There is an elevator for those with strollers, wheelchairs, scooters or mobility challenges who can't do the stairs. I spent my time in the adults only area and practically had the space all to myself. There's an LED screen where the main pool is that plays music videos from a variety of artists. Once you get hungry from all that activity, Decibels has good and drinks. There's also a full bar in the adults only area. It was a perfect way to relax and wind down from a very BUSY conference. Wish I could've spent more time there! The SoundWaves store has a variety of items such as swimwear, towels, hats, sunscreen and toiletries.

It's quite a nice little park with a pedestrian bridge going over the Barren River. It seems to be situated along part of the city-wide bike trail, so I'm excited for warmer weather to take the bikes out for a spin and stop back by! Not busy at all. Negative: Might not want to go too late at night. Homeless obviously live there and wash their clothes. You find their clothes hanging all over and some vehicles park below bridge. There was one car that looked like they were packing up their kayak, but another two cars of people hanging out looking like they were up to no good in the woods, but did eventually leave. Overall: I will visit this spot many times in the future. It's peaceful and wonderful just walking the bridge overlooking the view.

Moss Wright Park may be one of my favorite parks in the Nashville Metro area! Tucked away north of…read morethe city in Goodlettsville, Moss Wright Park has all the quintessential offerings of a city park plus a few extras! The park itself is huge covering close to 150 acres, and features multiple sports complexes for different sports including baseball, football, soccer and even volleyball! In addition there is a paved walking trail that stretches over 3 miles from entry to exit, and gets even longer if you walk the parking lots that connect the two! The walking path is one of my favorites as it is fairly scenic for a park walking path with portions covered, shrouded in trees and alongside the creek, while the other part is open-air surrounding the soccer fields and dog park, but also still next to the creek. There are also gazebos, benches, picnic tables and playgrounds scattered throughout. The above are things that you naturally find at local parks, but a bit upgraded I would say...and in addition Moss Wright has a fairly newly constructed outdoor gym spot to help with a quick circuit workout. Lastly, this park is full of history from the Bowen House to Mansker's Station plus this park is location to the Goodlettsville Welcome/Visitors Center. Parking is plentiful. No matter which entrance you come in through or what area of the park you are after, parking is available. The park and all the facilities including the restrooms are very well kept from a cleanliness and condition standpoint. Overall, Moss Wright Park is a favorite of mine...funny enough, I am headed there to get a few miles in after submitting this review!

Brought my sister and our kiddos here to play a few times over the last couple of weeks (ages 7, 2.5, 1.5, and 4 months.) Two areas for playing- one side for toddlers and the other for older kids who can climb without needing help. There is a basketball court, pavilion, restrooms, plenty of sitting areas and benches. The park as a little creek running through it with 2 bridges on either end, and a walking path that encircles the whole thing. The creek isn't very deep, maybe knee high? So no scary situations if you let your little one wander around it. My oldest (7) spent the majority of his time at the creek playing with rocks and sticks. (Nature lover at heart ) Perfect little park for strolling through a nice park and letting kiddos run around, or having a little picnic on a sunny day!

We attended a men's basketball game, but women play there too as well as volleyball. This was our first time visiting Western Kentucky University. I'd recommend getting a red towel and taking in a game when you're on campus. Concession stands have regular game day snacks, with free refills on popcorn. AND THEY SELL COLD BEER! Our NCAA conference doesn't allow alcohol sales at college games. We were surprised, but at $5 each, we saw nobody overindulge. The Hilltoppers put on a great show, a nail biter at the very end. Parking garage is conveniently located right next door. Or you can park elsewhere on campus, take in the beautiful grounds, stop at the kissing bridge and maybe even spot a white squirrel. Take in the athletic action if you get the chance. Go Big Red!
