I was the only one taking the class so it went by pretty quickly. The instructor is so nice and really explains each topic well. She asks you questions to make sure you understand the content in order to apply it to the emergency situation. Her questions all help with the test at the end. She's friendly and approachable, so don't be afraid to ask questions! The mannequins have become more high tech from when I last did my BLS certification. There's an app that can measure the depth and rate you're performing your compressions. I think that's pretty cool! In terms of cleanliness/infection control, we were wearing masks. I only removed my mask momentarily when I was performing rescue breaths. All equipment was wiped down and disinfected after the course. Hand sanitizer was also available. I felt safe with the proper precautions taken. Overall, I highly recommend getting your certification done here! The whole experience was pleasant.

He targeted one of the people in our class repeatedly, raising his voice and consistently making her feel bad. He was hostile, unprofessional, and oppressing. In the days leading up to our class with him, he was almost unreachable on the phone and when he did answer he was incredibly rude and unhelpful - blaming my company for not understanding instructions he was poorly conveying to us. I highly urge you to go through another agency and instructor. Truly awful.

A few years ago I went inside to inquire about first aid training. It just so happens the guy asked me was I teach him. I thought he was psychic can I said yes. But he told me the reason he asked is because they give a discount to teachers. At the time I think it was $15 total price. Don't quote me on it. Other than that is long-standing always serves the community and I'm glad to see that it has been a Mainstay after all of my years in this area.
