Craig is an exceptional broker! His honesty restored my trust in the industry, shattered in the past when selling my first house quite a while back. Craig has an incredible eye for any problems in the house whether it's plumbing, leaky windows, old single pane windows, shoddy rehab or general warnings to expect problems in the future based on an old age of the house. With an extensive experience in house renovation and construction, he was able to estimate approximate cost of the repairs, quite unusual for the real estate brokers. Craig worked tirelessly with me for about 3 month because of a tight market and my specific requirements, searching for that illusive "perfect" house. He is very busy so grab him when you can. Highly recommend! read more

...i do not recommend this office/agent, they just want property to get rid of it at all costs, or in other words, sell it as soon as possible, take yours and suggest to the seller that the price should be reduced because ,because...they also persuade to furnish for the period of sale for which of course you have to pay and it does not help at all - and maybe it will be possible to sell furniture as well read more

Craig is an excellent Realtor. He was recommended to me by a family member who had worked with him several times so I knew I was in good hands. I worked with Craig to purchase a condo in Chicago. He knew everything about the area which was helpful. Every interaction with Craig or his office was efficient; he's quick to respond and I felt like he really understood what I was looking for. I appreciated that he gave his honest options on the properties we viewed. There was never any pressure and he sent me lots of relevant places to consider. In a multiple offer situation, he gave me sound advice which led to me securing the place I wanted at a price I was happy with. read more

Craig came highly recommended from a friend to sell my mom's condo. Prior to the sale he did an excellent job explaining the process of the sale and more importantly outlined what he was going to do and when it was going to happen. He communicated atleast once a week to let me know what was going on with the sale whether it be the time it was going to get photographed before being put on MLS, when it was being shown, or how to handle the offers that were made. He really helped to make the sale happen smoothly, but also efficiently since the condo sold quickly. One other important attribute I liked about Craig was his awesome 'bedside manner'. He had a great way to make this business of selling the condo fun and practical. read more

Craig Tinder helped me and my husband with our first home purchase, which is an exciting and stressful process during normal times; but add in the insane housing market and bidding wars caused by the pandemic, and I was also heavily pregnant and due any minute, you could imagine our stress level and anxiety was through the roof. Craig was very patient, reassuring and really listened to our needs as first-time homebuyers throughout the whole journey. I had my doubts if we would be able to find a suitable home before I went into labor.  At one point we were desperate enough to put down an offer on ANY house, even if it was a shack with a tin roof. We appreciate how Craig persisted and guided us to a great home that we ended up very happy with. It was a miracle we actually closed a week before I went into labor. We interviewed several real estate agents before deciding to go with Craig. He stood out as the most responsive and just overall an ethical person. He took the time to educate us on what to look for as first-time homebuyers. He did not push us onto a house just to close the deal, collect his commission and be done with us. He took into account our needs and even predicted needs that we didn't even consider. For example, he mentioned that a particular property we were initially interested in did not have any sidewalk and it would be challenging pushing the stroller around. At the time, I did not care if there were sidewalks or not; I just wanted a nice house. Now that I have somewhat settled into my new home, I'm so grateful he gently steered us towards a different property with sidewalks. He was absolutely right and I am so glad I can push my baby in the stroller safely along the sidewalk and not have to worry about dodging cars along the road when I want to take a walk with my baby. Overall, my husband and I are very glad to have worked with Craig and highly recommend him! read more

I've purchased and sold properties with Craig, and am always pleased! He is a great listener and is not pushy. He also provided great advice which proved to be very helpful in buying our dream home in a multiple-offer situation. He is well respected by his peers. Finally, he doesn't end the relationship at the close, he can be counted on to provide referrals for any home related service for years to come. I highly recommend working with Craig! read more

What a great experience with Craig!--we would recommend him to all first-time home buyers! New to the area, my wife and I greatly appreciated Craig's personal touch and professional experience as he walked us through a home purchase--from beginning our search to closing day! Beginning with helping us to consider what kind of home we wanted, Craig patiently answered all of our "newbie" questions. We never felt like we were imposing on him; Craig made himself always-available to us personally, by email, and by text. Continuing past our home's closing, Craig's professional connections to contractors have helped us to update our home. We're grateful to have had Craig skillfully and wisely guide us through a complicated process. read more

My husband and I worked with Craig to sell our home in Park Ridge. We relocated out of state prior to our house hitting the market, so Craig took care of everything. I highly recommend Craig Tinder!! I had to sell my home during one of the toughest times in my life. Craig and his team were there to help me through, every step of the way. They did an incredible job with photos and marketing and sold my house in about a week. Thanks so much for your hard work Update:I also used Craig to purchase my next home, and he really delivered amazing service once again! I work a lot, so I have a limited time to see homes for sale. Craig would meet me at places late at night, and even in the morning before 7 am. He has a genuine desire to help his clients, and I appreciate all his work and expertise! read more

Craig was absolutely amazing throughout the entire home sale. I lived on a busy street so he made sure to market the house appropriately and got me an offer within 24 hours of being on the market. He also negotiated to make sure I got almost asking price when the buyer low balled me. Not only that but he went above and beyond when I was out of town to take care of my home and even my flowers. He will not steer you wrong! read more

As first time home buyers, I felt like I had my guard up when it came to working with realtors in order to avoid being mislead/taken advantage of/etc. I was so skeptical when we decided to finally choose Craig as our realtor, after going on many home tours on our own with no luck. When my husband and I first sat down with Craig, he immediately put me at ease by getting to know us, and then discussing his background in social work, as he conveyed his genuine interest in working closely with others and meeting their expectations. As particular as I was, I felt Craig was very patient during our home search. He was in no way pushy and gave us plenty of insight to see a home for what it could be. Naturally, he had plenty of home improvement resources/contacts he enthusiastically suggested. Craig is professional and quick to respond. He went out of his way one night after 8:30 PM to show us the home that we eventually would purchase. Craig is simply a driven, understanding, and knowledgeable individual, who is also super down-to-earth. I am so pleased to have had him lead the way to our first home. Thank you for all you do, Craig! read more

Craig was a great realtor for those looking to buy in Chicagoland. We didn't know too much about the area; He was very knowledgable of the neighborhood, school districts, traffic patterns etc. We were able to see a variety of homes in a short period of time (per request) and he was always willing to accommodate. It was great to have a realtor that cared about our future in the home, not just the immediate sale. We would highly recommend him for his great interpersonal skills, city knowledge, connections and negotiation skills. A+ Realtor! read more

My sisters and I recently needed to sell our mother's home after she passed away. It was a very difficult and stressful time for us. We started to research realtors and found that Craig had good reviews. We were impressed with his record and credentials. After interviewing a few realtors we decided to go with Craig. He has an easy mild manor that made it very easy to work with. We gave him a goal to sell our home before the end of year. He cane through for us and was so efficient and helpful. We had weekly calls and served us very well even when our stress levels were high. We all were happy with the results He got the job done and always with respect. I found that Craig was much more than that and the experience that I had with him was first rate. Craig did an excellent job in helping my wife and I find our home. He started by showing us several styles of homes so we could understand and figure out what we wanted. He did not rush or push us to settle on a home we didn't love and was very supportive in our search. Once we found our home Craig was willing to see it an extra time before putting in the offer. He helped us to negotiate aggressively and help us get the home for 5% under the asking price. He understood the value of the home and wanted to make sure we didn't pay more than it was worth. Since moving in, Craig has recommended many people to help make the new house feel like our home (Fence company, window company, sprinkler company, ..., etc). Craig is not only a great Realtor but and excellent contact when it comes to making home improvements. We definitely will recommend him to all of our friends and family looking to buy/sell their home. read more

Once we had the property listed, I didn't have to worry about anything. Craig took the wheel and provided updates even if I didn't request them. He was very transparent about feedback and I found his honesty refreshing. His experience started to show when handling multiple offers. Craig has been my realtor for 13 years helping my purchase two properties and sell two in the Glenview and Wilmette areas. He is very knowledgeable about what is going on under the surface of the rental and real estate markets. He is always prompt to respond, professional and polite. My most recent sale had multiple issues on the buyer's end that he was able to help navigate to help us get to closing. We were so relieved when we closed and a lot of that had to do with the time and effort Craig put in on our behalf. read more

We would recommend Craig in a heartbeat! As out of state sellers, we were looking for an organized and professional realtor. Being out of state, we knew we wanted to feel comfortable with our realtor and knew communication would be key. There are three qualities you need in your Realtor: intelligence, integrity, and interpersonal skills. They have to be smart -- Craig has a Master's degree from the University of Chicago. They have to be honest -- Craig always has my best interest at heart. And they have to be good with people -- Craig is an excellent negotiator yet isn't pushy -- he's great with people and feels situations out very well. Bottom line, I trust working with Craig -- and I will continue to refer my friends and clients to him. I hired Craig to sell my house in Park Ridge based on a referral from my real estate attorney. His staging advice, data-driven analysis, and advertising resulted in five offers above asking price within three days of listing and we closed within 30 days. I am a real estate attorney and I have worked with a great number of real estate brokers. I've seen them all - from good to bad, top to bottom. In my opinion, Craig Tinder is among the best! Real estate transactions require a personal touch. Craig Tinder lives up to those requirements and then some. From beginning to end, Craig stays on top of the deal. He cares about his clients and many remain clients for multiple transactions. Craig is diligent, ethical, and honest. I've seen him walk away from a deal when the commission is good for him but the deal is bad for the client. He is everything a buyer or seller should want in an agent. Top notch! read more

Craig was the perfect realtor for my partner and me. Buying our house and selling our townhouse ended up taking a lot longer than we'd planned due to health setbacks after we closed on the new place and delays in renovations before we could list and move out of the old place. Craig was incredibly patient from the start, carefully explained each step of the process, was never pushy, and always checked in to make sure we were satisfied with our decisions...which is no easy feat because my partner and I tend to be overly cautious about everything. We were especially grateful to have Craig on our side when it came to bidding, negotiating, and closing. He's incredibly knowledgeable about the market, prices, and what buyers and sellers are looking for. We ended up selling our townhouse just two days after Craig listed it! We're so happy we chose Craig! We recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell - and even more so if you're apprehensive because he'll be your advocate and get you through it. read more
