If it were not for a wedding, I am not sure I would have ever lodged at the Courtyard Middletown. The Hotel offers everything one may need if your goal is to hang out and relax in the Orange County, NY area. Their hotel is located twelve or more minutes from LEGOLAND, which could be one of the several reasons this hotel is priced higher than most courtyards I have lodged near airports. There is also the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, Goshen Ghost Tours, and many other tourist attractions. None of these would interest me. As I stated above, I was in Middletown, Goshen, for one reason only, a wedding. The church and the reception were close by, but unfortunately, we missed the bus transportation to the reception. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The Bistro was perfectly located for fresh coffee the morning after the wedding. Yes, it was Starbucks, their specialty drink at The Bistro.

Pool, hot tub w/jets, view of courtyard surrounded by trees, not rooms. Good solo time!

Peaceful, easy, feels. For over the last 2 decades, Marriott quality has been consistent for me nationwide. I was able to check-in and out via smartphone app and access my virtual room key the same way. Though my room was close to the elevator, it was quiet by 8pm each day. Strong water pressure and instantly hot water make a great shower experience. The bathroom also has plenty of counter space and mirrors. In fact, a full-length mirror on the door helps for getting a closer look. Consistent amenities I appreciate include plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a powerful hairdryer, lotion, makeup remover pad, iron, mini fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker and pods. During my stay, their indoor pool and hot tub were warm, inviting, and empty- yay! Their "courtyard" has lounge chairs and other seating and is surrounded by greenery and trees (not rooms). In the lobby, this location has a "Bistro" with restaurant-quality food, liquor, and cocktails which you can enjoy there, in your room, or elsewhere. I took a Margarita Flatbread Pizza to my room, and while it didn't have basil, it was really good. NOTES/TIPS: **Free and easy parking. Free breakfast. **BYOW- bring your own water for drinking. **8 miles from Legoland. 26 miles from West Point Military Academy.

They have balconies !!! Top floor 4th floor. The only reason for my 4 stars is that I ordered through the Marriott Bonvey app: towels and sheets, and they were never delivered. It's also a pet friendly hotel. Staff not super friendly but they try. It's a few mins drive to Lego land and is in a great location. Next to TGI Friday's and chilis ... Pool is open and there is a bit ton, but not all the water thingys work. Rooms are clean, tidy, but had no soap and other things that we requested but never delivered

I loved my stay here! The front desk staff during both the night and day shifts were extremely friendly and helpful. The lobby area has a bar that's open till 9pm and multiple lounge areas with tables, couches, and high tops, as well as one area with an electronic fire place. They were short on toiletries but there's a Target right across the parking lot if you need anything. Bathrooms were clean, towels solid. The water pressure and temperature was phenomenal, and a chilly night the heat kept me nice and toasty. The bed and pillows were also comfortable, tending towards soft both with good support. I even thought the lighting in the room was nice, very warm and cozy. Microwave, mini fridge, iron, hair dryer all in room. Lots of outlets. They also had an indoor pool which was lovely. The pool itself is not heated, but the room is fairly warm with clean lounge chairs and tables. While they do have a hot tub as well I've been told it does require regular maintenance and isn't always available. Hours are also great, it's open from 6am-11pm. The fitness center is modest but clean, with an elliptical and two treadmills.

The hotel had four weddings going on this weekend- we were attending one - and the staff did a terrific job handling everyone's needs- from gift bags at check-in to snacks, busses, drinks and after-party celebrations. This hotel sports not only the standard Starbucks breakfast and coffee experience, but a full menu for breakfast and a post 5pm menu that looked great if you kept it simple (burgers, pastas, sandwiches). There are two full bars in the large lobby, beer and wine. The room was clean and updated, a bit tight on one side of the bed, with a bright and clean bathroom. All good, would definitely stay again if we needed an area overnight.

I haven't stayed at this location for many years and was very surprised at how much better it looked as soon as I arrived. Clearly, it was renovated recently and it makes a HUGE difference from my previous experiences. Check-in was a little weird...there were 4 people behind the counter and one of them might have been in training. One person started the check in while the other hovered and watched closely...wasn't sure if it was a manager observing or, like I mentioned, a newbie. Anyway, they were all friendly enough but the "hovering" one ultimately gave me my key and told me my room number. Out loud. Sorry - but that's a no-no in the hospitality biz. Sure - say the floor and perhaps point out the elevators and ask if I'm familiar with the other amenities...but there wasn't any of that. Just someone saying my room number for anyone else to hear. Not good. OK - on to the room. I was pleasantly surprised that I was upgraded to a suite - so that was awesome. Again - there were recent upgrades so the room seemed (and was) very clean. Only issue was that the air conditioner in the bedroom was not working properly. I didn't report it but I managed to keep the room cool by using the one in the living room at a "meat locker" setting...and keeping the bedroom door open. Anyway, I'd still stay here again. The new lobby area is very nice and open...just make sure the front desk folks are trained properly.

Came here for a repass reception for me my friend. Upon entering the lobby is very spacious and clean. The reception was held in one of the smaller conference rooms. We had the opportunity to use the back courtyard which has a lovely gazebo along with a fire pit. The hotel appeared clean with social distancing and masks required.

Very nice Marriott alll the workers we friendly and helpful room was very clean. This is the first Courtyard that we have been in that has a full bar and a separate bistro they all should be like this.

Please note I would only use this forum as a last resort. I had no WiFi while at this hotel Jan 8th & 9th of 2018. The first night I entered the room number and name it looked like it was going to work...but I got the message that there is an issue so call front desk (see attached photo) I call and they said they were having issues but they were aware and would call me as soon as it was resolved. I got a call a few minutes later and was told the WiFi had been reset and was now workng. It never worked and I had to use my personal hotspot for service. Months have past and not a response from Marriott or the location. I have switched hotels and no issues. I do find it odd that the location cares so little about the customers they serve.

Rooms were expensive. They were rude, not accommodating. We had 13 rooms. They acted like they could care less.

Checking in was simple and straightforward. Employees are friendly, hard working, professional, helpful, and kind. Our room was wonderful. During the 4 days we were here we always had a parking spot close to the entrance. Customer service: the staff were pleasant and usually greeted us when leaving or arriving. We did have an issue with our mini fridge on our 2nd day. It wasn't cold and we only discovered this when returning to our room late at night. Our options were to switch rooms or store our food in the break room fridge. Of course it was too much of an in to pack up all our things and switch rooms. I wish they could've switched the mini fridge with one that worked. The complimentary breakfast was basic but had decent options (make your own pancakes, eggs, meat such as sausage patty, fruits such as apples, bananas, and cereal and oatmeal. The breakfast area was kept clean. There is also a communal microwave which was also kept clean. I do very much appreciate the hot tea and coffee station that they kept filled. You can tell that its staff take great pride in its appearance and management. This hotel is absolutely SPOTLESS. The room when I walked in smelt great when I arrived, and it was very well maintained. No part of my room was dirty, and it felt like no one had ever been in it before. If you've stayed at a Tru by Hilton, you know what to expect amenities wise. If not, the hotel is a trendy modern decorated hotel (appeals to millennial and Gen Zs but great location for all ages) that has an inviting lobby area with foosball tables, televison, free coffee/tea and tons of comfortable group seating. They dont have a pool (sorry for families with kids), but they do have a small by satisfactory fitness center. Near the fitness center they a water bottle refill station, and the front desk has various items that you could forget before leaving. If you have to go here for business, they have private pods in the lobby with outlet strips under the seat so you can do your work with privacy. Otherwise, you can sit at high top tables with usb/outlet strips to charge while enjoying free breakfast. Free breakfast - The breakfast is free, and the options change EVERY day. Which makes it great for kids and budget travelers like me. This hotel offers some sort of egg choice and a protein (they had kielbasa, sausage links, sausage patties, bacon, and more while I was there). They have an automatic pancake maker and other traditional continental breakfast options to satisfy your appetite. Throughout our stay, we asked for additional needs here and there. Whether it was headphones for my work computer, extra garbage bags, or additional blankets. The staff did not give us a hard time, helped us immediately, and did it with a helpful and positive attitude. Due to our extended stay, we had a lot of trash to dispose of. When I brought it to the lobby, a staff member helped me put it in a bin that would hold it or take it for me. The manager (I believe) or the primary person at the front desk in the mornings was the BEST person I've ever interacted with at a hotel. He was pleasant. He was cheerful. And he remembered things you've talked about prior in regards to personal small talk conversations we had. That personal touch that you don't normally receive from any hotel goes a long way, and it really sets your day on a friendly footing. Forgot anything? This hotel is like 2 mins from EVERY major store and 5 mins from the WallKill mall, which my daughter and I went to. In a post COVID world, the WallKill mall is one of the best I've visited in the New England/NY area. There is also a Walmart and Target nearby, too. This place is an absolute treasure to stay at. The prices were extremely good (not far from LegoLand), and it has everything you need from a hotel. Plus, the staff make you feel like you're visiting your favorite local restaurant or store. Come here if you are looking to enjoy an amazing stay on a budget.
