The setting does half the work. Evan did the other half without making it look like work. He showed up with the right energy -- not the fake "how are we doing tonight, folks?" energy, the actual useful kind. Knew the menu, didn't recite it like a hostage. Recommended the trout and a cocktail that wasn't the first thing on the list designed to extract $18 from tourists. Both landed. When something needed adjusting he handled it before we had to flag anyone down like we were trying to land a plane. Busy rooftop, people waiting, drinks flying. He still hit the table at the right intervals instead of disappearing for 20 minutes or hovering like a drone. That's rarer than the view. Food was solid rooftop American. Drinks were properly made. Service was the reason it felt like a good night instead of "pretty view, whatever." Ask for Evan. Tip him like you mean it. The mountain view is free. Competent service is not.

The capitals settle it. You are up. You are on the roof. Nobody is confused. I ordered There's a Lettuce Wrap!, exclamation point and all, which arrives as seven honey-soy glazed fried chicken wraps. Seven is an odd number to commit to, and I respected it. The chicken was crisp, the glaze landed somewhere between sweet and salty, and the lettuce made me feel like I'd ordered something light. I would eat it again tomorrow. The Reedy River and the Blue Ridge sit out past the railing doing their scenic work, and plenty of rooftops figure the skyline can cover for a mediocre kitchen. This one didn't need the cover. Mrs. W. was along, and UP earned her approval, which I never assume. She has standards and they are not up for negotiation, so watching a rooftop restaurant clear them felt like watching a long shot come in. The elevator ride back to the ground floor felt like a demotion.

It is found tucked behind the building with only a small, letter-sized paper sign marking the entrance. No flashy signage, no obvious storefront, which adds to the appeal if you're into that kind of hunt. Walking up to it late at night can be a little intimidating but it is well lit which I greatly appreciated! Once inside, the space is dimly lit and small, which makes for a genuinely intimate setting. I'd say it's good for a quieter, more conversational vibe rather than a loud night out. We went with the bartender's choice: pick a base liquor, then two words to describe what you're after. I went with vodka and "slightly sweet, refreshing," for $18. The bartender nailed the brief but it wasn't a drink I'd think about again or specifically order by name. Solid execution, forgettable flavor. Service was the real standout. Our bartender was excellent at walking us through the concept and translating vague requests into something that actually worked. That, plus the atmosphere, is enough to bring me back to see what else is on the menu since we made it there just in time for last call so I ended up only having one drink.

Dennis & Logan are two of the dopest bartenders out there who also know how to make a killer drink. I love coming here for Dennis' expert take on an old fashioned, which he has spent a lot of time and effort refining. And I don't kid when I say that this is Greenville's best old fashioned. The attitude behind the bar is very laidback, which will likely offput people expecting a pretentious, posh atmosphere. But if you want a drink made by people who care about what goes in your glass, trust me, pay Rey's a visit.

One bartender (with a nose piercing) yelled at my brother-in-law for placing a small piece of paper behind the bar because there was no trash can near the dart area. When my brother asked if he would have preferred it be thrown on the floor, the bartender replied, "Actually, yes." It was a clear no-win situation. The overall tone from the staff felt aggressive and confrontational. Another bartender (with longer hair) made a comment to our group saying, "If that bitch blows her whistle again," using derogatory language toward women in our party. That level of disrespect is unacceptable. Because of the staff's behavior, we took our entire group, and our business, elsewhere and will not be returning. This experience left a very bad impression, and management should be aware of how their bartenders are representing the establishment.

Right by Fluor Field with a fun, lively vibe. We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.

I have only one prior experience in playing mini golf, wasn't good at it, but I came to be supportive and shoot content. We didn't know what we were doing, which did impact the experience as we didn't get much direction after purchasing our tokens to play. We did ask a staff member since we were completely mini golf-illiterate who helped. My sister was under the impression that we would have all the holes to ourselves, but that was just us being inexperienced and not knowing how things worked. When we got towards the end, there were a lot more people playing, so we didn't finish because the area was packed. What I loved the most about the experience were all the different scenes or holes. My favorite was the Wizard of Oz because of my love for Wicked. I gave the business a five-star rating because the venue was very camera-worthy, colorful, inviting and clean. My lack of knowledge on how to play has nothing to do with the venue's offerings, staff, etc. If I had better skills, the experience would've been top tier.

I ordered the wings, hamburger egg rolls, and a Coke, while my daughter had a flatbread that was more like a delicious personal pizza. Everything was flavorful, generously portioned, and satisfying enough that I happily took leftovers home for later. The ordering process is simple--you place your order at the register, receive a table number, and the staff brings your food to you. One unique feature is their self-serve beer wall, where you can sample different beers and pay only for the amount you pour. Great food, a fun atmosphere, and a unique experience make this a place worth visiting.
