My family and I were on vacation in the Destin area for Thanksgiving so of course we hit some of the stores for sales. What I liked about this location is that one of the workers made sure to tell me how to get an extra percentage off what I was buying by using the Nike app, which I would not have done. They actually had a really good selection of items on sale . My oldest son was able to get three nice shirts for $21. We will probably come back here when we visit the area again.

Tried it on and it fit well, so even for a pricey item, I decided to buy it for myself. Waited in line for a while and finally got to the counter. The gal rang me up and then announced my total. I then said to her, "it's 30% off of that total". She asked me where I found it and went over to that table. After she came back she said that that only applied to the shorts, and not everything on the table. I said, nevermind then, and left. Buyer beware.

This time, my grandparents came with me. my grandmother went in and is older. I have never had this happen, but we went in (me, mom, and grandmother) and one of the employees (also older) followed us around and was sighing everytime we've looked at something. I was having a hard time making up my mind (not usually a thing for me) and this lady was very obviously upset. She was not talking to us, the other two ladies were. At one point, I was standing by a bag (none of my family had touched) and she came by a let a huge sigh out and stuffed the strap back into the bag. My family and I left as were tired of this lady's attitude. I had never been so upset at this store, as I genuinely love the ladies that work there. I decided I did want a purse so I did go back inside and buy one, I requested a different lady help me out (she did) and ONLY as I bought a bag and was leaving, the older woman who was rude spoke to me. it was also my 21st birthday, which was obviou as I had a sash. My family was on vacation and spent the afternoon shopping, I stopped in to buy a new pair of sandals for a girls trip to Hawaii. There were 4 associates working and 3 customers in the store when I walked in. I was not greeted or welcomed. I was not told about and sales or any sizes that might not be in stock. However I heard two associates telling two other women this. As I browsed, I noticed quickly that other women came in after me and were greeted and helped. They talked about their other pieces etc. Apparently in order to be helped on this store you have to appear that you are dripping in money. I guess my money doesn't spend like the other women in the store. Just because I don't flaunt it or ooze wealth and privilege doesn't mean I deserve to be ignored either by 4 unwilling people. I tried to get one person to help me and she flat walked away from me. It's rare for me to get upset but I was humiliated by elitist and uppity sales associates from Tory Burch. As I walked, the only male working asked if I found everything I was looking for. "Yup I did but no one would help me." And I walked out as freely spent my money elsewhere. I told this story to another retailer who so kind a few stores down and she had been working there for TWO MONTHS. She said she has heard this so many times she can't count them. That is outrageous and disgusting. Be better. Having money or name brand things doesn't make you better, kind, or classy.
