leave or find someone else 2 stars for my experience with them for that

I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate on my vehicle and ended my appointment with nothing…read more I wasn't given any help on what to do next but yet was told my husband should have taken care of it. I was super disappointed to have taken time off of work to receive no help. Shortly after I called a different auto body shop where they were able to fit me in and help me get the details I need from the insurance company instead of pushing me away. Long story short, I will never go back and definitely won't be recommending Trubilt to anyone.

I was reading a review submitted by a fellow in Madison WI pertaining to MCR. Apparently he is not…read morevery aware of how restoration shops work. I am also in this business and if a customer comes in for an estimate I always tell him it is impossible to give a nything but a loose ball park estimate because once you start taking car apart, you never know what you will find. Rust can be the worst and can be anywhere. You can price a set of (anythings) and by the time the customer gives you the OK for the job, or the money to buy the parts, the price can go up 2 or three times. The customer may say he will accept door handles from one place for $75.00 a set but after seeing them may think they will look the same as a set for $150. Usually, unless the customer is part of the process, like there for 10 minutes every day, he may not be satisfied. Best to demand references and call them or better yet take the trip to see the finished car.

I went in to have some minor paint work done and clear bra applied. I was told that no estimates…read morewere ever given or even ball park estimates. After that, I started by having work done to 2 removeable panels. I was told that work was needed on both sides of the panels. That seemed fair but restoring the panels cost well into the 4 figures. That did not include any metal work. During this time, I had questions about the budget that were never entirely answered. Unfortunately, I agreed to have a few pieces of clear bra applied to the car. (front of hood, some of front bumper and top of worked panels) The total work cost nearly 5 figures. I could not pick up the car as they aren't open on weekends and I live out of state. When I did see the car, there was an obvious flaw on one of the panels and grit underneath one of the clear bra pieces. To me, the work should have cost less by using new panels but was told that was impossible due to the rarity of the vehicle. I found new panels online. I believe the cost of the panels and paint would have been less than the cost of fixing my old ones. Would not go back.
