I recently…read moremoved from PA to NJ, and despite paying a high price of $126 for a simple, routine eye exam (even with my health insurance), the office is refusing to provide me with my Pupillary Distance (PD). This refusal effectively blocks me from ordering glasses online, forcing me to pay their high in-office prices ($475 for s simple pair) or take on a 5-hour round trip drive. When I called to request the PD, which is a standard measurement required for all online orders, I was told I must come in-person. This is unacceptable customer service, especially for a former patient who has moved. The office is deliberately withholding a critical piece of my health information to force me back into their physical location, which is 2.5 hours away. Prospective patients should be aware: This office practices poor transparency and will make it unnecessarily difficult and expensive for you to obtain affordable eyewear elsewhere. I do not recommend this practice." On top if it, I must also mention the lack of hygience, and care in this office. I had the worst experience during the texam, and the office is so outdated, and dirty. Please do not go to this office.

I always manage to squeeze a visit into a trip home. He had already made the statement his vision is fine before actually doing the eye examination basing it solely off the initial eye focus machine the tech runs. It was just an overall apathetic eye examination lacking compassion and sincerity. I even had my glasses & contacts Info in front of me. Also they do not honor price matches from reputable websites/popular brands & companies except for 1-800-contacts even if many other Walmarts do. AND the glassware brands & selection here is very limited. I was extremely disappointed since I shop here regularly when traveling in/around town and the staff/customer service (even Walmart register staff here) and other places is exact opposite! Go figure!
