    Four dollar bottle of water

Courtyard being one of Marriott's sister companies is not a place I would pick if coming to Boone one it's overpriced two no coffee in the lobby but a Starbucks if you want to pay the price three the Internet system stinks, you're supposed to get cinema Max, which is very hard to get a program to work the only reason we stayed is because we get a free night on our Marriott Bonvoy card when My Brother is staying at a local resort which has free breakfast ,free coffee, better amenities ,all around and at a cheaper price if I did not stay here for free, I would've paid to say the other hotel ,and been happier also, a bottle of water cost you four dollars they must mistake it's gold. i'm very disappointed with this courtyard by Marriott

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful (providing recommendations)! The rooms were clean and everything was in its place. I absolutely love their lobby...loved the decor and vibes. There's also a little mini convenience by the check-in area. They have a great bar with some food options. The gym was the size of your average hotel gym, but had a great variety of equipment. Lastly, the hotel has a great location with many things within walking distance.

Absolutely gorgeous Courtyard. The staff was so welcoming and professional. It is very easy to find as It's just off the main drag. There is a nice bistro with good food located in the lobby like most. There are also plenty of great little places close by to try. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. It is located very close to all the local attractions, grandfather Mountain, Blowing rock and App State. I will definitely stay here again. The views are gorgeous and when checking out they greeted me by name which is always a nice touch. I can't wait to be back in the area and enjoy the hospitality they have to offer.

While passing through Boone, North Carolina, we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. I must say this is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in quite a while. Right off the bat, the service was wonderful. She offered us a map of the town and made sure we had everything we needed before heading to our room. The amenities in the lobby included snacks for purchase, a Starbucks, Hertz car rental station, and quick print station. There was also a large fitness center and indoor pool. The room felt enormous due to the high ceilings and layout. The bathroom was in perfect condition with a shower that reached that perfect temperature. We stored our leftover food in the mini fridge. The pillows and mattresses were very comfortable. The large windows had the option of shear or blackout curtains (just in case you want natural light to filter in or complete darkness). The television was equipped for streaming, so all we had to do was login to Netflix and continue where we left off with our television shows. The hotel was conveniently located just a few minutes from downtown and some fantastic restaurants & breweries. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Boone!

The bathroom was a big plus having two sinks and dual shower heads made getting everyone ready far less hectic. The fireplace was a nice bonus and gave the room a warm, comfortable feel. Beds were solid and we all slept well. Storage was the main drawback. There isn't much hanging space and no dresser drawers, which made unpacking harder than it needed to be. A few more hooks or coat racks, especially near the entry, would go a long way for families. Breakfast is included and fairly standard continental fare, with service ending around 9-9:30am. The TV setup included regular cable and streaming access, which was convenient in the evenings. The location is one of the biggest advantages walkable to grocery stores and restaurants, close to Tweetsie Christmas, and only minutes from Memorial Park, which leads into a very walkable downtown area with plenty of dining and shopping options. All in all, a reliable, comfortable choice for families looking for a convenient place to stay in Boone.

The large bathroom was a standout, with double sinks and two shower heads, which made mornings much easier. The electric fireplace added a cozy touch, and the beds were comfortable. Downside: the room could use more hooks and hanging space. There are no dresser drawers. Additional rods would make the space more functional, especially coat hooks in the mudroom-style entry. Breakfast is free continental style, served until about 9-9:30 am. The room had basic cable plus streaming options. Online it says the hotel is still under construction. We didn't notice any construction during our stay. The location is convenient, right across the street from grocery stores and restaurants, close to Tweetsie Christmas, and just down the road from Memorial Park, which connects to a charming, walkable town full of restaurants and shops. Overall, a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly hotel in a very convenient Boone location.

The next day I get an email with an additional $80 charge. I called the location to see why I was charged a "Pet Cleaning Fee" on this itemized receipt. She asked if I had a pet with me, to which I had responded I did. She said that they were a newly pet friendly hotel and that is their charge for the pet. I explained that I had booked on my app and nowhere did I see an $80 charge for the stay. I would never had stayed there for that fee. In fact, I've never seen anything over $50 for a pet stay. While talking to the woman on the phone, she cuts me off and says, had we known you had a dog we would have greeted your dog and given her a treat. Well, the front desk personnel must've been particularly blind since she acknowledged us walking through the lobby with our bags and my seven year old black lab, walking on her own four feet. I will not be going back, and I will be advising all wedding guests to book literally anywhere else for their stay. The room with taxes was $100 for me to stay. Add my dog for $80 and it was almost double the cost. I could literally board her for several days for that price! I don't know why I bothered to have my dog stay on her own blanket to avoid having hair in the hotel room. Had I known, I would've had my dog stay with me in bed where she is most comfortable.

We called the day before we arrived to ask about the possibility of having an indoor pool as I need water therapy for my back. I require water therapy daily. We were assured that they had a large indoor heated pool. We drove five hours to get to the hotel, and we were shocked to find that the pool was closed for maintenance. I can't believe that we were not told when we called and spoke to a representative of the hotel. When we went to the lobby to get some tea, we were told that they didn't have any. No apology was given. I don't drink coffee. I then figured that I could have some hot water with a creamer, but guess what, no hot water. I asked if I could have a bottle of milk and was told no. This is not a motel 6. It would be wonderful to find the nice caring staff that other people were talking about. And as usual there was no manager on duty. This hotel is a joke.

There's a spot where it is cracked open about four inches. The paint job should have been the whole ceiling and the patches. The switch on the hairdryer was broken. I asked the next day to have it repaired and was told they just got a shipment in, well no one replaced. The breakfast area has no space after the pancake machine to put a plate down. Funny watching people start the machine reach to get something else and there goes the pancake on the floor. You can't make this stuff up. Only two choices of meat, ham and turkey sausage neither of which I care for. The poor gal was running crazy trying to keep the place stocked. No Ethernet in the room only wi-if. What a pain as my wife's Fire wouldn't connect because the date and time were off too much. You can't set it manually so I found a way to connect to my MacBook once I could get to an Ethernet port. Fixed the problem in seconds and then she logged on to their wi-fi. Who designed the page to reject you if you if the date and time are off, really! I can say that I will not stay at this Holiday Inn again. PS coming back to the room tonight a woman was yelling at the manager as she had no towels, the maids don't speak English and when they dropped something on the floor she happen to look under the bed. Found someone else's sock and other stuff. So you get the idea. The place needs a major cleaning, painting and new wallpaper too.
