Our family dined here this past Saturday as we had a hankering for seafood. Our server did an amazing job! While it wasn't exactly what we're used to in Jacksonville it was still pretty solid. I like a lot of spice so it didn't deliver in that area but it was still tasty and there was plenty of flavor. Good oysters. We went to another oyster bar first and it had stopped serving oysters because they'd been sued, so we came here. $23 a dozen is a bit high, but they were well prepared and tasted good. Oysters and a vodka martini!! Yum yum. . I'll be back. Oh and the la boil was good too. read more

We went here on Father's Day on a whim and were very happy we did. There were 5 of us and not one had bad food of any kind. We all got some sort of boil and they were delicious. This is the best of the three Crafty Crab locations. It is spacious and the service from the waitstaff is pretty consistent. I enjoy the head on shrimp and the crab legs with the Boom sauce. I have had bad luck with ordering blue crab at these restaurants. This location in particular is mostly crowded on the evenings and weekends, so if you're going then, go early. read more

I love it here. When I am craving seafood I come here all the time. Today I have the autumn special and it comes with snow crab, corn on the cob, potatoes, shrimp, broccoli, and eggs. It also comes with french fries, hush puppies, and onion rings. read more

Service: I went last night with my kids because Craftys was a favorite, but this location was not pleasant. We waited 20 minutes before I got up to let the hostess know no one served us, she went and attempted to get our waiter but I heard him tell her "I'm too busy to serve them" and he refused to serve us and service other tables. I asked to speak with the manager who then got me another server. Food: the blue crabs were not fresh! They were old and you can tell by the texture of the meat. I'm from south FL so I'm use to fresh water seafood. Ambiance: they sat us in the back so no one knew we were even in the back. No discounts on the horrible experience, but the manager tried to appease us with old dried hush puppies. I will never go back to this location again, frankly probably any location in Tallahassee. The food was good and service was just okay. This location is much bigger than the Appalachee location and much nicer in my opinion. My only issue was the there was a very long wait and they were not busy at all. I will just attribute that too them still working out the kinks at this new location. It's seafood so yes it can be pricy but you get your money's worth in my opinion. read more

There's a craft crab back at home in texas. So I was excited to eat it thinking it would be similar. But This one here was low on food quality. The seasoning for the seafood boils was WATERY! Literally watery. The crawfish tasted like it came straight out the bag. Terrible day to eat there. Hopefully it's better days. read more

I like to order the fried shrimp basket with potatoes. The shrimp is the best I've eaten in Tallahassee, However I would prefer the potatoes cooked softer. They come deep inside a plastic bag with your choice of seasoning (I chose buttery garlic). The seasoning doesn't seem to permeate the potatoes; I guess it's just for dipping. Love me some Crafty Crab and I don't even like seafood. Didn't slow my daughter and I down though in ordering a boil of sides with a pound of sausage. Enjoying a boil is not just eating it's the whole event. Similar to Church. We've eaten at two and the service was excellent at both. I prefer the atmosphere at N Monroe but won't hold back from eating at new truck route location. (If you know, you know) Salad was fresh with real lettuce not shrubbery and hush puppies were hot and tasty. Makes me want to get back to Tybee Island or NOLA. read more

I ordered food from here off of Uber Eats and we spent over $150 and we had an entire shrimp basket missing and our clams were missing I'm extremely upset with our service I know we ordered a little bit before they closed but that doesn't mean just throw anything into the bag and just let it go because you don't want to make it. If y'all were missing the item it's super easy just to call our number and let us know and not wait an hour for our food just for us to be missing things. read more
