Inside ambiance, an old Pizza Hut converted, painted and decorated to look like a Mexican restaurant. Seating is comfortable. The food is good, lightly seasoned. The salsas are decent. Service is adequate. My wife had a tamale and enchilada: both covered in a mild red chili sauce. The tamale was very good. I had the relleno, added a taco. The relleno was filled with well melted cheese and covered with a tomato-based sauce. The taco big and packed with beef and cheese. Lots of hot salsa made it better. read more

Tacos are meh. Fajitas are really good though asked for queso sauce but the guy forgot about us. This place has some nice music going so that's cool smells like a bathroom though. read more

Everything was great! From the food and margaritas to the fun and friendly staff. Don't make it to Houston Mo. often, but go when in town.

I eat at Cozumel's every time I come to Houston, Missouri. The food is very good. The staff is attentive, kind, and appear to love their jobs working with people, which makes eating there feel like an at home experience. They provide chips and salsa to the table and for some reason I always dive into that salsa like it's my last meal. Yuuuuuum! Pretty much everything I've tried there has been amazing. The patrons or towns people who I've seen in there are usually nice and friendly. It's a comfortable place to eat, and relax. This restaurant can accommodate very large groups and is made for families including small children. read more

Haven't ate here in a loooooong time but I still wanted to put my two cents in :D I used to eat here a lot actually and I've never had an order where I didn't like it. The servers are friendly and there's quite a bit of selection in the menu. If I'm in the area I would definitely eat here again. read more

I'm here for the chips and dip! If you love thin tortilla chips this is the place for you. The salsa is mild to medium and has good flavor. Ate here couple times and can't say the food is bad at all. The restaurant has been clean at each visit and had good service. read more

I eat at this place all the time and the service is always prompt. I have also never been disappointed with my food. They updated their menu over last year and made a few new dishes that are delicious. They offer generous portions especially for the price. Mexican style rice that is moist and fluffy with refried beans absent the tin can flavor found in so many other venues. Awesome staff, friendly staff.. Ate on cinco de mayo, and i had the greatest food ever. It was busy but the waiter was friendly tried his best mixing english and spanish. He kept the chips and salsa coming while waiting for the food. read more

Must have been an off day. I was seated and i gave my order. Had to get up and get silverware and napkin. Got my food and ticket was put on my table at the same time. Had to get up and ask for refill. Ready to go had to get up and ask for to go box. No service at all....mentioned it when I left and nobody seemed to care. Disappointed read more

Anytime we want Mexican, especially for a birthday we come here. And the watiers are really nice and treat you like family. They even have our order memorized. The chips and Salsa is some of the best I've had from Mexican restaurants and I always order Texas nachos. They are really good and I always have left overs. read more
