Low cost vaccinations and a super caring, efficient staff…read more My cat needed a rabies shot and so I asked my vet about the cost. $50 office visit plus $55 for the vaccine. Yikes. Searching online, I found the Spay and Neuter Project. Their fee (posted on the website): $10 office visit plus $20 for the vaccine. However, they only offer vaccinations on Saturday between 10am and 1:30pm and its first come first served. They put out a clipboard where people sign in. And they are very efficient about getting through the list. I was #5 and my wait time was 30 minutes. The administration of the shot was done with the utmost care. My cat would not come out of her carrier so the two staff unscrewed and lifted off the top to inject her. The entire time they were petting her and speaking softly to calm her down. And best of all, because I had my cat's original paperwork from the Humane Shelter, they said I could get the 3 year rabies vaccine, also $20.

Many visits to the ER (not this clinic) who pretty much had to fix her back up. None of the staff in the clinic could hold my cats down for check ups (my previous vet had no issues) so I suspect they had a harder time holding them down properly for shots and bloodwork in the back. Also they keep records on paper and no computers... many room for error and loss of information...

A super knowledgeable and caring individual that you can trust your furry children with. Since we have 4 canines vet bills can be expensive for us but have found them to be reasonable and it does not feel like you are being up charged for unnecessary things. Don't be put off by the surroundings, they had winter water damage inside just like many in Bend did this year. Update: while Dr. Maas still owns Companion but has handed over daily running over to Dr. Post. We like Dr.Post very much and find that it is much easier to get an appointment here rather than at Bend Vet. Clinic, which is extremely busy.

My husband and I have been seeking a solid pet sitting service for the last 4 years in Bend. There have been too many pet sitting businesses in Bend that have provided us with poor service, are unavailable, they nickle and dime us, or are unable to tailor a service to our needs. Risa & Bob/ Mountain Pine Pet Care were able to meet all of our needs and give each of our four legged children with the love and attention they need while we are gone. We also love that they keep our home safe and secure while we are away. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you Risa & Bob!

I cannot say enough nice things about this pet hospital. My cat needed his anal glands expressed…read more I'm new to the area so I don't have a vet yet. Even though it wasn't urgent, my little guy was in discomfort and they got me in with a vet tech the very next day. I appreciated that they cared and made it a priority. When I arrived, I was greeted right away. They asked about Bagheera (my kitty) and brought him a calming pheromone blanket to cover his cat carrier while we waited. Once we were brought to the exam room, the employee laid out some cat treats for Bagheera and let him get settled. Everybody genuinely wanted him to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. There was even a pheromone plug-in in the exam room. After a short wait, Erin and another vet tech arrived to express his glands. I've seen uneasy videos of this procedure, and he's had it done once before. It wasn't anything like that during this visit. One tech held him snug while the other was gentle and efficient. And it was done! Bagheera didn't make a peep. Everybody who interacted with me seemed like a sincere animal lover. I could tell everyone cared and enjoyed what they do. I will definitely be coming back for any future vet needs. They even treat reptiles in addition to cats and dogs. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Baggy!

At our last wellness visit (early in the day at 8:30 a.m.), we waited 30 minutes before seeing anyone and another 30 minutes for a simple blood draw. Our senior cat was brought back to the room stressed, wet around the neck, bandages on both feet and no explanation what happened - a first for a wellness check. We've decided to take our cats elsewhere.
