So when it came time to remodel our downstairs bathroom, we didn't hesitate to call him again. From the start, the demolition was done with incredible care and attention to detail. Dmitriy and his team then built a walk-in shower completely from scratch -- we didn't even use a pre-made one! Their precision and craftsmanship are truly amazing. They worked hard, starting early every morning and continuing through the late afternoon -- non-stop. They kept everything clean and organized each day, never leaving a mess, and were mindful not to block walkways. Everything was completed right on schedule. I also really appreciate how Dmitriy communicates. He responds to questions quickly and clearly, which makes the whole process smooth and stress-free. I've worked with several contractors over the years, and Dmitriy and his team are by far the best. I'll definitely be calling them for our next project. We highly recommend Dex Homes! This company came highly recommended on a FB group page. I received quotes from two other…read morecompanies to clean up and trim my overgrown hedge. Alejandro arrived on time for the estimate and provided a quote in a timely manner. The quote was about what I was expecting to pay, and close to what the other business quotes were. My hedge looks great, a natural trim, exactly what I wanted. The La Hermosa crew cleaned up so well that you can see my patchy grass and bare spots once hidden under the overgrown hedge and dead leaves. Once we get further into Spring, the grass will grow back. When Alejandro was here, I showed him other areas/projects I had, one of which was a bad hack job by a handyman who didn't exactly know how to lay or prep the space for heavy flagstones. Alejandro made no comment about the work or mess, he DID explain what he'd do to prepare the area. Which is what I had learned after the handyman's hack job; what should had been done. The quote to prep a new area for the flagstones, move/set the flagstones, then prep the old are where the flagstones were.. and add brick pavers to that new area was a more than fair price. Hopefully in about a month or so I will be sharing photos of my new brick patio and charming flagstone path.

He presents as well qualified, as though he can do the job, even if way beyond his skill set. He and his fellow crew, which varied frequently, were to replace a part of our roof and ceiling following a leak. 8 months later we are still correcting his mistakes and repairing damage. Eduardo does NOT: * Tell the truth * Work well with other contractors, even those who recommended him. * Provide accurate and reliable quotes, estimates with itemization. * Keep his word. Eduardo DOES: * Talk a good line * Argue * Cut corners to save a buck for himself * Whine * Want a good review on google. We hired Eduardo to repair roof and ceiling. Quote included tarping roof to prevent leaks. Roof leaked not once but three times, damaging plaster ceiling and wood trim. He showed no concern for two over 70-year-olds on roof in the dark and rain tarping roof with our own tarp, or to the damage to our house, plaster ceiling and floors and trim. His response: "It wasn't supposed to rain." We were left with cleaning up their mess and hiring a reliable contractor. Could go on with more details. Have plenty of pictures if needed. I thought it was small so I proceeded to put a large bucket underneath and left for a couple of hours. When I returned the bucket had overfilled and there was water on my kitchen floor!! I turned off the water and that helped a bit but it was still leaking. I called around and Eddie was able to come the same day because he just so happened to be in the area. He provided a free in-person estimate which seemed very fair. Especially given the fact that it was an emergency. The entire hot water valve needed to be replaced because it was so old. He immediately got to work and took a trip to Home Depot to grab the parts needed. Unfortunately, it also turned out that my dishwasher had the wrong type of water line so I approved for him to replace that as well. He took a second trip to Home Depot for that part! The job was done on Tuesday and I have no complaints. The sink is no longer leaking and my dishwasher now has a proper hose! Yay! Thanks again, Eddie! You are the goat!

Finding reliable, skilled contractors has always been a challenge. I needed my driveway redone, a skim coat applied to a retaining wall and stairs, and a new concrete parking strip. I got bids from four different companies. Alpha was the last one, and honestly, I expected them to be the most expensive based on the reviews and the professionalism of Alberto Jr.--and I mean that as a compliment. He was incredibly professional, sharp, and had just graduated from the Foster School of Business. This guy is going places. When their bid came back, they weren't the cheapest--but only a few hundred dollars off. I knew right away I wanted to go with them. They started the project within a week and even finished ahead of schedule. They delivered on every promise, showed up exactly when they said they would, and the crew was made up of true professionals. A really cool touch: Alberto's dad, Alberto Sr., is the owner and was on site every single day, working hands-on with the team. The work is absolutely gorgeous and far exceeded my expectations. So much so, I'm already getting a quote from them to replace the pavers inside my fenced yard. Do not hesitate for a second to go with Alpha Concrete. They are the real deal.

The team was respectful, kind, and appeared to have fun with each other. They also quickly identified a few problem areas we would run into and suggested solutions (a step to lower overall grade and a curb to retain some dirt). They worked quickly and got the job done well, what more can I say?
