I stumbled upon a post they did which was in solidarity with a group of people and seeing that our values were aligned I knew this was a local small business that I needed to be supporting from here on out. I came midweek to shop and look around, and I had a great experience. It's a smaller bookstore, but they did have a lot to choose from! I was especially happy to see that they keep up with new and trending authors/books that come out. But of course, they also had a broad selection of every type of book you could think of. Being a smaller independent bookstore they don't have mass quantity though so if you find a book you like you should grab it because they only have a copy or two of each. I found that the pricing was comparable to anywhere else but again when you shop here you're supporting local small businesses so even if it was a little pricier, it would be worth it to me. They had a cute child's/kids section in the back so it would definitely be a great place to bring your little one to look around or read a story. The vibes are welcoming, but I also appreciate when staff leave you to look around without standing over your shoulder. The gal working behind the register was super nice and checked me out with quickness, that I was in and out without issue. Nice people work here, they have a decent selection and overall it was a cute little shop that I will be back to support again soon.

There is such a huge variety of books to choose from, my go-to's are the thriller/suspense and self-help sections. They also have children's, cooking, young adult, and history sections and even CDs and puzzles! I always find such great books for a steal ranging from $1-$5. Folks are always dropping off donations daily so you'll definitely find something and if not, check again in a week. They only take cash or checks but can place books on hold for a week, if you're like me and often forget to keep cash with you. I would also recommend bringing a bag or tote to carry out all your new goodies if you're an avid reader. I just want to say a huge thank you to the amazing staff and volunteers that work so hard to sort through the donations and keep the shelves rotating and full. - JB *HOT TIP: don't skip past the cart outside, these books are heavily discounted.

REVIEW: Bumping up to 4 starts because for the years and years I have been coming to BN, even before shut down, they are always fully stocked with books and other items. I love it here! I can easily spend 2 hours here perusing the aisles of all the goodness BN carries. (I just recently came for some Harry Potter merch and a planner for next year.) Service is not what it was once was, sadly. But I am old so I remember the good ole' days with fondness. Today, it's basic enough. Thankfully, one doesn't get screamed at across the store of "Welcome!" as it happens in other businesses. Most employees I saw were behind the registers when I was looking around. I did see one employee on the floor, but she was laser focused on something. Prices are on the higher side, thanks to the current state of the economy. However, I feel that the books and other items are of good enough quality to somewhat warrant the $. Be sure to check out upstairs. Also, just a thought, grab a snack or one of the Starb cookies on your way out. It's OK. It's good. It's books. It's BN. :)

While I support shopping at smaller bookstores, B&N has never let me down when I'm in a pinch to grab a book and with great locations like the one here in WLV it's super convenient. This B&N has a Starbucks attached inside which is convenient and definitely keeps people inside. On a hot day like today it was really nice to come inside where the air was clearly running and to have plenty of space that I didn't feel like customers were on top of one another. Definitely a busy store so I prefer to come early on a weekdays during off hours. This store is definitely massive and two stories. I love shopping where because they have such a great selection and every book you could need. They seem to have ample staffing as I've always been able to get help or ask questions which is appreciated. Overall a great B&N location and I'll be back to support.

The last time I came a few months back, there seemed to be ongoing reorganization so I wasn't able to see everything they had to offer. Some services such as the charging station are great to offer especially when games of commander can take up a an hour or more!
