Have never gotten my app order correct. They don't bother reading details and don't seem to care much when brought to their attention

If you like sticky tables and surly employees you'll love it! Food is good - still the best bread of sub places.

I was looking for lunch in the area and instead of going with a nearby favorite of mine, I decided…read moreto give Crispy and Grill a try. I stopped in and placed a to go order of their six piece legs and thighs with breaded corn for the side. When I saw breaded corn was an option, the first thing my mind went to was breaded corn nuggets. Never once did I think "hey, maybe they mean literal pieces of corn on the cob that are breaded." Boy, that surprised me. The breading kind of fell off the corn as you started eating it, so it was mostly just corn on the cob that was a little mushy compared to corn that isn't fried. I wouldn't get this again. I feel like I got a good amount of chicken based on the price. There were three legs and three thighs in the container and they weren't necessarily small pieces. Unfortunately, neither the breading or the chicken itself were seasoned, so each piece was just plain chicken in plain breading. Not bad, but also something I wouldn't get again.

The food is decent they are now open for breakfast and it's possible since the gas station they are attached to is open 24 hours they may be also! Staff is always friendly and helpful! Decore is happy and bright! It's open and you can go back and forth between the restaurant and gas station freely

Wonderful staff as well. I had the French 75, my friend had the gin Ricky, and we also had some Sauvignon Blanc.... Today mentioned the taquitos were fantastic.?! Upon entering it wasn't too clear where we needed to go. We figured it out eventually but the empty host stand was in no way a clue. Four, five, six staff walked past as we waited. For ten minutes. When seated, service was super slow -- think 45 minutes for our first round of drinks after sitting down. Truthfully I felt bad for the servers. It was clear they had no idea how any of this is supposed to work and/or it was first day on the job for everyone. The menu was ... interesting. Did not expect a full on Mexican selection, which in itself would not have been bad. However the "food person" and the "drink person" need to figure out who they want to be - collaboratively. None of the drinks (gin mostly) went with the food in ANY kind of way. Nothing 'New American' about anything. The bar must have run out of appropriate glassware since all our drinks came in a brandy snifter. The drinks arrived after our food and we were never offered a second round. Food - eh. Unmemorable, but not offensive or disgusting. Again, would have liked a steak with my gin drink -- or maybe a margarita to go with the chippy salsie. One dish was unavailable, but not communicated at the order. We ended up needing to refill our own waters. You get the idea. As far as the space itself - cute. But small. Can't say it was cozy? Always liked the Ambassador, and the bathrooms were a fun distraction from the service. Minus the part where they ran out of (cloth) hand towels. So much potential - with a lot of revisions. Nothing I would want to do again - just like The Rave. We shall call it "The Fritz"

Perfect for a fun drink before a Brewers game or to hang out and watch another game on their many TVs. But 4th Base isn't just a regular sports bar- it's in a league of its own. They serve amazing food- but there's no menu (well there is a small menu if you want it but I digress). They have a case filled with a variety of meats, veggies, seafood, etc (which all look amazing!) and you have the ability to ask for anything- if the chef has the ingredients they will make it for you! Such a cool concept! We ordered: scallops, crab stuffed portobello mushroom, a filet, bacon wrapped asparagus and Oreo cheesecake. It was all excellent! Such a good meal! Highly recommend checking them out!

Some of the worst wine available and cheaper by the bottle than for a glass. Nope. Service was quick and often attentive, but we were not asked how things were. I may have told them the food was cold. Server never said her name and was a bit quiet. It was hard to engage her at times. Fish salad was good. Mixed greens. Decent dressing. Fish was a smidge dry. Fish tacos were good per my friend. Pad Thai was okay. Weeping Tiger was a bit cold and the ribeye was tough, fatty and overcooked. I ordered medium but it was medium well at the least. And I was only given a butter knife. Could barely cut it. I sense it was flank steak rather than an actual ribeye based on the texture and grain of the meat. The sauce that came with it was great. Rice was a bit cold. The tres leches cake was very good. Tiramisu was so so but I'm not a fan in general. Decor is nice. But plastic water cups and cafeteria flatware wrapped in paper napkins felt too casual at dinner. Guess it keeps the price point down. It feels like they could make a few minor changes and bring in a crowd. Maybe flameless candles and bud vases with flowers on the tables. A nicer wine list (the beer list is pretty long!) and some more dinner items would be nice. Many items are more like lunch choices than dinner. We would try it again but would change our orders according to the experience we had. Maybe I'd stick to a sandwich or pasta.
