Chris and his sidekick Edgar are everything an American business should be. Quick, efficient, thorough, and with no surprises in terms of costs and expectations. In 3 days they managed to cover about 1000 sq ft and a ceiling that needed some challenging crack repairs. It got dusty from the work, and not having a kitchen for a few days was a real pain, but given their activity in our house, there was barely any residual mess at the end of it all. Chris's own admission that his "OCD takes over" when painting/repairing serves him well, as he anticipated what needed to be done and GOT it done. Chris did a great job. We found out on a Monday that we'd need a room painted either that day or the next day. Chris replied right away to a message on here and gave a very fair price to paint a room. On the day of the scheduled paint it was snowing a ton out and Chris still came over and did the job. Chris and Devin did a fantastic job painting our entire house. Here are some things I appreciated about their work: 1) Reliable: to have a person come to your home, where your family lives it is important to hire someone who is trustworthy and reliable. They are reliable. 2) Fast communication: I recieved a quote almost immediately after meeting with him the first time. We communicated mainly through txt afterwards and figured out all the unknowns and obsticles as a team afterwards. 3) Flexibility: He was respectful of our way of doing business and worked with us using a payment method and contract we usually use for contractors. He adjusted his business practices to accommodate our comfort level. I call this the essence of customer service and thoughtfulness. Also, Chris asked for feedback. If I wanted a corner to be redone, he was flexible to recieve feedback and re-do a corner or two to make sure the final product is the right color, sheen, number of coats.  4) Working through uncertainty: we had another group of contractors coming to do the flooring the same time as Chris and Devin working here. After working through the project schedule Chris decided to give the space to the flooring people for a day to increase quality of work and minimize chaos. I think that was smart and shows his leadership abilities. I had a request for a last minute paint job to my entry way bathroom so I searched Yelp and found Chris. I requested an estimate and received the quickest response with the most reasonable estimate from his business. What really sold me was I needed the job done that day and he came to my home that evening! No questions asked, no hesitations, he communicated with me every step of the way to let me know of his attended arrival time (which I was grateful for because really at that point I felt that I was on his time) Chris took his time to patch every single little nail hole in that bathroom and prep the walls so nicely that when the walls were done they looked like they were never there. He wanted to do a second coat but he had worked until 11:45 at night and the room liked so beautiful that I told him I didn't think it needed it. Chris even took the time to look at a bunch of old paint I had in my garage to tell me if it was still good or if I sold trash them. The gentalman earned the largest tip I've ever given anyone ever!
