What I would not have guessed before walking in, New Atlas is super clean and nice. Though it's old, you would never know it. The bar's front facade is classic. Walk under the awning/sign and through the front door, past the gaming room, and into the main bar. The bar itself is to your left, and there are several high top tables to the left. The floor is a beautiful well-worn wood, and the ceiling is painted, maybe copper, tile. Of course, there dead animals all over the place, and that is just cool. No idea how they keep them free of dust, but they do. The actual bar is absolutely incredible. It's what every bar should look and feel. The bar has a dark wooden bar top with a small rail resting on a bar face with decorated dividers and a slow curve. Below the bar face is a large box footrest. Now for my favorite part, the bar face. There are three beautiful arches, divided by columns and topped with a header, with intricate details. Within the arches are mirrors, the way it should be so you can see people behind you. Beyond the bar area is a game room with a pool table and video games. The service was super friendly, and I only wish more people knew to get off the interstate and visit this awesome bar.
