It was still nice to experience what it tasted like for the first time, though I don't think I would get this item specifically again. And then to add to this frustration, later I asked for a lid for my leftovers to take home and the server said they were out of lids! I was pissed again. So I looked at their other larger plastic containers and asked to have one of them. Thankfully it fit but it bothers me that the server didn't think of this alternative to offer me. Pastries are beautifully made, works of art that are consistent and fresh every day. They sometimes have left over mystery bags you can get for a few dollars, which is also pretty great. Their canelés are my favorite in the city! The staff are always super helpful and make excellent coffee drinks.
