Jeff is personable, knowledgeable and detail oriented about the work to be done. We trusted Jeff and his wonderful crew to have access to our new home before we moved in. They took great care to respect our home and belongings. The work, which involved a great deal of carpentry work around all of our windows was done to perfection. As well, they installed a beautiful backsplash in the kitchen, installed four fans and installed a new closet system in the master closet. All done and completed in a timely manner. We will be using Advanced Handyman in the future for additional projects we have. Oh, did I mention how fairly the job was priced out? In the end there were no hidden or suprise extra costs. We had quite a job spec'd out and while the major work was completed, there were problems. The project was estimated to take 10 days. It took 22 days. It was claimed the delay was because of rain, however, the rain was only a few days out of that 22 so we are not clear as to why the job took as long as it did. Things became concerning for us when we didn't hear from Jeff much during the process (not one picture was sent) and were told each weekend that the project was not done and not to come out to the house. Then we received a phone call that our builder sprayed something in the walls and that he to scrape it all out. It was the foam insulation that we paid extra for. Shouldn't he have known what it was? By now we are getting worried. When we finally did make it to the house, we found it a complete mess (to be fair we were warned). At first glance and into the next day, the work at least (minus the mess) seemed adequate until we began looking more closely. It started to become upsetting. The drywall, trim, and painting work was absolutely terrible and we are now having to hire someone to fix it. A $200 cloth blind was ruined with a few paint drips yet there was no concern and we were told it was okay because you can't see it. This is an unacceptable response. On a positive, the framing and relocation of the window seem to be okay. Other things were incomplete such as threshold for garage door and seals on an exterior door were not installed. Key we left him was left outside which was not cleared with us. Neighbors observed them spending more time sitting outside than working. Overall, this was not the best work we've seen. Jeff is a nice person who has general construction knowledge, just not extensive knowledge. Finishing work is seriously lacking in quality and there seemed to be little concern for 100% customer satisfaction. There is a lack of professionalism at times. Should you do decide to go with this contractor, make sure the quote is highly itemized as to exactly what will and will not be done.

I had a very special need to have large screens with a marine grade zipper installed on my Lanai to allow access to clean and polish my Fenetex Vinyl Rolldown porch enclosures. On my first visit with Marshall who is their lead technician at Luke's Porch and Window Screening Marshall was very prompt and courteous and came up with the perfect solution for my needs. I wanted to have 2 custom screens about 12ft x 6ft fabricated with about a 20ft marine grade zipper that allows access to my Fenetex Vinyl Rolldown Porch Enclosures. He had them fabricated very quickly and 2 weeks later meticulously installed them and carefully cleaned and polished my clear vinyl rolldown enclosure. The vinyl enclosure allows our Lanai to convert from a fresh air screened Lanai to a 4 season space when we choose. I had a fantastic experience with Marshall and he was very prompt and courteous and very detailed in his work. You rarely find someone as dedicated to their job as Marshall is! We agreed on a plan utilizing SunTex materials. He explicitly stated that if the material was in stock, he would perform the installation on August 20, 202, but would let us know. Agreement was sent via email. As the date approached, I received zero communication or confirmation from the company. On August 18, just three days before the scheduled job, I proactively reached out to ask if he was still coming. Only then did Noal inform me that the material was out of stock and ordering it could take up to six weeks. It was highly disappointing that they waited until I initiated contact to check their inventory or notify me of a month-long delay. The situation became more concerning over the next 24 hours. The day before the job was supposed to happen, Noal texted stating he might have found a single roll of material to do the job after all. Because of the back-and-forth, I asked him some question and to clarify the name of the secondary screening product we had discussed. When I looked up the product name he gave me, it was completely unlisted on their company website. When I questioned why the product wasn't on their official site, he claimed the website simply hadn't been updated. However, immediately after being challenged on the product's validity, he abruptly texted telling us it would be best if we "used another company" and canceled the job entirely. Asking a business for standard product verification and scheduling updates should never result in an unprofessional, defensive cancellation. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you expect transparency, reliability, and clear communication for your home projects when dealing with Noal. Disappointed, as I expected better from the reviews!
