I am not a fan of hotels with connecting doors. Other than that, this was a perfectly good Courtyard with the usual lobby, the usual room layout, the usual bathroom, the usual TV, the usual Internet (though maybe a bit more hassle than usual) and the usual price. I do like Courtyards because they do not have the free breakfast and therefore are less loaded with kids and shouting and running down the hallways. This Courtyard sits next to a Fairfield and a Residence and probably other Marriott properties.

Beautiful garden outside so you can enjoy and relax in soothing environment!!

Overall courtyard experience is always excellent and this was indeed a great hotel. I stayed in Courtyard Frederick for few nights and was definitely a fan. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The interior and the rooms are quite nice, spacious and clean which gives an impression straight away. They have pool and spa facilities which makes you feel worth it after a hard working day. The decor, furnishings and amenities are quite remarkable, they also have laundry facilities which can be very useful at times. They have a nice sitting area outdoor with a fire fire pit in the middle. Unfortunately, they don't serve breakfast, but they do have a cafeteria in the hotel which serves good food and nice coffees too. There is Westview Promenade just across the street which is a nice place to have dinner and do some shopping so that's a good thing. Nice experience and will definitely be staying here again.

Were doing construction there so was considerable noise and mess. Thought price per night should have been reduced during this period.

I fortuitously stumbled across the Hollerstown Hill B&B and they had exactly one room left: the Queen Anne. Since Frederick is one of our favorite small towns in the general area, with several truly excellent restaurants and always something happening, and because the B&B's location is very central and the pricing reasonable, I went ahead and booked it. And I am so glad that I did! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Betty and Phil. They showed us around the various common area rooms, including a large sitting room, a game room, a dining room, and a the large wrap-around porch. And invited us to use their coffee maker or grab a cold bottle of water, soda, beer or wine from the refrigerator. And then they showed us up to our room. The Queen Anne room is fabulous, with lots of light from the large windows, a King bed, two drawing chairs, an armoire, a sink/dressing area and a separate toilet and shower. Overall I have nothing but amazing feedback on our hosts and our accommodations, but if Victorian decor and dolls aren't your thing or something you'd be amused by -this may not be the place for you. Although in that case, there will be more of Betty's scrumptious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for those of us that enjoy a truly memorable experience!

Their home is over 100 years old and well kept. Their home is a historic Victorian with a lot of collectable decor. It's fun to spend a night or more here for a cozy and personable experience. We had no problem parking out front. They have snacks, beverages, wine, beer, a library, pool table and a porch out front for a nice breeze during weather appropriate months. The home is about half a mile from downtown where there are amazing restaurants and cute shops.

Lots of low end Hilton's and Marriott's (Fairfield, Hampton Inn, etc.). This one is easily the best bang for your buck. Large, spacious, clean rooms. Fantastic gym featuring a cable machine, chin-up bar, free weights, peloton, and treadmills. The breakfast and gym really make this one superior to the others. All it needs is a hot tub and I'd be a very happy traveler. That's what all the Marriotts here lack unfortunately. What they do have is the hot tub, but besides that they are inferior.

Incredible hospitality at SpringHill Suites Frederick!…read more On October 3, 2026, my friends and I had to abruptly leave our previous accommodations in Frederick, Maryland, due to a severe bug infestation. In our frantic rush to rebook at the SpringHill Suites Frederick (https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/wasfk-springhill-suites-frederick/overview/), I accidentally booked a single King room with a trundle--which absolutely would not work for four adult women! Because it was a last-minute booking, the system wouldn't let me modify it, and a phone agent insisted the hotel was completely sold out of double Queen rooms. In complete desperation, I called the property directly and spoke with Markel at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, empathetic, and patient. She asked me to call back in 45 minutes and promised that if a cancellation didn't happen, she would find a creative way to help us out. True to her word, when I called back, she had completely resolved the issue, and a double Queen room was ready for us! When we checked in, both Markel and Carol welcomed us with the warmest hospitality. While the entire staff was great, these two incredible ladies turned what could have been a ruined trip into a flawless, fun girls' weekend. Their level of service goes above and beyond, and they truly deserve corporate recognition!

I'm currently staying at this inn. I purchased my room via Priceline & decided upon staying here…read morebased on the pictures online. It looked pretty decent and it was affordable. Upon first glance, the inn on the outside does not give luxury, let's just start there. It's definitely renovated, which is cool, but don't expect it to be an extravagantly amazing place. It gave a bit of a motel vibe. I'm not fond of motels, but I still wanted to be optimistic about everything. If you're hungry, don't worry about finding a place to eat. This place of stay is surrounded by restaurants that were all walking distance. I arrived here a little before 10pm, and it was rather difficult to find parking in the front of the building, which I honestly suggest you try your best to do. I circled the building at least twice, trying to find a decent spot. I THOUGHT I found a good spot towards the entry point of the inn. I parked and started to get out only to find broken glass EVERYWHERE! Definitely looked like someone's car was broken into very recently. I immediately got into my car and parked in another spot. Once inside, I was greeted by a member of the front desk staff. She was pretty nice and polite. She took my ID, card and asked for my car description (which I'm not used to people asking about my car, but I figured it was for security purposes). I asked if there were any rooms on the second level and the clerk said there were. She handed me my key card and I headed towards upstairs. Found my room and went in. It was a standard room, nothing super fancy. I have a refrigerator and a microwave. The television has standard cable channels, so no logging in to your Netflix or Hulu here, unless you bring your own laptop or watch from your phone. There's a wall air conditioner, which I'm not a huge fan of, if you are a person that gets hot often, this option is available. The bed was a nice king sized bed. Firm and clean. As I lay here, I can tell you that it is quite comfortable. I thought there was only a sheet on the bed and immediately regretted not packing my travel blanket. But once I pulled the sheet back, I realized that it was a weighted type of sheet. Although I do appreciate the clean sheets and pillows, everything smells like bleach. Heavily. It's a bit overwhelming, to be honest. But hey, it's clean! The bathroom is okay & the sink has a few upgrades. The tub could definitely use some renovation. It's just old. The tub material is that hard plastic that yellows over time. The shower head needs caulking around the base. I did like that they provided soap, shampoo and lotion, that's a plus. The biggest con of this place is the NOISE! This place is just not for light sleepers at all- and I'm not even a light sleeper! I can hear EVERY stomp and door slam. The doors slammed throughout the night, and it woke me up a few times. The walls aren't the thickest. The refrigerator has a quiet buzzing sound, so if you're sensitive to that, just be aware. It also occasionally made a loud noise (maybe coming from the freezer part, I'm honestly not sure). Also, when I was running the hot water while freshening up, the pipes behind the shower made a loud thunking noise. It was odd, but stopped after about five or ten minutes. All in all, this is a place to stay for the night, not for leisure, not for pleasure- for one night! It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best. Would I stay here again? Probably not, but I do recommend it if you need a quick place to lay your head. 2.7 stars for the convenience.

Walking through the hallway and as soon as we opened our door to our room, there was a musty smell that stayed throughout our 2 night stay. The carpet had a weird feel on my feet, a dampness maybe from condensation from the air conditioner? I ended up putting a towel on the carpet so I wouldn't have to walk on it. When we got home, we had to wash all of our clothes, which had that same musty smell. The room had a sofa and desk, along with a fridge, small microwave, free WiFi and tv. The bed was comfy but had small pillows. Tiny bathroom with small tub/shower and toilet. Toilet paper was to the left of toilet, which made it awkward reaching for it behind you. The toilet seat was on crooked as well. The sink is outside of bathroom. The shampoo/conditioner is tiny sized and hard to get anything out. They only put 1 of each? Rooms could definitely use a revamp. Breakfast offerings were typical for a Best Western. Scrambled eggs and sausage patties were okay. This was my first time seeing a bunch of staff grabbing breakfast as well around 8:30am, which is when most guests are coming down for breakfast. Front desk did not have the usual 2 bottles of water at check in. They said they ran out.
