Nothing exception to note, but since they deal with my eyes I take it very seriously, which is why I still come to Finegan even though I haven't lived in the area for over 7 years. We weren't brought back until 5:30 and no one stepped out to update us on a delay so we spent most of that hour anticipating being next only to have many people called in ahead of us. Once called in the doctor skeptically said he didn't need glasses and there was no reason for him to have trouble seeing the board or getting headaches. I could see my foster son was embarrassed by that type of reaction. I asked if it was related to color vision possibly and the doctor said no yet no one checked his color vision. We were self pay so I asked for that to be done since it's part of the exam. He hesitantly did it and said "See? I knew it would be normal" when it was not abnormal at all. He had already made the statement his vision is fine before actually doing the eye examination basing it solely off the initial eye focus machine the tech runs. It was just an overall apathetic eye examination lacking compassion and sincerity. I get that he has many patients in a row, but it's unfortunate he didn't take a minute to just hide his dislike for his repetitive job.

Most Horrible & Horrendous... but I had hope since my family/friends/colleagues know the area is…read moreevolving. I guess it's as you'd expect from a "super?"-store in Phillipsburg. Optometrists come & go AND Staffers are rude, cut you off without finishing your explanations/questions. This is under same District Manager so reflects management for Easton PA, Ledgewood & Princeton NJ. One day I returned and even with no lines and empty, staffers decided to dust/clean without caring/paying attention/listening and offering a sit-down for my glassware and contacts needs. I even had my glasses & contacts Info in front of me. Also they do not honor price matches from reputable websites/popular brands & companies except for 1-800-contacts even if many other Walmarts do. AND the glassware brands & selection here is very limited. I was extremely disappointed since I shop here regularly when traveling in/around town and the staff/customer service (even Walmart register staff here) and other places is exact opposite! Go figure!
