I was in the market of buying a new mattress and end up finding the place when I was driving by. Whoever new there was an ORGANIC mattress manufacturer right in the 757! It's an older industrial building and the show room is smaller than most but it's made for simple shopping. There's 3 options to choose for your mattress; soft, medium or firm. You can have one side of the mattress made for your preference and the other your partner's preference. No more compromising lol. But what made me decided to buy from them is the organic materials and NO off gassing from toxic materials!! I bought a mattress previously from another mattress chain, and the off gassing was so bad it made me sick and triggered my sinus/headache. This is what made me choose Cozy Pure. I had no issues with my migraines sleeping in this mattress from day 1. There is a "break in" period and it took about 2 weeks to get the mattress to feel good to me. So keep that in mind. We first ordered our mattress in October of last year. The website indicated that everything was in stock--no issues. Over a month goes by, and we call them asking about delivering our mattress. Turns out that they didn't have latex in stock so could not make a mattress at that time. They promised that they would be getting a shipment soon. They packed up shop on the 21st of December and did not open until the New Year. Now we are in January of this year still without a mattress and have been sleeping on an air mattress for months. I hope they got to enjoy a long holiday break (not that there was much going on anyway). Meanwhile, we are so far from when we originally ordered our mattress that they need our card information again because we are outside of the authorization period. If you are reading this and would like to get a mattress in the same calendar year, order somewhere else. read more

So excited to post this review! For background, I moved here after 10 years in San Diego where I had a regular local business that I purchased my mattress, pillows, etc from. I was searching for a business that specialized in natural and organic materials... man did I luck out! I'm in the Navy and needless to say, the racks aren't always the most comfortable parts of your daily routine. I've purchased "rack fitted" toppers, the do it yourself cut the topper, etc. None of them ever satisfied. I wanted my next deployment to be as close to sleeping on my latex mattress at home as possible. Insert the "la noodle" toppers. They have two main models for this, one tufted and the other almost in cylindrical batting. I went with the later but both are high quality. The noodles do have a free flow, which is EXACTLY what I needed. Because the racks are narrower than a traditional twin, I needed something that I could mold to fit perfectly. Was it a little pricier than your run of the mill topper, absolutely... was it worth it... WITHOUT A DOUBT! The day I bought it I threw it on top of my mattress at home to test it out. I like that it still allows my mattress to provide the support while the noodles provide a cushion embrace. It goes without saying, this deployment I'll be rocking extreme comfort! I also love they have a variety of pillows. My buckwheat pillows are still in amazing shape but I know when they start to give I'll check theirs out. They also sell latex and organic fills on those. Organic bedding as well, but I'm kind of obsessed with my current bedding line and can't stray haha. Think I'll be treating myself to a new mattress shortly and cozy pure will be my absolute one stop shopping for this! As for customer service, I was super impressed by the personable nature of the sleep advisor (I believe her name was Susan). See a few negative reviews on here... ignore them and check them out for yourself! Lovely show room and love that it's local! You won't get the quality or customer care buying such important purchases from online companies, that's for sure. We purchased a set of flannel sheets from CozyPure. We are very unhappy with them. The quality is poor. From the first washing, they shed an enormous amount of fiber. The lint screen on our drying was almost completely plugged the first time they were washed. After we had these sheets on our bed for a week, the carpet around our bed was covered with fibers which had fallen from the sheets. On the second washing, our drying lint trap was again almost completely plugged with fibers. We don't know about the quality of other CozyPure products. We purchased from CozyPure because we wanted to support an American company. Almost all bed linen on the market is imported. This is not the quality that we would expect from an American made product. read more

My wife and I drove an hour to check this place out before work. We were looking forward to purchasing a natural mattress and this is the closest store we could find that sold this. We arrived a little early and went to a coffee shop to kill some time. At 10:00 we drove over to the store since they open at 10:00 and we had to get to work. We got there at 10:10 and doors were closed. We saw someone inside so knocked on the door and a very disheveled looking man came to the door and looked as if we had woken him. When I asked if they were open, he said very impolitely, we are now! He asked why we were there, again in an unfriendly tone, and I said to buy a mattress. He then took us to a room in the back and said here they are, I'll be back to see if you like anything. The mattresses were dirty looking and the place was not welcoming at all. For the costs of these mattresses you'd think the service and presentation would be much better. Needless to we left and did not buy anything! read more

We purchased a queen-sized CozyPure mattress 3 months ago. I waited to post a review as I wanted to allow a suitable break-in period before commenting. This is the best mattress I've ever slept on! If there's a down side, it's that the mattress is so comfortable and cozy, I don't want to get up and go to work in the mornings. We also purchased the organic pillows and bedding. The pillows hold my head at the perfect level - No More Neck Pain! And the sheets, comforter and pillow-top blend together perfectly for a wonderful and refreshing night's rest. After reading other comments, I feel compelled to comment on the customer service we've received. I don't know what these folks are talking about because we've had nothing but outstanding and attentive care from the CozyPure staff. This is a small, woman-owned business (bonus!), that hand makes each organic mattress to order. Perhaps these other people are used to huge, mega-corporations that that mechanically churn out shoddy, chemical-laden products and have dozens (hundreds?) of customer service reps who live in some 3rd world country. Not CozyPure! The people I spoke with (including Cheryl - the OWNER!) are working right here in America...and IN the factory! We love our CozyPure products - and have recommended them to all our friends and family. Great local neighborhood friendly business. Very helpful staff, very polite and friendly. Pillow deals everyday Saturday! Two for one! I waited to write me review till after using getting some good ZZzzzz's on the pillows and they are still giving me good dreams (been a year!). If I still love local I would definitely frequent the discount rack. Got a double blanket (solid quality) that is perfect for cold days. I wish I could afford a whole King Set, but the price (though worth the quality I am sure) is what keeps me from dropping 500 bucks and five stars! read more

I just received one of the pillows and can't complain. I bought a customizable layer bed and it took about a week to get dialed in, so I expect this to be about the same experience. If you're not interested in tinkering to get the right feel, this might not be for you. I can't believe the ratings on yelp are so low, particularly concerning the return policy. Imagine someone drooled all over the pillow and returned it... There is no part of me that would be interested in receiving a used pillow. Additionally, I feel like this is one of the best values you can find considering two pillows and some extra noodles appears to be enough to make 2-3 additional pillows, which is awesome if you have kids. 2 nights in and I have zero complaints. read more

Awful customer service, plain rude and accusatory. They don't honor checkout prices so don't be shocked if you get sprung with another invoice after purchase. Worst customer service I've ever had with a small business, there's a way of communicating that shows taking responsibility and basic politeness. They possess neither of those qualities. We purchased our King Size CozyPure mattress and frame and all the bedding to go with it. It's the last mattress we'll ever have to buy! It's SO comfy and plush. And what a nice thing to know that my mattress, pillows, wool and noodle mattress pads are not up-gassing benzene all night making us sick like foam mattresses do. Buying a mattress is pretty high up the list of anxiety-provoking experiences, like choosing a mate or buying a sofa - IT'S A HUGE COMMITMENT! I had the "it's not you, it's me" talk with our 22-year old traditional box spring and mattress. "It's time for change," I said, even though it was still in great shape with no lumps, bumps, or obvious signs of wear and tear. We like a firm mattress and after two decades, ours still provided good support, but I found I needed just a little more give to ease pressure on the shoulders and hips. And so we embarked on our quest for the perfect mattress. After much research, we were intrigued by natural latex beds. We found ourselves in Williamsburg in October 2017 and decided to take a side trip to Norfolk to check out Cozypure. Susan attended to us and answered a bunch of questions and provided pricing information. Then she left us alone as we hopped from bed to bed for the better part of an hour. Not once were we pressured into buying anything. After we built our king bed in Spring 2018, we bought the hotel package from Cozypure in June 2018. The online ordering process was easy and delivery was on time. I really like that we supported a local business, but more importantly, I LOVE the bed and now that we have enjoyed five months of great sleep, I am so glad we chose natural latex and this company. The bedding feels incredible and it truly feels like sleeping on clouds. No overheating at all. Whew! I will warn you that buying this bed might cause you to oversleep the first couple of weeks. Really crappy customer service. As high as their prices are you would think that they would be more on top of their game. Multiple errors with my order, extremely slow processing, takes over a week to even ship out. They do not stand behind their products at all and if you aren't satisfied you will be out a lot of money as their return policy is crap. Dropped over $1000 with them on pillows and linens and regret spending every penny with them. This company needs an overhaul big time. read more

Purchased the Omni Sculpted Organic topper. Wish I hadn't. Substance is a bit sticky, indicating it could have been vulcanized better, will likely compress over time, does not breath well, meaning I am getting hot on it, which never happened with old organic latex topper, and isn't even close to 2", even at the peaks. Maybe 1.7" at highest peak. Total waste of money. Don't purchase. Because it was sticky, it was very difficult to get into the very nice Omni cover, and little pieces flaked off it in process. This item should not be sold separately from their mattresses, as it is not good for the purpose people are likely to buy it. Sigh. read more

PURCHASE WITH EXTREME CAUTION We purchased a soft king mattress and foundation from CozyPure Organic Comfort Zone on 5/17/2017. I called about 6 months ago regarding impressions of our body on the mattress and I was told this is normal and considered "the break in period." More recently the depressions have grown deeper and I have developed hip pain. I contacted the company on 5/30/2018 and received an email on 6/1/2018 asking our height and weight. We didn't get a response back after replying to their email so I sent an email on 6/7/2018 and followed up with a phone call. Susan's response was if the depression isn't at least 1 1/2 inches deep the mattress is not covered. However, we can purchase a firmer section at 125.00 each, doesn't include shipping. We spent over 4,000.00 for a mattress and foundation; I cant believe the response is spend more money or just settle with what you have. Susan was very helpful with the sale of our mattress and said they stand behind their product 100% and will make sure their customers are completely satisfied. SHE NEGLECTED TO MENTION AT THE CUSTOMERS EXPENSE This is my first time posting in this manner, I just want other consumers to know what they too may face if issues arise. I purchased my first mattress from these guys back in 2014 as part of package called a Hotel Collection. I purchased a firm even though they recommended a medium for us. A few months later we were back because as it turned out the firm was too firm for us. It was so easy to change the comfort level and the folks there were so helpful in making the change. Four years later, I am still in love with this mattress! I look forward to going to bed at night and I hate leaving it in the morning because it feels so amazing. The Cuddle topper is crazy comfortable. Since then we have purchased two additional mattresses for the grandkids and we just ordered another Hotel Collection for my daughter as a wedding gift. The noodle pillows are wonderful and I have bought them for gifts for every one in the family. We did a lot of research before we chose Cozy Pure. I like the mattresses this company offers particularly the option to purchase mattresses with different levels of firmness. I ordered an extra firm mattress and didn't hear anything for two weeks. Then when I called I was informed that they had run out of the mattress and would have my order in next Monday. OK, I can understand that this might happen. But then when I ordered a second mattress of different firmness and I didn't hear for over two weeks, I called again and got the same message. This is simply unprofessional. If the company is going to delay on filling orders, they should at least inform their customers rather than waiting for them to follow up and make a call. I actually think the delay had more to do with their misplacing my orders than not having enough mattresses. Making mattresses is what they do! Filling orders needs some help. read more

Three years ago my husband and I bought an expensive mattress that sagged after 6 months. It took us 4 years to get another because we hate mattres shopping. For over 6 months we looked at stores on and off and finally ordered one from a big chain store. (rhymes with creepys). Funny, the sales person said that he needed to replace a few mattresses in the showroom that had been there for a year because they were sagging due to people sitting on themn...hmmm interesting, we should have walked away at that comment. Instead, we ordered a mattress. That night my husband stayed up and surfed the web and found Cozypure through an unground mattress website. It seemed legit so we cancelled the order from the 'chain' store and droved to Norfolk VA to see if it was any better. We have had a Cozypure mattress now for about 6 months and It hasn't sagged, We really enjoyed talking with Hans at the store and the history of the Cozypure business. I bought a crib mattress 2 years ago and it is the best investment i could have made for my baby. After reading about the harmful chemicals that they douse conventional mattresses in these days, i felt so guilty at the thought of buying him one. Though the prices are not cheap, they are honestly the least expensive that I have found while researching online. They even offered a payment plan at the time. I myself am not wealthy by any means but a toxic free mattress for my child is worth every penny. Investing in his health was the best decision i made. The store is beautiful, clean, simple. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. They listened to my needs and answered all my questions (and I tend to ask a lot of questions!). They offered free delivery but i was so excited when i finished paying it off i just wanted to get it myself! A truly great buying experience. Now that my child is getting older, however, I look forward to purchasing a twin mattress in the near future. read more

I recently bought a LaNoodle latex filled pillow and found it to be very uncomfortable. When I called customer service to request a refund they said I couldn't return the pillow. In all fairness, it does say on their website that 'items soiled, stained, laundered or used will not be returned' positioned several sentences beneath the phrase 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. Since I have bought and returned pillows in the past I did not think to check the return policy more thoroughly before I purchased the $109.00 pillow. I was however, 'warned' to be more careful the next time I purchase something like that - I found the attitude of the rep lacking any concern or interest. They are within their legal rights but is it worth a big thumbs down and bad customer satisfaction? I would not recommend this company as I am sure you could find an equal product from a company that will actually honor "100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED". read more
