That property fell through, but fast forward a few months, and they just finished a HUGE renovation on one of my investment properties in Hammond. They did a full gut / reno on a grimy 3 bed / 2 bath single family house. One contractor told me the work would take 8 weeks, but these guys finished it in under 5 weeks! There are many wonderful things I could say about them, but a few things that set them apart from other contractors: Speed (they work fast) and Dedication (their team works 6-7 days / week and start their days as early as 6am. They have been on my project site for 21 hours on some days to finish their work). I feel many contractors have pretty good general knowledge, but no one is as fast and dedicated as these guys. He was transparent, friendly and patient. What I was really impressed with, was how he kept referring to the shingles as "our" shingles (Ex. "We want to remove anything that can damage our shingles.") To me, it really highlighted the sense of ownership and accountability Pete dedicates to projects. He wants to deliver lasting quality to his clients. Pete ordered the materials we requested and his team went to work about a week later. While they were working, it began to rain heavily and we thought for sure the job would have to be postponed. But to our surprise, the crew waited out the rain under our carport and once it stopped, they climbed back up and started working again. They completed our main roof and garage in ONE day. Wow! I can't recommend Above All Construction enough. They treated our property with the utmost care, safely removing and disposing of multiple satellite dishes left on the roof by the previous owners, trimming branches that could harm our new shingles, reinstalling our string lights after they were finished, and even blowing our driveway clean. If it weren't for the new roof, it would be hard to tell that they were even there. That's how small a footprint they left.

I wasn't looking for a salesman (which I was getting a lot of in the interview process), I was looking for quality work. Jason has a team comprised of hard worker, a few happen to be family members so that's refreshing. Here's what I had done: - Remove old tub and repair rotted wood underneath - Install a new tub with new Subway tile surround - it turned out better than I imagined - Removed old toilets and replaced them with new ones - Replace old attic stairs and installed new ones - Paint my entire interior - I'm picky with paint and this didn't disappoint. They refer to one of the guys as "The Finisher" because he seemed to be meticulous with paint. Clever :) - Installed a security system (so don't try anything funny). They helped sync the App from my phone to the system as well which was a nice perk. - TV's mounted...and probably a few other things I've forgotten about... They tackled a lot of projects and managed to get it done in about a week (around the holidays no less). They are priced fairly and most importantly do really great work.

My December delivery was delayed because backsplash was damaged. January delivery: 1 cabinet was damaged and 1 cabinet was wrong. Erika was present for the delivery. Trinice, my salesperson, was also texted photos and taking care of it. February delivery: order paid in full for delivery. The wrong cabinet that was delivered in January was apparently not even addressed so the installer wouldn't install, the replacement cabinet is fine but the drawers don't fit and the countertop company won't measure until everything is installed. April: Trinice won't answer voicemails and emails. I'm approaching 9 weeks since the February delivery. This is a customer service nightmare which could have been resolved in the warehouse receiving department before it ever got to me.
