Ask the Community - CPG Pasadena

Hello, Do you have open gym time slots/sessions?

Do you guys still do birthday parties? I've called and emailed weeks ago & still no response.

I visited a few months ago and really liked your facility. However I was looking for a class that was just for one year olds. May I ask if you could create one? It'll be a lot better so the big kids aren't trampling over the little kids.

Are there open gym sessions?

Not at the time but there's talk of maybe starting them one day. The adult class does have 10 class punch cards now, though, in addition to monthly plans.

I was wondering about the prices of the toddler classes (3 star and tall and small)? I can't seem to find them anywhere. Thank you!

My son was in ninja zone 3 yr old class and it was $79 or $80. Idk about the other classes though.

Please train your employees on interacting with special needs families. This location was…read moreunfortunately recommended to us by the Regional Center as a place welcoming of children on the spectrum. Our experience was quite the opposite. Upon signing in for our trial class, we told the instructor our daughter's name. Right as we were about to explain that she is on the spectrum, the instructor told my daughter "You can't talk or what?" When we told him our daughter is nonverbal, he literally laughed and said "Oh." When the website said there would be lots of fun and laughter in class, I didn't realize they meant at the expense of my daughter. Within a few minutes the instructor ran up to us in front of all the other parents and told us we should bring her another day for an adaptive class, but that she could stay for the current class. When we we told him this class was recommended and did not see any information on the website about adaptive classes, he just said oh yeah we don't put that online. Before we attended the class, we made sure to fill out the student profile to make the staff aware of my daughter's diagnosis. Upon reviewing her profile, they could have let us know about all of our options since they do not provide this information online. At one point he started calling my daughter tippy toes. Making a nickname out of something many autistic children struggle with, was upsetting. At the end he said they did not have any time to focus on my daughter because they had too many kids. I never expected the focus to be solely on my daughter (even though the staff definitely made more of an effort to help the youngest gymnasts). I just wanted a place where she could feel included and supported, not made fun of. This class would have been a challenge for anyone being introduced to gymnastics for the first time. Had the staff seemed like they cared about helping my daughter and hadn't laughed at her difficulty speaking, we would have definitely come back for an adaptive class. Please make an attempt to train your staff in interacting with students of all abilities before you create another miserable experience for a special needs family.

They have other coaches but we've mainly had, Ms. Ashleigh, and she is wonderful. Super patient and good with the kids. We recently attended their winter camp which was from 9 am - 2pm for multiple age groups. It was $80 per child with a sibling discount. Other than school it was the first time we just dropped the kids off at a program for that long. They seemed to really like it and expressed that they would do it again.

If you care about your child's physical and emotional well-being, stay far away from this school…read more On July 25, 2025, I brought my 4-year-old daughter to her 4:00 PM gymnastics class. We arrived at 3:59 PM and, as directed by the front desk, walked through the ballet room to get there. The ballet class was already past its scheduled end time, so we waited until the students finished before passing through. Halfway across the room, the ballet teacher suddenly began yelling at us aggressively. My daughter was terrified. I calmly asked her to lower her voice, but she continued screaming--following us into the gymnastics room in front of dozens of children. I have a heart condition and began feeling unwell from the stress, yet she would not stop. No staff intervened. I assumed the school would handle it properly, but I was wrong. Later, the owner defended the teacher, accused me of being a "criminal," and took zero responsibility. The real victims were my daughter and the many children who witnessed this unprovoked outburst. Parents should be aware of three serious concerns: 1. Poor safety - No security, unattended front desk, and children can easily wander outside to the street. I personally saw a 6-year-old disappear for 20 minutes. 2. Emotionally unstable ballet teacher - Multiple online reviews mention her history of yelling at kids when parents aren't present. 3. Unprofessional management - Canceled classes without notice, no accountability, and intimidation tactics from the owner, Serge. I regret not calling the police that day. If I had, maybe fewer children would be subjected to this behavior. Parents, please protect your children. A school should be a safe, nurturing place--not one where kids are traumatized and parents are threatened. I've attached a video showing my daughter's reaction after being traumatized by the teacher--no child should ever go through this.

It was suggested I try the toddler-3 year old class instead which was more like a mommy and me class. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to sign up to be part of the regular class yet but I will when time permits. My son loved it. Also, make sure you park in the structure (free) and not the side building as that's reserve for the businesses near them, don't want to risk getting towed.

All the time and effort working with Coach, how can another coach help them get better for the next season?? I'm disappointed with the management here. They don't know how to operate a gym. Before Coach came, they changed out 5 different coaches. Now, my daughter has been with her for 2 1/2 years. She's helped her get better and better as well as her other teammates. My daughter has witnessed plenty of drama with the staff, some I'm concerned because at her age--she doesn't need to be witnessing the drama happening here. We would have left but she didn't want to leave her teammates and Coach, so we stayed. Now that the head coach is gone, all the gymnasts are devastated and don't want to stay. We cannot have a repeat again of revolving new coaches. Finding a good experienced coach is not easy. Us parents have all cancelled our membership today because we don't agree with the decision. That should say enough about how we feel about Coach. A warning to all new members: this gym doesn't appreciate talent. I don't think you should invest your time and money at a place that will make decisions impacting your child's dreams without any consideration. Do yourself a favor and find a gym that supports talented coaches and talented gymnasts for the long term.

She and all the coaches create an environment that pushes athletes to be their best while still making training fun and encouraging. The coaching staff does an outstanding job of challenging the athletes, building confidence, and paying attention to proper technique. Since joining JumpLab, Isabella's conditioning has improved tremendously, and her vertical jump has increased in a noticeable way. She's stronger, quicker, more explosive, and more confident on the court. Even more important, she loves going to training and looks forward to every session. If you're serious about athletic development--especially for volleyball players--JumpLab is the place to be. We're so grateful for Santina and the entire coaching team for helping Isabella reach the next level!

Both of my daughters, who play club volleyball, have been coming to Jump Lab since August of this year. We first heard about this place after seeing many other volleyball players train here, so we decided to give it a try. Our goal was to help our girls improve their strength, speed, and vertical...all things that are very important for volleyball. We started with the 3-months program to see how they liked it, and we've already seen great improvements in their overall athletic performance. Their movements are stronger and more explosive, and we can tell the training is really helping them on the court. The coaches there (Coach Morgan) are professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging. They pay attention to each athlete's needs and push them to reach their full potential. Our girls like to train there because they see the results themselves, and we truly appreciate the positive environment and the results we're seeing. We already referred many (teammates and friends) to Jump Lab and I think many more will join after they see our results. We highly recommend Jump Lab to any athlete who wants to get stronger, faster, and more confident in their sport.

Patient, effective and they all seem to enjoy what they do. Which in turn lets these little animals enjoy the time spent there too. It's not easy to get a spot so make sure you are diligent in getting one for your little. The place is clean, taken care of and you can see the quality of the equipment is in good condition. There might be some obscure zoning requirement for youth gymnastics establishments that the parking…read morearea must not exceed 0.036% of the total lot. Much like other local gymnastics businesses in the area, the parking lot here is small, and the adjacent intersection is a whimsical journey of a thousand turns in the wrong direction. That said, once you figure out where to park (generally on the neighborhood street nearby), this place is one of the best local gyms around for your budding olympian. Built on the site of an old egg ranch (no, really... egg ranch) the gymnastics area itself is expansive: a full size floor exercise area, beams, trampolines, rings, and lots of gym equipment. Ample seating is available for parents, far enough away from the athletes to avoid armchair coaching. The staff is the right mix of supportive and stern, adjusting perfectly to motivate and train my three differently aged kids of 10, 6, and 4. Each is appropriately placed in a training program for his/her age and ability level, and each has enjoyed their time here tremendously, with plenty of pushing and positive reinforcement from the coaches. I am impressed with the dedication to safety and procedures to support learning here. Some of my own former students have trained here and earned college scholarships for their efforts, no doubt through the effective teaching of the staff at Elite. I have also attended a "field trip" here during the school day, in which students were given the opportunity to try out the different activities under the watchful eye of the coaching staff. Overall, this is a great place to support kids to participate in a healthy activity that develops their minds, their perseverance, and their physical health. Prices are comparable and reasonable when compared with other places, and the coaches seem to know every child's name. Little things like that--that build rapport with youngsters and their parents--make a big difference. If you have a kid who is spending a little too much time staring at a small screen and/or who has expressed an interest in gymnastics, this is a great place to get started.
