The Sashimi is always fresh and I've never had a bad bite of fish--unlike other restaurants in town--and the rolls are always consistent from one visit to the next--again, unlike most other restaurants. The ambience and decor are not up to date and needs some work but in this case the best places are the hidden gems that place the focus on the food rather than just having a pretty looking decor. In my most honest and humble opinion, this place is the best in the Springfield MO area. Hands down.

We did have a delay with one of our dishes (waited over 30 minutes), but the manager noticed the issue right away, took responsibility, and handled it really well. They even offered us complimentary spring rolls, which I really appreciated. That kind of attentiveness and care makes a big difference. The food was solid and enjoyable--of course, you can't compare it to bigger cities, but for Springfield, this is definitely a great find. They also have a robot that helps deliver food, which was such a fun and unique touch. I'm here for work, traveling from out of state, and we actually ended up coming back four days in a row--which probably says everything. When I come with 2 other people the waiters are on top of it with service but if it's me alone I hardly even see a waiter. They're chasing tippssss imo. This is just a personal opinion that doesn't contribute to my stars because I know some people find it really cool but the robot is creepy and what if someone needs to ask something when the drinks come? Can't ask a robot and then they have to wait 20+ minutes for a waiter to come by.
