I honestly didn't have to really do anything besides sit down and talk with her; otherwise she took care of everything. I had my dad cremated, and we had a service for him to celebrate his life. The service area is modern, clean and very pretty compared to some of the other places that we went to (they were dark and smelled). She also ordered a locket for me, which have my dad's cremated remains and finger print on it, so that I can take my dad everywhere with me. Throughout the service people were told to make it quick. Does any one have a quick story: in sharing antedotes about the deceased. At the end of the service one grim faced employee stood up and announced that it was the end of the service and you should exit if you've already said your condolences. Wow. Really. The other thing I found disturbing is when you come into the funeral "home" you walk through a hall and past a large room that is set up like a gift shop. The room was full of Urns and Caskets and other various funeral items. How very tasteless.

It is almost like he gets paid by the number of words he uses to explain why he didn't do what he said he would do. All I heard from him is how busy he is and the long hours he works, each time I had to call to follow up, very disappointing, he should have been calling me! Of course, when I called him initially, he sounded caring and concerned even shared how he too lost his brother last year and this has made him a better communicator in working with the deceased family members........NOT TRUE! When he told me, my brother's death certificates would be sent registered mail, they weren't. When I asked to have them resent after waiting 8 days, he complained about the cost and how his nephew had to stand in line at the post office to resend and how much extra money that it was costing...... caring right? After he told me they would be sent registered initially! Now I'm following up on my brother's ashes and once again they were supposed to take two days via the USPS, now he is saying how horrible the postal system is because it has been 7 days! David, you need to take ownership for all the tasks you were supposed to complete as you said you would but didn't. STOP WITH ALL YOUR EXCUSES! You follow up and tell me where the ashes are, that is what I'm paying you for........service! Helping people through bereavement is not his strongest suit! He doesn't know how to work with clients! Sells a great service but NEVER follows up and doesn't want to hear from you if something is lost or he can't find the tracing numbers! The mortuary business I'm working with in California has also left him messages, but he has been too busy to call them back too! How are you still in business?
