We did make a reservation because of the holiday timeframe. The waver was super easy it was nice to not have a lot of people inside while we were there. After they went over their safety procedures and how to throw there and some hints and tricks. Jackie was so nice and super helpful, I made a bullseye, and the staff there cheered when I got it. It was a great place to come as adults and have fun. Not sure how I would feel having children in there though with all the adults. Not sure if they had kid-friendly times where they had different options for what they could throw and if they had the bar open during that time frame. Overall as adults that went here, it was a great experience.

Brad was really cool. We paid up and he showed us how to throw (neither of us had done it before). He quickly went over the rules which are simple and common sense such as "don't throw axes at other people", gave us a demonstration and then watched us throw a few before walking away encouraging us to have a good time. The boards are marked so that you can record scores and a sheet posted of some games you can play to make it interesting. We played a couple games but honestly had the most fun just throwing and trying to get it as close to the bullseye as possible. This was great way to spend an hour and would definitely recommend if you're visiting here. Feel free to bring a 4 pack over from the nearby brewery across the way.

They allow you to bring in food and beverage and will put your beer on ice for you. This is probably a highly profitable business because there is such low overhead. The bays are on a reserved basis with a convenient online reservation system. The target is approximately 12 feet from the toe line and you throw, essentially a hatchet, overhanded towards the target. After a few practice runs, you can then play competitive games (ala darts) and even in teams. There is a waiver involved and a short educational "how-to" for technique and then you are on your own. Safety rules, only one "ax" out at a time. I took my 80 year old mother-in-law, my wife and three college aged sons and we had a blast. The restaurant across the courtyard will deliver and the brewery next to the restaurant will sell beer you can bring over if you wish. We went on a Saturday afternoon and had a fun time. I say this is profitable because it is a few 2X6 boards nailed alongside one another for the target to be painted on and the axes are re-usable like a putter at a miniature golf course. After the short safety and training speech, it is all self service.

The coaches there were great at actually taking the time to invest in teaching you how to throw, and they were very fun and enthusiastic with everyone in attendance. We were greeted at the front desk with the same friendliness and enthusiasm. The boards here were also so much better than any other I've attended. They weren't all beat up, allowing us to land more throws. I'd have to say they had my favorite axes too. They also have multiple different sizes of axes for you to try. My favorite part was that they had different types of scoring games for us to try, rather than the same scoring setup over and over. They also awarded the winner with Mardi gras beads as a trophy for each game. I would choose this place every time from this point toward, when going axe throwing. You won't regret it!

I wouldn't say it was crowded, but most all lane were being used. They sell water, soda and beer. I'm not really sure what the food policy is as I didn't see anyone have any.
