I bring my 4 year old down here and we have an amazing collection of children's books from here. The volunteers here are an amazing group of people, friendly and helpful. You probably aren't necessary going to find anything specific but that's not what you are here for, you are here to dig through books and find hidden treasures. Most books are a dollar or less. I stumbled upon a post they did which was in solidarity with a group of people and seeing that our values were aligned I knew this was a local small business that I needed to be supporting from here on out. I came midweek to shop and look around, and I had a great experience. It's a smaller bookstore, but they did have a lot to choose from! I was especially happy to see that they keep up with new and trending authors/books that come out. But of course, they also had a broad selection of every type of book you could think of. Being a smaller independent bookstore they don't have mass quantity though so if you find a book you like you should grab it because they only have a copy or two of each. I found that the pricing was comparable to anywhere else but again when you shop here you're supporting local small businesses so even if it was a little pricier, it would be worth it to me. They had a cute child's/kids section in the back so it would definitely be a great place to bring your little one to look around or read a story. The vibes are welcoming, but I also appreciate when staff leave you to look around without standing over your shoulder. The gal working behind the register was super nice and checked me out with quickness, that I was in and out without issue. Nice people work here, they have a decent selection and overall it was a cute little shop that I will be back to support again soon.

I was looking for a copy of MC5 "Kick Out the Jams" for over a year, and I found it within 30 seconds of walking in! They may be a bit pricy, but it is worth it to find those gems that you just can't get at other record stores. And the staff has great taste in music, they play obscure stuff and I often discover new artists when I visit. They are knowledgeable and helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for that old school record store vibe... you won't regret it!

I love Sage. When I moved down south and was looking for a job, Sage was my savior. They took me…read morein, gave me a fulfilling position and relished me with wonderful employee benefits. I tried to take advantage of every one. I was employee of the month once. I applied, got accepted, and successfully completed their publishing college where I learned all aspects of publishing. I also took advantage of a program they had where they would pay for any B.A. degree or a Masters in Education or Business. I went to school at night and got my masters in education as well as teaching credential, all paid for by Sage. They even let me move my work schedule around to accommodate when I needed to do my student teaching during the day so I could still give my 40 hours of work as well as complete my school. All while knowing as soon as I was finished, I would be applying for teaching jobs and leaving Sage. The president always said that he wanted to have people working for him who valued education so that is why he offered such a generous program to his employees. It was sad how few people actually took advantage of this program. I never would have been able to do this on my own and I have Sage to thank for it. I also met some incredibly nice people there with whom I am still in touch many, many years later.
