I am a big fan of the schooner salad, which I get without ham. They have baked potatoes as big as your head that are always cooked to fluffy perfection. It is small, so you may have to wait a few minutes, but it is definitely worth it. They have tables inside and outside. There's also bar seating available. The cocktails are delicious and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately, the customer service was a completely different experience. When I walked in and said I was there to pick up an order, the man and woman behind the bar looked at me strangely, whispered to each other, and then asked for my name. After confirming it, the gentleman only told me the total. No greeting, no smile, and I wasn't asked if I wanted to order a drink or anything else. When the woman handed me my food, I asked if I could have some ketchup. She responded with an attitude, saying, "There's some in the bag." I thanked her and left. When I got back to my work van, I opened the bag and found there was only one packet of ketchup. The food was excellent, but the service left me feeling very unwelcome. Based on how I was treated, I couldn't help but feel like I was being judged differently because of my ethnicity. I can't say for certain that was the reason, but that's honestly how the interaction made me feel. I hope management takes customer service seriously because everyone deserves to feel welcomed and treated with respect.

Attenhofer's is a stained glass studio that has been around for about 50 years. The current owner…read moreis Cynthia Courage. It is Cindy that we dealt with. She is an artist in her own right, doing both original art work as well as restoration of older pieces. (See some of the pictures I uploaded for her work.) She also does the mundane work of replacing cracked glass pieces. We have wooden entry doors with leaded beveled glass windows in which over the years several of the glass pieces have been cracked. It was something you could live with as they were small cracks lower on the doors, until this latest cracked piece. It was time to do something. We talked with Cindy and she said we had a choice, as she could come to the house and repair the doors in place or we could save the service fee and bring the doors to her. We decided to bring the doors to her. Each door took a day to repair. Cindy rebraced the windows in each door. They looked great when she was done. We were happy and I felt the price was fair.

I was involved in an accidental stained glass incident at my roommates apartment and I was lost when it came to what to do and how I could even go about fixing it. As soon as I stepped in the door at Attenhofers, I was met by the owner and her staff. They were BEYOND helpful. After talking to them, I felt like I had learned a lot about stained glass. And although they did not have the right sized replacement I was looking for, their advice and recommendations saved my behind indefinitely. Thank you all so much!

They needed minor repair and I wasn't sure if they were had any value at all. I brought them by their shop, not knowing if they would even look at them. The ladies were very knowledgeable and able to determine the approximate age of my item. They identified every type of glass used in my pieces. And pointed out a rare and valuable glass used. I learned that their maker was skilled and not a novice hobbyist. Still, I'm thinking... the pair had seen its better days. I was interested in selling the pair for what I thought was a good price, when the owner said she would buy them as is for more than my offer. She also explained, her intentions were to repair and refurbished them then sell them in her window for an even higher price. She gave me the option for the shop to repair them, (at a very low cost) and try to sell them myself at retail value in my online shop. Note: ACTUAL RETAIL VALUE WAS 10x GREATER THAN I EXPECTED. In addition to it all, the offer still stood for them to be purchased by the shop and be resold in the window if I was unable to sell them online. I give 5 STARS FOR EVERY CATEGORY BUSINESS COULD BE CONDUCTED!!! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, informative. Shop is clean, inviting, and uniquely charming.
