    Four dollar bottle of water
    David T.

Courtyard being one of Marriott's sister companies is not a place I would pick if coming to Boone one it's overpriced two no coffee in the lobby but a Starbucks if you want to pay the price three the Internet system stinks, you're supposed to get cinema Max, which is very hard to get a program to work the only reason we stayed is because we get a free night on our Marriott Bonvoy card when My Brother is staying at a local resort which has free breakfast ,free coffee, better amenities ,all around and at a cheaper price if I did not stay here for free, I would've paid to say the other hotel ,and been happier also, a bottle of water cost you four dollars they must mistake it's gold. i'm very disappointed with this courtyard by Marriott

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful (providing recommendations)! The rooms were clean and everything was in its place. I absolutely love their lobby...loved the decor and vibes. There's also a little mini convenience by the check-in area. They have a great bar with some food options. The gym was the size of your average hotel gym, but had a great variety of equipment. Lastly, the hotel has a great location with many things within walking distance.

Absolutely gorgeous Courtyard. The staff was so welcoming and professional. It is very easy to find as It's just off the main drag. There is a nice bistro with good food located in the lobby like most. There are also plenty of great little places close by to try. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. It is located very close to all the local attractions, grandfather Mountain, Blowing rock and App State. I will definitely stay here again. The views are gorgeous and when checking out they greeted me by name which is always a nice touch. I can't wait to be back in the area and enjoy the hospitality they have to offer.

While passing through Boone, North Carolina, we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. I must say this is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in quite a while. Right off the bat, the service was wonderful. She offered us a map of the town and made sure we had everything we needed before heading to our room. The amenities in the lobby included snacks for purchase, a Starbucks, Hertz car rental station, and quick print station. There was also a large fitness center and indoor pool. The room felt enormous due to the high ceilings and layout. The bathroom was in perfect condition with a shower that reached that perfect temperature. We stored our leftover food in the mini fridge. The pillows and mattresses were very comfortable. The large windows had the option of shear or blackout curtains (just in case you want natural light to filter in or complete darkness). The television was equipped for streaming, so all we had to do was login to Netflix and continue where we left off with our television shows. The hotel was conveniently located just a few minutes from downtown and some fantastic restaurants & breweries. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Boone!

Touchscreen with all the features to help you out!! Love it!

The room walls are thin so we heard a lot of noise from the outside waking us up early in the morning. You also have to pay for parking at 25 a night but there was a lot of construction making it difficult to get our car out. I know not the hotels fault but definitely keep that in mind. They had really nice robes. They also had a sound machine in the room. We had a thing on the wall that would randomly flash at night and beep. We had issues with the bathroom. The door would not close all the way and We could not get hot water when we tried to shower late at night. We had to go to the front desk and they had to call maintenence which took a bit to work through the issue. Eventually they got the hot water back but an annoying time waster. They discount our stay at 10% for the issue. The breakfast was really nice full of local pastries. The staff was so nice and friendly. The lobby area and bar was super nice and had a cute vibe. The roof top is super pretty at nice with nice fire pits. The staff was super friendly. I would have rated a 4 star but the price was high plus the issues we had knocked it down a star.

Our favorite part was the location. It was so conveniently located. They have a front door with access to king street and a back door to Howard street which was convenient. We were able to come and go easily. The rooms aren't huge but had everything we needed including a mini fridge and the shower was really nice. Of note- it didn't have a huge window in the room, just a small one towards the ceiling. There was a tv with lots of channels and a channel guide. We received some coupons and recommendations to nearby businesses which was a nice touch. Our experience was a bit different because it was very snowy so we couldn't enjoy the rooftop bar. The parking was also tricky- they have a loading zone right in front for checking in, but we circled the block several times and it was taken every time so it was kind of a pain to unload our car. We also had trouble finding the parking lot (even with the address, directions and map) which is behind the hotel, across the street and diagonal from the hotel. We had to circle a few times to find it. But that may have just been because it was dark and snowing. Our favorite part was definitely the breakfast. It is at the downstairs bar. It is complementary when you purchase the parking pass, and you order what you want from a menu. They have lots of options, including fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, and lots of pastries and baked goods from stick boy bakery in town. We love stick boy so this was amazing! So high quality and tasty! They also have other things available for purchase like avocado toast. They also have coffee from a local coffee shop available all day. We would go back!!!

I would define it as "Sophisticated Simplicity". I was staying here for a personal getaway and was assigned to a beautiful room with a separate sitting room, a gorgeous bathroom, and a zen bedroom. The decor was lovely, stylish and tasteful. The staff was professional and helpful. It was quiet and relaxing and only a short walk away from the town center, perfect location! There is a pretty little creek that winds along the back garden area, I really enjoyed sitting out and watching the ducks. The staff is immeasurably kind, the other folks staying in the house and cottages around you cannot help but share in this kindness. It's like going to a family reunion while also having peace and space to yourself. The rooms are the definition of comfort - and yes, tv's are nowhere to be found. It's a freeing feeling where you can just focus on those around you. Small radios are in each room and old radio stories on cd are available for your enjoyment during your stay. There's large clawfoot tubs large enough for two, and each item is delicately chosen to stay within the realm of an old farmhouse from long ago. There are treats and coffee available at all hours of the day and night, a delicious breakfast that is 2nd to none, and a social every day with meats, vegetables, and cheeses that is unlike anything you've had before. We decided to enjoy ours on the front porch in rocking chairs and I must say that it was one of the most enjoyable parts of the whole stay! The town around the Inn is stunningly charming. It feels like one should be walking or taking a wagon from the Inn, rather than driving, to the General Store or to Over Yonder restaurant which is just a short distance from the Inn. Management, Please know that we have chosen to depart early from the Cousin Sarah suite. While we appreciate historical sites and consider ourselves history buffs, this suite is unacceptable. I have attached a few photos of areas needing attention but the most notable was the bed. My husband and I could not stay another night on this mattress. It has no center support and we kept rolling towards the center all night. Additionally it is too soft. Perhaps firmness is of personal preference, however, it truly is past its useful life. It felt as if there was a piece of foam laid over the mattress in order to extend its life. In regard to the photos, a deep cleaning is in order, attention to detail as well as fresh paint and we would happily pay more in order to stay at such a North Carolina landmark. We appreciate your understanding and wish you and your business all the best.

The road to the complex is extremely narrow that makes me question if an emergency vehicle or fire truck could navigate it. In addition to it being narrow, it is a windy road on a cliff with no guard rails. I had a panic attack on the drive up; thankfully, I wasn't the driver. When we turned to road with the gated entrance, it was gravel, overgrown, and we couldn't even see past the gate. And this was at 5:30pm with full daylight. I was so panicked that my husband thought I was going to have a heart attack. We immediately turned around & made our way back down the horrid road, riding the brake the entire time & with a vehicle right on our bumper who apparently wasn't as upset as we were. Thank goodness no vehicle came in the opposite direction. I do feel there should have been some hint as to this "feature" of the facility. If I had known of this, there is no way I would have chosen this place for our well-deserved restful weekend. We ended up going back home & lost our money.
