My group was playing shuffleboard in the game area, and after I won a round, I let out a quick cheer because I was excited. It was a brief moment and nothing excessive. The manager, Troy, immediately came over and scolded me about a "no screaming" policy. I understand businesses have rules, but the way he handled it was unnecessarily rude and embarrassing. We were respectful adults enjoying ourselves, not causing a disturbance. What made it especially disappointing was that this happened during my birthday celebration and my first trip to Montana. A polite reminder would have been more than enough. Instead, I was left feeling unwelcome for simply having a good time. I do want to recognize our server, Janine, who was wonderful and provided excellent service throughout the evening. Walk under the awning/sign and through the front door, past the gaming room, and into the main bar. The bar itself is to your left, and there are several high top tables to the left. The floor is a beautiful well-worn wood, and the ceiling is painted, maybe copper, tile. Of course, there dead animals all over the place, and that is just cool. No idea how they keep them free of dust, but they do. The actual bar is absolutely incredible. It's what every bar should look and feel. The bar has a dark wooden bar top with a small rail resting on a bar face with decorated dividers and a slow curve. Below the bar face is a large box footrest. Now for my favorite part, the bar face. There are three beautiful arches, divided by columns and topped with a header, with intricate details. Within the arches are mirrors, the way it should be so you can see people behind you.
