My husband has NEVER praised a massage or bodywork appointment before. He called me after his appointment, almost at a complete loss of words with how good it was. He was truly amazed and pleasantly surprised with CC's work and mentioned how talented she is and how she truly knows and understands the body and what it needs. He still talks about his experience. Since his appointment, my mother-in-law has also visited CC and felt the same way. She was extremely pleased and also nearly at a loss for words with how good it was. Some people are truly gifted with certain talents, and even though I haven't had a session with CC yet (soon!), I can't help but believe she is absolutely one of these people. She told me to take off the robe and I explained to her I had no clothes under, and she had me remove the robe in front of her, so I laid on the table naked with no towel on me while she massaged me. Did not ask what I wanted massaged. It was 80% back and 20% leg massage, 0% foot. It was about 22 minutes instead of 30minutes and she asked for a tip at the end. At first I said "no thanks" but she processed to hand me the receipt and pen and I put $5. She then looked very confused at me. Poor quality massage, bad vibes and expensive for what you receive.

I appreciated all the precautionary measures they took. We filled out a questionnaire with our info, he took our temperatures, we sanitized our hands and we were lead off to separate rooms. Of course, face masks are mandatory. About 10 mins in while he was working on my back I realized the rate I paid was soo worth it!! The massage consisted of 30 min of back and 30 min of feet. I swear I dozed off for a minute while he was massaging my feet and legs but when it was all done I felt rejuvenated and relaxed. I scheduled my appointment on-line and completed the preliminary paperwork on-line before the start of the appointment. In traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is based on the theory that your health depends on the flow of qi (energy) in your body. This energy travels along invisible pathways, known as meridians, that are found throughout the body. A blocked or disrupted flow of qi can have a negative effect on your physical and mental health. Acupuncture aims to restore the flow of qi by resolving any blockages or disruption. Prior to getting stated with my session, Jayme asked me about my background, what my pain points were, etc. This allowed her to get an idea how to best help me. After the conversation, Jayme began to place needles in various parts of my body for my session. With the needles inserted, I laid face down on a message table for about 20 minutes. When the needles were removed, I felt centered and calm. Literally, my mood was totally changed and the stress seemed to just float out of body. I used to get massages on a regular basis but fell off the massage wagon. A friend of mine highlighted that she has gotten massages once a month for the last 14 years. I was definitely behind the 8 ball on massages. My friend's long-term revelation was eye-opening, so I decided to get a massage today with Green Care Massage, which is located on W. Parmer, next door to Tomo Sushi. My massage choice was a deep tissue massage. Those polls are not for curtains!!! When my massage therapist asked me could she work on my back, I thought, I said yes. What she actually said was can I "walk" on your back. In my head, I was thinking why do her hands feel like feet...because they were feet! Snappity, snap, snap...I was getting a full on Ashiatsu massage (also known as back walking massage or barefoot massage). If you are not aware, Ashiatusu is a technique where the massage therapist uses their feet to apply deep pressure while holding onto overhead bars for balance and control. The word "Ashiatsu" is a Japanese word meaning (ashi=foot and atsu= pressure.) Apparently, my back was so tight I needed Ashiatsu first. My massage beginning to end was incredibly effective and rejuvenating experience. From the moment the session began, it was clear the massage therapist was highly skilled and knew her craft. The deep, slow strokes and focused techniques worked through my knots and tight muscles, especially in my back and legs. While there were moments of intensity that you would expect with deep tissue work, it was never painful (pressure...no pain). Afterward my body felt like it had exhaled and breathing fresh air.... well worth the time and money. I could feel the tension evaporating with each targeted movement. It is important note, I felt soreness in my neck and back during the massage that I did know existed previously. After the massage session, I noticed a significant improvement in my mobility and range of motion. My usual stiffness had disappeared. I do not know if I will get a massage once a month, but I certainly will not wait too long before another one.
