First time trying Crabbae and I wasn't really a fan. The wait time was long. I waited 45 min for an order of crab legs And salmon bites with fries. The salmon was under seasoned and the glaze was waaaay too sweet it taste like pure honey and sugar. The fries were not the best. As for the crabs the seasoning was just not it. The butter tasted really oily. Although the food photographs well it just doesn't taste as good as it looks. read more

I placed an order more than 24 hours before the expected delivery and they canceled my order at the last minute. Leaving me zero options that's absolutely unacceptable! If you can't handle the volume of orders that should be addressed early enough so that customers aren't stuck with false hope. Definitely would not recommend this place based on their unprofessional service. So unfortunate and I expected more I am so disappointment!!!! read more

Crab fries and jerk wings are amazing. Service sucks. Can't get anyone on the phone and when you do and place your order, they say it will be ready in 20 minutes. 34 minutes pass and still not ready. Then, order is wrong on top of that. They have the potential to be great but not there yet. read more

The girl who answers the phone is rude as hell. I wanted to test this place out because of their IG but I've changed my mind. Please hire people with proper phone etiquette! ‍ read more

Ordered here for a company luncheon and everyone absolutely loved everything we ate. We ordered a number of different items for our team and everything was fresh, hot and tasty. The wings, oxtails and shrimp were a real treat. I will definitely be ordering from here again. read more

This restaurant has no customer service and i am waiting two minrhs for a refund i still dont have.

We were in the area so we decided to stop by and place an order. There is no where to sit in this establishment so I would call to place an order, place order online or you could walk inside to place your order. We placed our order and waited in the car. We ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls, fried shrimp order of 20 shrimp!, and I ordered the two crab cluster meal! (Literally lol' it came with broccoli, corn on the cob, potatoe and a side of rice. I also ordered the peach cobbler because I am fat on the inside lol!! The food was delicious and well seasoned. The shrimp were seasoned to perfection and the food was fresh and made to order. I had no complaints. The crab clusters were coming out the shell and well seasoned. No complaints. A little pricey but it was definitely worth the try and the food was worthid to us. We would def recommend and will be back! Customer service was great as well! The ladies were sweet in there and helpful. They also provided you with lots of condiments like butter, seasoning, etc read more

I really, really love this place. The service is excellent. I've ordered catering twice and the prices are reasonable, the portions are big, the communication is fast but most importantly the food is delicious. I don't have pics to post because everyone starts digging in as soon as I put it down. I recommend this place to everyone. read more

Completely dissatisfied I waited 2 hours for my food . Called multiple times they forgot to tell me that they didn't have mashed potatoes and gave me Mac n cheese this place needs to step it up I'm saddened that I had to make this bad review I wanted to see them do well smh read more

My wife and I had ordered from this restaurant a little over a week ago and since then we've probably ordered from there a half dozen more times. Excellent food! Flavorful, consistent, large portions, and creative food choices. The egg rolls, fried corn, and jumbo shrimp are my personal favorites. What I don't think gets enough attention in addition to the food are the homemade pastries. They are by themselves enough of a reason to check this place out. They are extremely busy because they are good at what they do so order ahead of time. read more

I should have READ the reviews before driving over 59 miles from NJTP Exit 5 to Kenilworth... 1st is there isn't any off street parking to ensure one's safety especially women meeting up for Girls Night (oh, I had my mace). 2nd this restaurant lacks transparency, no where does it state on their website to BYOB! Moreso is a ridiculous charge of $10 Cork Fee for bringing your own bottle!; what if it's a TWISTED cap! 3rd Trying to enjoy a1st time experience was horrific with the servers & staff bumping into the table in the walk area. Why is there only one fork wrapped in a napkin... Where's the knife & spoon? And, why are glasses setup on the table collecting dust; we had to ASK for clean glasses. So, there's a DJ booth setup with NO DJ but the music is too load for the size of the restaurant. The waitress was pleasant in the beginning; however, her attitude changed when the "NJ Tax & NJ Sales Tax" was questioned! I got the most ridiculous answer from their manager claiming NJ sales tax is 9.75 which is wrong & unlawful! 4thWe got charged 18% gratuity for a party of 2... The waitress could have received additional but her tone shifted terribly at the end by running to the counter as if I was going to walk out without finalizing my bill. Her behavior was alarming; given customers were entering and standing at the exact location, exit & an entrance to shout "pay right here" having been a 1st timer and now LAST! 5th To allow hookah in a restaurant where customers are eating is unhealthy and distasteful! Needless to say, this was a horrible New Year's Eve experience and a waste of TIME, gas, tolls & $... the food was served luke warm... I won't ever go back because of how I was treated! Trust me, I love supporting black business but you must do better & put forth customer centric attainable goals! Thankfully the fog didn't impact my drive-home then again the unsweetened uptown wasn't going to hinder my paired vision. Good luck! read more

Ordered from here a good amount of times. I love the sweet twizz shrimp it's definitely enough for two sittings for one person. The crab is usually seasoned but not very meaty always but that just depends. They're busy a lot especially on weekends but they try to get your order done pretty fast. They have good people answering the phones the girls are usually sweet. The seafood fries are good they include a lot of seafood compared to others I've tried. read more

If I could give half a star, I would. I waited over an hour and a half for a DoorDash order. The driver contacted me and said she had been outside over 30 minutes with no contact from anyone inside. I called both store numbers multiple times with no answer. I've never had an issue with them up until now and hearing how my sister placed an order that came bland, cold and unseasoned. Just tossed inside the pan. When she contacted the restaurant she was hung up on. I'm all for supporting black business but this is the last time I order anything from this place. read more

I love crabbae. My boyfriend and I are always ordering the Rasta pastas from here! Only giving it three stars due to consistency. Some times are extremely better than others. But hasn't been terrible cause we still go back! read more

The service was AWFUL and the food portion was NOT what it should have been. I visited the location last month and spent $37.00. I traveled from Virginia. I called in my order approximately 6:43 pm at the Kenilworth location and spent $37.00 at your location. I ordered the Rasta pasta and was told to wait in my car for a text to advise me it was ready. My husband and I waited in the car for 50 minutes in my car and once I came in I was told that they ran out of pasta and had to go get more and it would be ready shortly. The first issue is they could have called me to advise of the delay and ask if I wanted to continue to wait or change my order since they take your number when you order and say this is how they notify you when it is ready. We we got the food to our hotel room, the salmon was a half a piece. We picked it up to see it was cut in half with the other end obviously missing. The food was so spicy it was darn near not edible unless you have milk. Since spices are subjective I will not harp on the spicy point but what was UNACCEPTABLE was the quality of the salmon. For $35.00 it should have been a whole piece of salmon. I notified the owner via Instagram in his DM and wrote exactly what I posted here to explain and it literally took him 27 days to respond and there was no apology or accountability rather a generic response of: "We want to thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your business and look forward to correcting any issue you had. Our customer service manager is crabbaecustomerservice@gmail.com please send your comments and concerns." This is when I decided to post this review here to help someone else. I always try to support black businesses because they claim we don't but this is the experience we have. Then they are mad when you don't try again but it is the lack of accountability and responses that keep up frorm coming back. Save your money and time. read more

Where can I begin. I'm not giving the place a lower rating because our waitress CeCe was excellent. CeCe was the best part of the experience. I ordered something that was not good. I sent it back and the owner told me he's not taking it off the bill and told me he can make me a new one. I told him I don't want it cause if I didn't like it how would a new order make it different. CeCe did her best to try to accommodate me which was great but I declined and was going to pay, because I didn't want to mess up my friends celebration. The owner later comes up to me and says he doesn't have an attitude. I was taken back to say the least, I told him that he could have just left things alone and to look at his demeanor. I tried to just ignore it but he kept on saying he was fatigued. He also dropped another person's (in Our party) food on the floor and told her some of it was salvageable. Excuse me, she's supposed to eat food off the floor? Didn't offer to replace her food or give her a discount. Business has great potential, but the owner needs a course in business management and customer service. We were also rushed for another party. read more
