During my interaction with this supervisor, I was told to "file a lawsuit" instead of being provided with a professional or data-based explanation. This response is unacceptable and reflects a serious failure in customer handling. I expect this interaction to be formally reviewed and addressed. More importantly, I am formally rejecting the current determination of my claim. The insured device a DJI Air 3S, approximately two months old experienced a sudden and unexplained loss of power/thrust during normal operation (strong signal, no interference, no pilot error), resulting in the aircraft dropping into water. The water exposure was a direct consequence of this in-flight failure. This is not a discretionary interpretation: This incident constitutes a failure event resulting in damage. It is not a voluntary loss, misuse, or negligence-based scenario. Your current classification appears to disregard the actual sequence of events and lacks any clear, data-supported justification. A generalized denial is not sufficient. At this stage, I am demanding the following: Immediate escalation of this case to a senior claims review team A full re-evaluation based on the technical facts of the incident Written identification of the exact policy clause being applied, quoted in full A detailed, data-based explanation supporting any denial or limitation of coverage Resolution of this claim through replacement of the insured device Please also confirm that this claim will remain open pending additional technical input from the manufacturer, , which I am actively pursuing. If CPS is unable to provide a clear, fact-based justification for denying this claim, I expect prompt corrective action, including approval of a replacement without further delay. Failure to properly address this matter will leave me no choice but to pursue formal escalation through consumer protection channels and other available remedies. I called today to open a claim as my washer is not working. I am not hopeful that they will be able to fix it. My overall experience with this company is 1 star. The person taking down the information opens the claim (he was very nice and gets 5 stars for answering the phone) but now I have to wait 1 to 3 business days while "they review my claim" - so 1 to 3 business days without my washer while my claim goes through an unnecesary review. My last experience with this company was that they assigned me to a warranty repair service that took weeks for an appointment. - they have no parts on them so they ran a diagnostic. They ordered the parts - which in my case were incorrect. So they had to reorder them. 2 MONTHS later they had the right parts, fixed it, only they didn't fix it. I called the claim company back but since 30 days had passed they said I had to open and pay again for a new claim to fix an issue that should have been fixed already. read more

Got this warranty included with my new Panasonic W 95 television. Haven't had any claims yet but I can say that setting up the warranty was very easy as the information was provided by beach camera to the warranty company. All I had to do at the CPS website was give them my warranty registration number provided by beach camera and all the purchase information filled right in. Very convenient. Hopefully I won't have to use the warranty but we'll see what happens. read more

Terrible Experience - Stay Away from Consumer Priority Services (CPS) I've been waiting since January for CPS to fix my brand-new, expensive stove, and it's now been over 5 months with no resolution. The parts are on backorder, and CPS refuses to do anything to help. They actually told me that even if it takes a year, I just have to wait! I've been without a stove all this time, spending extra money eating out and trying to manage without a working kitchen. CPS clearly does not care about their customers or the inconvenience and financial stress they cause. This is not what I expected when I paid for a warranty that was supposed to give peace of mind. Do yourself a favor - don't buy any warranty from Consumer Priority Services. They are unresponsive, unhelpful, and unreliable. read more

I purchased a protection plan through Mercari. I haven't had to use it yet but it was a very simple process and a great price.

Service was ok but when you purchased an expensive piece of equipment it's at least expected to have a bag to carry it in.

Please be sure you understand your "warranty". The standard warranty works this way: When the warranty is purchased, the amount you spent on the item is "set-aside" for either repair or replacement. If there is an issue with the product during the term of the warranty, you must first agree to a service call, which will be arranged by CPS. If the repair works, great, you have a working product. However, if the repair does not fix the problem, they will keep spending your "set a-side" until it is gone or the repair tech says it can't be fixed. When you get to that point, CPS will offer you a settlement of what is left in your "set a-side". If that is $300 on a $2,000 item, that's what you get. Obviously, that is not enough to replace the item. Just be aware that your "warranty" will never get you a replacement product because they will always spend your "set a-side" funds first to try to fix it. read more

These people absolutely suck!!! They drag repairs out over multiple visits and now when they same issue has happened a second time, they had me wait all day for a diagnostic only to now turn it over to a new technician who doesn't come out to my location so we are starting all over again. Time to contact New York lemon law. Their service is absolutely awful and the process to get anything done is beyond ridiculous. Need to send videos and photos before anyone comes out to actually do anything. This drags on for weeks and weeks and meanwhile, we don't have a working refrigerator. read more

We purchased a 4-year extended warranty from CPS for our LG front loader washing machine. When we required repair, they sent an incompetent service tech who further damaged our machine. We hired a reputable repair company we previously used for a different appliance and ended up incurring over $650 in part and repair costs to fix the machine. This is in addition to the money we paid for the warranty. CPS now refuses to respond to our repeated attempts at reimbursement. We have pics of the damage and the repair. I don't understand these positive reviews - CPS stole our money and left us with a broken machine. CPS has cost us over $1,000 for absolutely no services. This is outright theft. BUYER BEWARE! We will NEVER purchase another warranty again. Total scam. CPS offers people additional warranty coverage if they post a positive review on Google and Amazon. Positive reviews are posted from people who have never had to file a claim or request a repair. Don't be scammed by this company! They stole our money and chances are high they will also steal your money. read more

They well warranties that are absolutely fraudulent. We filed a claim 3 months ago on our leaky washing machine by Bosch. We have had two separate service visits to diagnose and have been waiting ever since (over two months) for approval. Now we are are simply paying for the unit to be fixed out of pocket since the warranty is a fraud and has cost us thousands in taking time off work to meet with the repairman, and laundry service while we wait for it to get fixed. Judging from the other reviews this is very common with CPS. Stay far away from them. I am mad that I spent thousands of dollars on an extended warranty that doesn't work. Never again read more

I got a CPS 10 year extended warranty on a GE window AC. It failed within the first year. GE sent me a replacement with no hassle. However, CPS refused to apply the 10 year warranty to the new AC. They say that the warranty only covers the original unit. I escalated this and pleaded my case to no avail. Basically, my 10 year warranty is worthless. In July 2013 I purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator with a five year extended Warranty through CPS through July 2018. When I filed my latest claim in November 2017, this was the response from CPS "Previous claim expenses are equal to or have exceeded the current value of the device. Consumer Priority service has reached its maximum liability for this warranty. Our liability is limited to the the original price of the covered equipment. This agreement is terminated at the point total repair costs reach the lower of the original purchase price as indicated on your bill of sale or the current fair market value of the covered item. We apologize for prior incorrect email stating your unit was under manufacturer's warranty. However, prior expenses have already reached our maximum liability for this unit." None of this was information was provided at the time they accepted my payment in full :( read more
