After walking the property and speaking to Jose, we chose Right Choice Trees, LLC. Jose is very knowledgeable and steward of the land and trees. Their pricing was very reasonable and constant communication made it easy. Jose's crew was very professional and personable. They were very efficient. They also took care of some extra trimming that was overlooked in the original quote. Their cleanup was great! It's really hard to find a crew like this today. I'm glad we did. Don't hesitate. We called…read morearound to various lawn mower repair people and chose them because they would look at our mower for just a $20 down payment. Because we're on a tight budget, we told them clearly to call us before doing any repairs. We felt that if it was more than $40, we would be able to do it ourselves. Shoot, for $40, I might start my own lawn mower repair business. A few hours later, they called and said our mower was ready... this might have been our first warning sign that the guys were so "not" busy that they could sit around in lawn chairs waiting for the next lawn mower to arrive. When they called, they added that it would be $50. We asked them why they didn't call us first and they went into a long, rambling talk about what all they did to it and why the mower was in better condition, etc. You would think they were giving a "Show & Tell" on lawn mower repair to a group of distracted 5 years olds as the rambling lasted about 2 minutes but really only consisted of telling us they changed the oil, replaced the gas, and sharpened the blades. Every time we tried to respond, he'd cut us off and his voice would get louder. And exactly how much was it out of the $50 to sharpen my blades? Nevermind... I didn't ask that. I didn't care. We tried to explain that we were not questioning their work but simply felt they should own up to their mistake and apologize but there would be none of that. Instead, he threatened to sell our lawn mower in 15 days if we didn't pick it up and pay the $50. Later in the conversation, he also added that the fee would go up by $3 per day from here on out. We were perplexed by his attitude towards us and asked why he would not simply apologize and he claimed that we never told him this information and that they don't call unless its at least $75! This was not true. We actually had them repeat to us when we dropped it off that they understood to call us (kind of like when you're talking to a 5 year old). We told him that because of how he treated us, we'd tell our neighbors not to use him and he said he did not care that he didn't really need their business. By now, he was having a full-fledged 5 year old tantrum and we were still not sure why he was the one upset and why we were suddenly finding all of this quite funny. And my guess from the looks of this place is that he really may not care about the money. In fact, $50 may have been enough for him to close down the shop and go celebrate for the rest of the day. I'm guessing Dukes of Hazzard reruns where he roots for Boss Hogg. So in conclusion, there are a lot of lawn mower repair people... do yourself a favor and find someone honest!

I will warn everybody I know to stay away from using this company for a patio installation. After…read moreredoing part of this patio twice, it is still not level. The stones are loose and a trip hazard. Broken stones were installed in the patio. They replaced one but broke another one which has still not been replaced a month later. They used cinder blocks to make a retaining wall and tried to tell me it would be smooth and it would not be obvious it was cinder blocks. However, they cut one so that the hole is in the side of the wall. They have done nothing to "fix" anything as they said they would. When I told Gary, the owner, how unhappy I was with everything, he was genuinely shocked and acted like it was just my opinion. He said anybody else that saw it would think it was a great job. They wanted payment before they were finished and still owe me a refund for overpayment. I've paid them thousands of dollars but will also have to pay somebody else to fix all of their mistakes.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars after dealing with them for 36 days to complete a job that…read moreshould have taken 3 to 4 days. They began work on 4/15/22. First the landscape river rock was delivered in 3 pallets and parked in my driveway for several days before they started the work. This created a huge mess with mud and debris. Not to mention having to navigate around them with our cars to get in and out of the driveway. They ran out of rock and waited days to bring in more. 12 days from start of the project they came to lay sod. My front yard is not large by any means... They would lay a small section of the yard, run out of sod and we would not see them for a couple of days before they would come back and lay another small section and leave. After 7 days of having a partially finished yard, they finally brought in enough sod to finish what should have taken 1 day to complete. Pics attached. On the 18th day 5/3/22, the owner (Abhi) text me that they were "finished" and was coming that evening to do a final inspection. I pointed out areas that needed to be corrected, to which he agreed would be fixed. He made me aware they had "misquoted" the job. He admitted that it was "his fault" as he was the one that initially quoted me the price. I paid him the remainder of the money we agreed upon. On 5/6/22, Abhi came to meet me at 8am and told me that the issues would be resolved by 5/10/22. Since they had not made good on any timeline they provided, I gave him until 5/12/22 to have a couple of days grace. They show on 5/12 to "fix" the problems and installed a completely different rock around the unfinished mailbox and a landscape stone that was a different color that the rest. He also told me they would fix the dead patches of sod. Pics attached. I reached out to Abhi again 5/12/22 about the issues and he told me he was aware and it would be fixed. He said that he would get a stone mason to fix the landscape borders and buy the correct river rock to finish the mailbox area. I come home Thursday 5/19/22 to find they are taking landscape rock from my existing landscape and transferring it to the unfinished mailbox area. They also used a hammer to break the landscape border instead of using a saw to fit it properly. Pics attached. They leave on 5/19 without being corrected. I reach out to Abhi again on 5/19/22, that is when I realized who I was dealing with. He became very condescending and made it a point to tell me he lost money on my job. On 5/20/22, I tried to call and text Abhi to see if they were coming to resolve the issues. He sent someone out that used glue to fix the stones around the mailbox and cut the landscape stone on my front porch which was loud and created a ton of concrete dust on my front porch. My dogs were frightened by this barking and yelping. I took a video and pics. Pics attached. I have hired a different company to fix the sod that needs repaired/replaced. I will hire a company to repair the mailbox landscape and correct the end stone and consulting with an attorney that specializes in Civil Litigation to find out our next steps. Steer clear of Destined Landscapes!!!
