We had a very disappointing experience with Johnson Tire & Auto in Springfield, GA…read more We brought our vehicle in because the lights were not working due to an electrical issue. Later we received a call saying the problem had been completely fixed. When we arrived, we paid for the repair and were about to leave when my husband decided to quickly check the lights before pulling out of the lot. They still were not working. He immediately went back inside to let them know the issue had not actually been fixed. Unfortunately, they refused to refund us even though the problem we paid to have repaired was clearly still there. So we ended up paying for a service that did not resolve the issue we brought the vehicle in for. I've honestly never experienced anything like this before. If a repair doesn't fix the problem, it seems reasonable that it should either be corrected or refunded. I wanted to share this experience so others are aware.

I bet everyone that owns a Jeep either knows James or has heard of him. One of my biggest fears about moving from GA to FL was having to find someone that I could trust to have the knowledge and work ethics that James Carr has. Before leaving GA I took Nadine to him and asked him to give her a complete checkup and he did. He explained everything he found and what he recommended be addressed immediately and what could be addressed down the road. I trusted James completely and didn't wanna worry about anything down the road and gave him the go ahead and addressed everything. They said oh the clear might have shrunk. i left it there to fix the issue. i went home and looked over the receipt for the insurance company and it had on there that they "fixed" the fender and not replace as they said they did. so they ordered a new fender and new emblem because they messed that up repairing the fender. Came back again to get my vehicle after they said it was done. The fender didn't line up with the headlight my antenna was not on the vehicle they put a deep mark on the passenger rear door when they were buffing the blended clear. They left a large sanding disc in the door jam they ran the buffer into the rubber window trim leaving a mark on it. and yes even more issues. i dropped the truck off 2 more times for them to repair the damage they had done. It's still not right. One employee i spoke to there was rude and very defensive but yet another employee admitted and acknowledged the issues that came from the work that was done on my truck. You would think after i called them out on the first botched repair and not replacing my fender they would make a better effort at getting it right. Nope , they didn't.

The best part of a trip is always when you see a gas price that you can be happy with. The driveup was clean no nails or excess oil on the ground, near the pump area. Watch as you drive this direction and compare prices just to feel better that you didn't just take my word for it. Then let's see if the prices being low was an anomaly or this really is their aim. Heck if I had the best prices around I would have signage or commercials letting people know from miles around that they need to visit my station. Maybe this review will be the sound off that they need to invite more people to come take in the savings. Your money, spend it elsewhere and enjoy the savings whilst you can.

Disappointed in my experience here. They consistently promised to have my car done but…read moreconsistently failed to have it ready. Given that I live hours away from the shop, they did a poor job communicating the frequent disappointing news that my car was still... not... ready. For 15 FREAKING days. When we called for updates they made no attempt to hide the fact that I (their paying customer held hostage...) was annoying them. Understanding that I had to travel from far away to get my car, they made minimal effort to give me a reasonable pick up time. When pressed on this, I still ended up waiting HOURS to get it back. I was unlucky to have my car break down near here, unfortunately, I didn't really have any other options. I think they clearly knew this and took advantage of this fact. If you can make it further down I-95 I recommend finding a better shop. Otherwise, consider having your car towed to a reputable repair shop. Within 3 days of getting my car back (after over 2 weeks at Butlers), the check engine light was back on, and the error codes were the same. This is $1,700 dollars later mind you... I took the car to a good shop in a larger city. The NAPA insurance paid an additional $700 in repairs which were not done by Butlers completely or correctly. The current mechanics couldn't believe the poor job done by Butlers... PM me if you have any questions or want more details.
