The bread to meat ratio was off so I ended up having mostly bites of just thick bread. I would say though that I would definitely try another item on the menu in the future

We saw a lot of reviews talk about how good the Ramen was so we decided to try it and honestly didn't have very high expectations due to a small town The meal blew us away. The lobster roll was delicious but did wish the lobster pieces had more coating of sauce. When eating the bit with the greens it was delish. The lobster portion was pretty good compared to other rolls we've had. The spicy crab ramen was definitely the star. The broth was spicy and flavorful, but not too spicy, and there was a pretty decent portion of Dungeness crab, which we were surprised because we were expecting a little spec. There was lots of fixing steaks cooked perfectly and lots of noodles. we will definitely stop here every time we come back to Lincoln city now for that Ramen.

Seagulls soar by the window and peek at your dinner (separated by glass) and the service is attentive but not overbearing. There's a piano in the lobby and unobstructed views of the coast and when you look down, the sand is right there! Would love to stay here one day. The food was flavorful. I'd rate this overall a 8.8/10. The crab cakes and steak were both house made and very fresh. The steak was perfectly made and bursting with flavor, (T-bone pictured). The side salad was heaping and great to share. The french onion was flavorful but we added some salt and pepper for ourselves. The potatoes bravas were *not* papas bravas and more like breakfast potatoes so if you're craving tapas like potatoes, I would advise considering abstaining from ordering, perhaps. For dessert, the Marion berry cobbler was incredibly fresh and tart. The ice cream paired very well with the Marion berry and pecan crust. I'd love to try the crème brûlée, key lime pie, and lemon cakes one day! What a special place. Took a day trip from Portland to see the ocean, and this was so lovely. We were seated immediately at the bar at sunset on a Sunday afternoon after stumbling across Fathoms. My personal tip for the ladies: the ladies restroom in the bar area has the best views in the house. I snuck a couple trips there to see the sunset from there. (Sorry to the boys, your restroom looks at the parking lot apparently) Will be coming back, this is a gem.

The cons: my server, the food was ok, being ignored by staff for 5 plus minutes. Breakfast: coffees were good. The food tasted ok, but the hash browns had an old oil taste that lingered way too long. Both of us didn't feel great the rest of the day. Server was there to do her job. Dinner: specialty drink was amazing. Clam chowder had a too think paste taste. Steak bites were good, yet nothing I would be craving to eat again. The cheesecake- delicious! Server, again just there to do her job. No personality. She forgot part of my order and I had to remind her. (She did the same thing with the other table) Morning coffee bar: it opens an hour before the restaurant. stood there for 5 plus minutes, one person filling water pitchers for the soon to be open restaurant that said hi, but that's it. No, let me find someone for you. They will be right back.... There were sugar packet wrappers so I know someone did get a coffee.... I watched a girl get dropped off for work out front, then when she came up with her jacket still on she stopped and asked if I needed help. Super nice, made my coffee.... It was super confusing and if it wasn't for that employee coming in who knows if I ever would have gotten my morning coffee.

As you drive up you cannot help to notice the red building with a classic Old Cafe sign off HWY 101. They have a unique story, the original Otis Cafe was located in the City of Otis in the 1920s, named after the Post masters nephew. They have ample parking in their own private lot, as you walk up to the building and the main entrance, they have outdoor seating. Key finding, depending the time you arrive you may be waiting a bit to get in, they seem to be very popular with good reason. Once inside you will notice a very open seating area, with various booths and table seating options. They make fresh bread, we could not resist we took home a loaf of homemade bread it was very tasty. The staff greet you as you walk in, it has a very friendly vibe, the staff cycle through the building repeatedly checking in with its customers throughout your visit. The food options are plentiful, also note their portions are huge. We finally decided on an Omelette with veggies and ham, with a side of bacon and German potatoes with wheat sourdough. We also ordered the French toast with Fruit, an egg, another huge portion of food ample for two or three. The food was served warm, to our options and extremely tasty. The bacon was huge, well cooked, the Omelette and potatoes were perfectly cooked, I really enjoyed the Omelette and bacon. We are still working through the French toast, we took 3/4 of it home with us. Some recommendations, review the menu, be ready to order they are fairly busy and turn tables quickly. This is a must try spot during your next visit to Lincoln City.

The food is good and very plentiful. Way too much if you are traveling and can't take half your meal home. So we enjoyed their food, but felt bad that we couldn't eat it all and it had to be wasted ( we were unable to take leftovers with us). The pancakes are enormous and tasty. Loved the chorizo scramble (they recommend the molasses bread but we weren't wild about it). The eggs Benedict ( southern style) had a large biscuit, sausage and egg. Heeping helping of hash browns. All good but could use more gravy as it got a bit dry. Would like the option of two over easy eggs which would bring a little more moisture to the dish. Overall we were happy with breakfast, but a bit too full.

She ordered the salmon and chips with clam chowder, and I got the prawns and chips with clam chowder. The clam chowder was honestly really good -- flavorful, not overly thick, and packed with a good amount of clams. Definitely tasted much better than canned chowder considering this was my first time actually having it not in a can. The prawns and chips were also solid. The prawns weren't heavily battered, and the fries were crispy on the outside while still soft inside. Portions for both the chowder and entrées felt generous for the price. Service was friendly and quick. We were seated within about 5 minutes, had a little time to look over the menu, and our server came by shortly after. He gave a great recommendation for my friend's meal as well. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Saturday evening, but we got there right before the bigger dinner rush. Indoor seating filled up quickly, while the outdoor area was quieter because of the wind. Overall, it was a pleasant stop with tasty food, quick service, and a good variety of options, including drinks.
