Cowboy Cab gets 3 stars from us for a couple reasons. We LIKED how the driver came into the airport to pick us up and was patient with us while we installed our baby's carseat. She was very nice and enjoyed talking a lot about the area as we drove in. Our family who uses this company a lot have all had great, friendly, prompt drivers and are always happy with the service. We couldn't, however, get over the fact that our driver TEXTED while driving, a LOT. My husband who was in the front seat actually offered to help her by saying "Would you like me to do something on your phone for you while you drive us?" and she replied with "No that's ok, I'm a pro.". While doing this, she wasn't exactly driving like a pro so it did make us a little nervous but other than that she was really, really nice! I was on an extremely delayed flight, and Rod (owner) was already waiting at the airport when we arrived to pick up a fare who had called ahead. It was 2 AM, and he'd been waiting, no doubt, for hours. Every other cab was packed. Rod had also already agreed to take a second person, but when he discovered I didn't have a way home, he agreed to take me as well, despite the fact that my destination was way on the other side of town. He probably got three hours of sleep that night, but that's just how Rod does business. He takes care of people. read more

As with Sharon F.'s review, no one ever showed up to pick us up. We scheduled a pickup for 5:30 in the morning to make a 7:00 a.m. flight. We called at 5:30 and were told that a driver had been emailed with our information for the pickup. They gave us the driver's phone number. We called him about 5 times with no answer. Called back to the main number and the lady said she didn't know what happened. She said she would try to find someone else who could pick up us. By that point it was 5:50 and we didn't have any more time to wait. We had to wake up a relative to take us. We made it to the airport at 6:30, just in time to catch our flight, no thanks to Cowboy Cab. I do not recommend using this company unless you want to roll the dice on catching your flight. read more

My parents on 8/7/13 was driving my sister and I to Jackson Hole Airport when we found ourselves stranded on route 191 in the Bridger-Teton National Forest with a car that had broken down. My sister and I were in jeopardy of not making our flights. Cowboy Cab coordinated two pickups for us in order to make sure we made our flights. They went to great lengths to come get us in the middle of nowhere for which we were so thankful. 5 stars for Cowboy Cab and highly recommended! read more

I just read all of Cowboy Cab's Yelp reviews and I wish I'd read them before booking a cab, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP! This is clearly a pattern with them. I booked a 5:30am cab for a 7:00am flight and it's pretty hard to find another taxi at that early hour. DO NOT USE THIS TAXI SERVICE! read more

I call Cowboy Cab every time I need a ride to the airport - 6 times in the last year - and they always pick me up on time. (They typically arrive at my house in Wilson 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled pick up time so they're ready and waiting for me.) The drivers are professional, polite and don't text or talk on the phone while driving. On top of that, every driver I've had has been a real local who has lived in Jackson Hole for 20+ years. And, unlike some of the other cab companies here, they don't try to tack on phony extra fees for bags, traveling with pets, etc. I wouldn't used any other cab company. read more

I often commute from/to Jackson Hole Airport to/from Victor, ID. I regularly use Cowboy Cab. Rod is so knowledgeable about the area, the history, and the people. Rod loves people and he really enjoys sharing his passion about the Greater Yellowstone/Teton area. I've also ridden with Mike who lives near me, and Tony. They're all good people. The price may seem high but that's the rate. Stops are miles apart and in any large city with traffic, you'd pay similar prices and never walk away from the ride like you have a new friend. Cowboy Cab drivers are nice and they're careful. That's why I hire them. read more

I wouldn't take a chance on relying on Cowboy Cab to get you to the airport or anywhere if you need to be there by a certain time. When booking a trip to the airport, timing is everything. Dispatch got the time wrong and our cab showed 30 minutes late and then our cab driver didn't know where she was going. We missed our flight and spent 6 hours waiting for another. What a shame to leave such a beautiful place with such a sour taste!! Remember, when in Jackson, ANYONE BUT COWBOY CAB!!! read more

I suppose Cowboy Cab is fine unless you ACTUALLY NEED TO BE somewhere at a certain time. For instance this morning my daughter was told the taxi would be there for her to make her plane. After waiting and waiting and waiting and the company saying, "oh we'll be there.." -- well -- they never showed up. And they stopped answering the phone. And she had to ask a neighbor to rush her to the airport. So all thumbs down on Cowboy Cab. read more
