Bounced us between three different artists before deciding on which would do our tattoo. It felt like they were rushing us and were perturbed when I asked for them to adjust the stencil (they didn't listen the first time). This was my first tattoo and it should've been very special but it ended up being really upsetting. THEY MADE OUR TATTOOS DIFFERENT SIZES. Completely unprofessional. Not only is mine bigger than it should be, but the line work is somewhat shoddy. I wouldn't go to this shop again, and definitely not that artist (Yana Patel).

I reached out the next day, expressing my disappointment and frustration only to be ignored and have my account restricted. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable considering it is NOT the clients job to ask the artist if the artist needs a break. The client cannot tell or know your limits just like the artist cannot tell the clients. The tattoos took 9 hours and only after 7 hours in, did i ask about when she thought it would be done. I was extremely happy with my experience during my time there, but this behavior after is not okay. To have your feelings is one thing, but to be passive aggressive online where not only myself but 20k people will see is absurd. Attached are her Instagram posts and my message after seeing them.

Even though the Dallas Cowboys are testing my patience right now, they're still my team. I made sure this tattoo reflected who I am--someone who's been a diehard Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan since childhood. I also added a tribute to DJ Screw, representing the music that shaped me over the years. Finally, I included the Texas State Capitol building to symbolize Austin, my home away from home. While I miss DFW, growing up means moving on. I've kept in touch with Juan over the years, ever since a friend introduced us. He did my first piece in memory of my mother before she passed, and I've trusted him ever since. Juan owns the shop, and when you walk in, you're welcomed by a chill vibe: a pool table, a couch, a TV, and music setting the tone for good vibes. The shop has three separate studios where they offer piercings, tattoos, and even tattoo removal. Parking in front of the building can be tight, but there's extra parking across the street near the Domino's Pizza. Juan is an incredible artist, and you can't go wrong choosing him for your ink therapy. He maintains a clean, professional setup needles are always sealed and properly disposed of in biohazard containers after each session. I booked my appointment a couple of months in advance, and he was flexible with my schedule since I was traveling in from Austin. He kept me updated all the way up to the day of the appointment, making the whole experience smooth and easy.

All I wanted was to get the wings fixed a little bit but I'm also upset about how the top of the star turned out. Also, I know it was not just service animals in there because they didn't even have vest and there has been more than one dog. I've seen in there before.
