Great people to work with…read more This past weekend our bathroom faucet handle broke off at 2:30 am and water gushing out on top of the sink and around the floor. Guesses are the cheap plastic handle froze last week and finally broke off. I had to turn off the water outside to stop the geyser. We have dealt with MFRC in the past and trusted their work. So the next morning (Sunday) I called and left a message for them to see if they would fix our issue. I fully did not expect them to return my call until Monday. I received a call from Paul, the owner and he said he'd come out to fix our issue. He did so even though it was on a Sunday and this was out of their service area. He came out and replaced the damaged faucet within 15-20 minutes. Faucet is nicer than the one that was broken and metal - not some cheap plastic thing. Our RV had a major structural problem and would have to go to the factory in IL of 2-3 months. NBOA's willingness to rent in the off season and possibly reduce revenue in the coming months as a result of the arrangement spoke volumes about NBOA's commitment to do what is best for its clients. It also gave us the assurance that we would be in good hands if ever we were to own multiple RVs and rent them through NBOA. Following the return of our RV, we choose to purchase an additional RV and began to rent it through NBOA in August 2020 and continued to do so through August 2023 when we chose to move out of state to help aging family members. I wanted to share with you my experience with Rv Man mobile service. I called and spoke with Austin…read moreand informed him that I had some issues with my RV camper, and we're camping, not sure if that's labeled as an "emergency call" based on my $175 hourly rate I was charged. I noticed that someone 4 months prior was only charged $139 hourly rate. We have warranty coverage but unfortunately the price Rv Man charged was so inflated I was short paid by claims $500 on a $1500 claim, I was charged for a converter $490 when you can buy the camping world (which is where they bought it) for $320. I also noticed that someone 4 months prior was only charged $139 hourly rate (we paid $175). They charged me over $100 "locating parts", shouldn't that be part of the hourly rate that I'm paying you guys? Now claims time.... When I first called Rv Man, they said they would not handle the claims part (now I know why) and that I would have to pay out of pocket and go through claiming it through extended warranty, I was okay with that due to the fact that I was stuck in a position where I had no electric in my RV. Desperate times, right. They did excellent work in getting me back operational but I feel like it's a slap in the face when a company takes advantage of someone in a vulnerable position. I did give Austin the opportunity to make things right with overcharged, but he didn't respond to any of my emails. Did I mention $175 AN HOUR!... surgeons are cheaper.
