I live in the Bellevue area and they picked my chair up at my home and delivered it for $25 each way. Another upholstery company just a few miles away was going to charge me $85 each way. Wow. Anna at Covington Upholstery and her son Bryan did a stellar job on my vintage chair from 1949. Bryan rebuilt the rocking feature of the chair while Anna did a great job of recovering it. We purchased all 8.25 yards of fabric available because it's a big, overstuffed chair and Anna was able to cut it in such a way that she had enough left over to make an ottoman for me. Her son Bryan will build the framework. When she brought it back to me, the original seat with springs just didn't feel right. No problem. She brought in samples of foam, took the seat back to her workshop, took out the springs and replaced it with dacron-wrapped high density foam that looks and feels great. I can't wait for my Aunt Roberta to see it. She originally gave me the chair 40 years ago. Thank you Anna and Bryan. read more
