I don't usually write reviews unless I think the company provided outstanding service. Walker Collision Center definitely deserves the recognition. There was some minor (but noticeable) damage to my 2003 Porsche 911's front bumper and paint scratches on the right side skirt I wanted corrected. Walker Collision Center expertly repaired and painted these areas for a more than reasonable price and the car was returned in 3 days. I was amazed at how well the repairs were performed, I couldn't even tell where the damage had been and I can only describe the paint job as "liquid glass" since it was so incredibly smooth and glossy to both touch and sight. The paint is high quality, was color matched to the rest of the car's factory paint and has a life time guarantee. Jacqueline, in the office, is very professional, really knows her job and made the estimation process fast and easy. My actual bill came in lower than the estimate. Ryan, the owner, took the time to make sure that any questions or concerns I had were fully addressed. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing paint or body work; to the point that I have already scheduled my wife's 2013 VW Beetle for body and paint work as well as a damaged tail light repair on my 2025 Toyota Tundra. read more

Shorts look like panties. Hair unwashed. Expression looks hung up wet. Then Blames insurance for her mistakes and delays. Was told Ryan was owner not true. Tim Walker is a lawyer that owns shop. Ryan is a coward no business sense. Ask a question runs to the shop. He is doing grunt work every time I was there. Office is in shambles. There is no communication from shop to office. Both Ryan and Jacquline caught in many lies. why car was never worked reviews show no urgency. They made so many mistakes. Typically a car is broken down to see details. Excuse was it couldn't be moved into shop. Ryan knew car was inoperable on accident day lied he could do the work. Should have gotten it towed first to diagnostic shop. Again no sense. Jacquline threw him under the bus during one of many visits. He no longer will talk to customers. Because she runs the sloppy office. I believe that they can do basic body work. Due to some good reviews. But major stuff no way. Jacquline even said her Camaro has not been worked due to how far behind they are. PS only reason I'm writing a review is because she said the shop I was sending to had bad reviews. She's not very bright. Most insurance won't move a car from one shop to another. But since my car was never touched. Part that were ordered that I picked up were horrible scratched and she had ordered two left head lights. But typically shop should have caught when parts arrived. I have an old vehicle that hardly ever gets out of the garage, so it is in remarkable shape. I drive it ever once in a while to keep the battery charged. It was on one of these trips when something fell against the rear fender causing a dent that was deep enough to knock off paint. I went to the local place in Spring Branch to get an estimate and was knocked over by the price they gave me to repair. After hearing that price I looked at their reviews on Yelp and saw that they were poorly rated. I looked at other locations in north San Antonio and New Braunfels and found a handful of places with 4 1/2 to 5 stars and went off to get estimates from them. After getting multiple estimates, I decided to use Walker Collision Center. I picked them based on my great experience with their estimator, Jeremy Thibodeaux and from seeing the just finished work on a Ford F150 (it was so good that I thought it was a custom paint job). Jeremy advised me of when they could take my TrailBlazer, how long it would take, and the process of how they would fix the dent and paint. He went into detail on the paint process as the vehicle his a special paint, and how they would massage the dent area without using hardly any filler. Jeremy also let me know that the vehicle would be kept indoors at all times (important as we were expecting severe storms while they had the vehicle). The repair process took the exact amount of time that Jeremy had said it would. When I got to the shop, the vehicle was sitting our front next to a Mercedes that had been repaired from a similar incident. I examined both vehicles and could see they put as much effort into my TrailBlazer as the Mercedes. I was extremely satisfied. I highly recommend these folks. If we are ever in need of repairs on any of our vehicles, I will definitely return here to have them done. read more

Admittedly, we got off to a bit of a rough start with Walker Collision, but in the end, we met with the owner who was very pleasant to talk with and willing to make some adjustments and make it right in the end, and that's all we really want, a quality finish, so despite the delays and initial problems, end result was great. Cherry Job! Brought in my Corvette Stingray Torch Red Carbon Fiber Targa Top that flew off and landed on the exterior side, scratched and dinged up. May, 2019: I am relatively new to the area and had the misfortune of being rear-ended while in Austin last year and then earlier this year had another unhappy rendezvous with a deer on the the road to Wimberley. Not knowing the reputations of the many body shops to choose from I did some exhaustive research of reviews on the Web and also talked to some locals about their experiences. I visited three different shops and I got the best feeling about a shop located in a remote little area off Rueckle Road (behind McCoys) called Walker Collision Center. I really got a sense of honesty and integrity about the owner Tim Walker and his associate Ryan Halle - and their history in the business is extensive. At Walker you don't get the feeling of a "turn and burn" factory where they're cranking out jobs as fast as they can. In the course of having body work done there, Tim went the extra mile dealing with my insurance company, car rental company and even the Hyundai dealer who got involved due to a damaged automatic cruise control system that fell outside of the purview of "body work" and had to go back to the dealer for repairs. As it turned out, Hyundai failed to fix it so Tim jumped back in and properly diagnosed the problem and re-filed a claim extension with my insurance and made sure my car was back to normal operation and I was a happy customer You definitely get a sense of pride and integrity at Walker's shop. Tim recently re-teamed with Ryan (who had worked with him years ago) as Tim prepares for retirement and will turnover operations to Ryan as new owner. For now, the two are surely THE dynamic duo for auto body work in New Braunfels. Can't recommend them highly enough. UPDATE: July 15, 2020 Back again for more of the "Walker expertise" after the check-engine light came on in my wife's car. She had previously had her mechanical work done at Christian Brothers (who by the way are a good shop, albeit a bit pricey). CB wanted $120 just to run the analysis of the check engine codes and any requires repairs were on top of that. I called Ryan Halle at Walker for his advice (who now is the full-fledged owner of the shop after Tim retired) and he, like Tim, is one of those guys who's so concerned about seeing customers get a fair shake than perhaps he should be. He said "just bring it in we'll put the computer on it" which we did and after a test drive and his computer analysis he determined it was likely just some dirty gas and recommended a can of injector cleaner (which we bought at O'Reillys) and a couple tanks of a higher octane gasoline and sent us on our way! Now, I'm not implying that everybody who's got a problem is gonna get a free service call, but it shows you what kind of people you're dealing with at Walker. With them It's not about seeing how much money they can get out of you, but making sure they give you quality work (and in this instance - some good free advice) so that they develop a relationship with each client and hopefully a customer for life. So there - can't say enough about a company who treats you fairly these days. They're getting harder and harder to find. read more
