Tuck's services are less than adequate. Lawn cutting is sloppy and grass clippings are not removed…read morefrom lawn when cutting leaving burnout and additional damage to the lawn. Winter cleanup was not completed as to agreed upon cleanup terms, hours worked were inflated and additional non agreed upon charges were incurred. Mulch was quoted for full yard and then multiple trees were not mulched. When we asked him to redo the work he did not do and discuss the hours worked- he threatened legal action for payment. Unfortunately, communication and appropriate billing are not a strong suit. I would guarantee you review multiple times with him what work you want done and do not enter contract for per hour worked.

But I only heard about it b/c I texted them first. I was then lectured in his next text that life happens and emergencies occur. Of course it does. Garrett is about 26 yrs old I think & I am more than 2x his age. Yes, I know life happens. But his job as a professional was to call me or text me immediately when he knew he could not make our agreed-upon appointment today. But he's young so I suggest you give him a chance. I do think he means well & I wish him and his family good luck.

Had 4 treatments done, had to stop it in August. They use the same percentage of fertilizer for everyone - whether you have a manicured lawn in the city or living in the country. Same type of fertilizer whether the lawn is primarily in the shade or in the sun. I live in the country, have a well, so to pump the water requires electricity, furthermore, I have just about an acre, living in michigan is awfully expensive to water my lawn. I have rarely watered my lawn only in certain spots within 25 feet of the house, in the 29 years I've been here. I couldn't give them one star, because in the shaded areas, my lawn looked beautiful, however in the sun soaked no shade areas, so many dead spots, I have NEVER had so many dead spots with any other company fertilizing my lawn. When I put the account on hold, the manager of the location called me and said I have an insect infested lawn. They have a product to fix it, wouldn't you know it. Sales pitch, as if I want to spend any more money for dead spots in my lawn, Nope! First, I had a company come out in April to work in my yard to fix underground guttering so when the workers I had dug up for new pvc piping, it was sand based and they threw the extra sand onto my lawn. So of course Back to Nature assumed it was insect infected. Sounds like technicians are trained to say this regardless. If you have a primary shaded city area, then the fertilizer they use will work. However, if any area has no shade, you're taking a chance. I will not be able to use this company again.
