The lady's in there are absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond for our family today. Not only did they do amazing with our autistic son but our car broke down in parking lot and it was 101 degrees out. They brought us water and a popsicle for our boy. Even told security so they would not tow our car. Absolutely amazing. The Dr came in and was able to.diagnose a kicking screaming kid in a matter of seconds. Wonderful man. read more

The wait was long but the service was excellent! I was sent home with an information packet which I appreciate as my memory is horrible. I was told what to do if it got worse which it hasn't so far. Dr and staff were helpful and kind. I used the save my time feature so I expected to not wait so long. However from the time I arrived (a couple minutes early) until I left was over 90 minutes. Once the dr came in my room it was quick and easy. He was informative and patient with me as I tried to explain. He reassured me that it probably want kidney stones but told me what to do if the pain got worse and how that would all work. As someone with anxiety I really appreciated that! Turns out it's just a UTI that may be in the kidneys and the medicine and fluids are already helping about 15 hours later. Staff was friendly. The wait time was my only issue but I think you will find that anywhere. I am from out of state visiting here and our local urgent care usually has a half hour wait and around an hour from arrival to leaving. In a tourist town I should've expected a longer wait. read more

It is not ideal to have to go to the doctor while on vacation, but if you do I recommend this urgent care! The staff really took the time to explain everything so well and took the time to really figure out what was going on. There is a pharmacy right across from the urgent care that got my prescription filled before I walked out of the door. This was the best health care facility I've ever visited. Anywhere. Period. If you get sick in Branson, do not go anywhere else. I'd had this glorious dream vacation to Branson planned for months (I work at a nonprofit, ok? You have your dreams. I have mine.) Unfortunately, I came down with what I thought was the flu a few days before the big trip. Stubborn idiot that I am, I decided to go ahead and try to live my dream of kettle corn and banjo jamborees. Big mistake. By the end of the four hour drive from St. Louis, it was clear I needed to go to Urgent Care. But where? Were there urgent care facilities in Branson? Would I need to buy a dinner package? Would Yakov Smirnof give me a shot with a comically huge needle? After a quick Yelp search, I found Skaggs. I was a little nervous because it wasn't called Saint Skaggs Mercy or Skaggs International Hospital or something, but my 103 fever forced me to take a chance. I went at 8 am on Saturday morning and was taken back right away. No paperwork. No hoops to jump through. And everyone working was so incredibly nice. Nice counts for everything when you feel terrible. The nurse, Amy, was quite possibly the kindest woman I've ever met. I immediately wanted her to win the lottery. She was very warm and made me feel a little less icky by complimenting the shoes I had on. It's like, yeah you haven't had the energy to shower in two days, but girl your shoes are lookin' GOOD. I really appreciated her. The only thing better than Amy was my doctor. Dr. Goodwin is the director of the facility and I can say, without hesitation, that he is the best doctor I've ever seen. If you can request doctors, go with him. He listened to my lungs and discovered my flu was actually pretty serious pneumonia. He ordered a chest x-ray and bloodwork and I thought "Great. This will take forever." But I had both done in under 20 minutes. Crazy. You do NOT get that kind of service in St. Louis. I got my prescriptions and was out the door with the instruction to absolutely stop back in the next morning so the doctor could listen to my lungs again. When I went back the next day, it was just as good as the first visit. Moral of the story: I shouldn't have tried to make the trip in my condition, but at least I got great medical attention. This is a top-notch facility and if I could pack up the whole Urgent Care and move them to St. Louis I would. read more

But I sit in waiting for 3 hours to have a doctor to say rash just watch it, I'm trying to recover from cellulitis and cat switch fever, so I was concerned, I told him I thought I had a fever, did he take my temp ??NO he didn't !!! I took my wife to the cox emergency room connected to their urgent care facility. When we arrived we checked in with reception. We were asked what we needed by the attending receptionist Michelle B. Due to my wife being in sever pain I answered Michelle's questions and my wife finished the question of where it hurt. When my wife started to answer her question. Michelle took an attitude toward me of " this is not for you, why are you talking" I told Michelle I certainly didn't look like a Megan since my wife is standing next to me clearly in pain. Once the paperwork was completed she told.us to come back but didn't bother to guide us to the proper door. So when we turned towards the wrong door she snapped at us and said this way in a very condacending & irritated tone. We were then greeted by the triage nurse, he was more pleasant to deal with. Once the initial readings were taken my wife was directed into a exam Bay to have an EKG completed. Afterwards we were directed to wait in the waiting room. We headed back to the door we came in from. The door did not open. We asked Michelle how we get back out she just hit the button and didn't bother to acknowledge that we were even there. All in all it was a very disappointing experience as far as the dealings we had with Michelle. The overall experience otherwise was good. The rest of the staff was pleasant to deal with. Now I understand everyones perception of things differ for everyone. And the job of the ER receptionist is not easy by any means. However if you do not have the patience and understanding to deal with the public especially people that are in pain, then they need to find a different line of work or a position that keeps them behind the lines of the publics eye. read more

Went in because my knee was the size of a softball. Didn't want to go in in the first place but was in pain. After an XRAY and no obvious signs of a bone fracture, I was referred to find another physician and given a prescription for Ultram. After filling the prescription I realized what it was before I took any, I called the PA back to tell her I could not take Ultram due to side effects (migraines). I was told to take OTC Ibuprofen. Really? I paid all that money for you to tell me to take Ibuprofen? They made me feel like an addict trying to get a fix. So I sit here still in pain. Taking Ibuprofen like I was before I paid for a "professional" to tell me to keep taking it. Oh and I missed work to be here. Frustrated read more

Walked in today and was greeted with a friendly face and very quickly checked in. I was called to a room within 10 min of checking in. Once in a room the nurse followed in and asked the basic questions she was very friendly. The doctor knocked on the door within 5 minutes of the nurse leaving. He spoke very well, seemed concerned about my symptoms and took his time checking me. Just moving to Branson in the last 2 months I have yet to find a primary physician. The only reason they got 1 star is because i couldn't leave anything less. I went into this facility on the advice of a retired nurse who took one look at my forehead from a picture i sent her. She told me to get a urgent care facility immediately!!!!! She said you have shingles and it very close to your eye. I did not have any choice where to go in Branson. They were the only ones open at that time. Long story short, the incompetent and inept person who saw me diagnosed it as something else. Put me on the wrong medication, and I got Shingles in my eye. I don't know yet about permanent damage to my eye but my eye doctor is not very happy either with the medical treatment I received at this facility. BE VERY CAREFUL if you go here. If you have any doubts go to another care provider. It you have to go to Springfield. Not only was this person inept and incompetent at the Urgent Care Facility, the patient advocate people Lie to protect them. I have the letter to prove it. BEWARE this place read more
