I walked in ready to spend money and not one person could be bothered to say hello. No greeting, no smile, nothing. The best part? I was just a few feet from another shopper. A sales guy goes straight to her and gives her the warm "How's your day and if I can help with anything?" treatment. Me? Apparently not worth a syllable. I turned around and left. This store won't see a penny from me EVER. If you want actual customer service, go to La Jolla or any other locations or just shop online. Otay Ranch has perfected the art of not giving a damn.

I did not find anything for the wedding but you best believe that I will be back again. The clothing is for all shapes and sizes. The clothing is very classy. Turns out the lady was actually the owner: Chea Dorsey. This place is truly a gem in the midst of beautiful Lemon Grove and I wish her much success. She also offers other services as well. Cute, cute, cute accessories (and very affordable) as well as cute clothing (that I haven't bought yet because I told her I need to lose 10 pounds first! :p). The best part? She does alterations and can find pretty much anything your fashionista heart desires. Oh, and you can drop off your dry-cleaning and she'll have that done for you also! So convenient! A couple days ago I went in with a Tadashi gown I'd been fortunate to purchase for half off at Nordstrom Rack. I thought I needed to have it taken up and inch or two so I could dance in it but she assured me that it didn't need to be altered (which was great because I've already spent too much getting ready for the event I'm wearing it to next weekend) and that it looked fantastic. I'd also mentioned body-slimming undergarments and she said I didn't need them. I love that she gave me an honest-once over rather than having me break out my wallet. It's for this reason that I'll be a faithful customer to the Mona Lisa Boutique...Where else can you get honesty at the expense of a sale? LOVE IT! Thanks Soheila!

I think I look Great in it, and there's even a place in back for my pony tail! She had to hunt up matching material for my hat (which I didn't even buy at Mona Lisa), and then be creative about actually making a hat bigger.
