The work he completed on our pool deck was left dangerously slippery causing me a concussion and bruises after I slipped and fell. He told me pool epoxy was slippery and there was nothing he could do although other companies said yes there is non-slip epoxy for pool decks. @Stateofflorida To many other major issues to list. He did fix a few of the damages caused by his employees but only when we really pushed and then he was extremely rude when we pointed out all the damages. Hurricane Milton left me with part of my patio enclosure destroyed. I contacted Curtesy Screening through their website to schedule an estimate. They contacted me on the same day. The time it took from estimate to a repair date and completion was very fast (within two weeks) when you consider how many people may have suffered similar damage or more. Be careful with what you contract for here- I specifically needed the frame and screen on two sides replaced along with the door wall. I don't know the lingo so apparently 'wall' meant the screen and not the screen AND the frame. It took a few times to get them out but they showed up, did the work, left without reviewing the work with me prior to leaving, and only replaced the screens on two sides instead of the screens and the frames like I had originally wanted. Then when I called to ask, the person who answered the phone was rude, hung up on me, and then proceeded to tell me that I got what I paid for. Rudy is not only rude, he's unwilling to correct issues with his work. I'm elderly and a disabled Army veteran. I hired Courtesy Screening to put pavers around my pool because they seemed like a legit company. They had pallets of bricks dropped off in the middle of the driveway. They came and completed the job, but there were a number of issues. They said someone would come to clean my pool, but my pool was never thoroughly cleaned. My garage door doesn't open completely, which Rudy said wasn't his problem. When it rains, water now leaks into my house, which Rudy said isn't his problem either. There were two pallets of bricks left in my driveway from the job after I paid everything. Rudy said those were his. These guys came and measured twice, so I don't get how they over-ordered by two pallets! I'm sure those were paid for by me. Rudy said someone was going to pick up the bricks but a month later, they were still in the middle of my driveway so I had them moved to the side of the house. A few days later, without my knowledge, Rudy said someone came to get the bricks but because they weren't on the pallet they wouldn't take them. He told me he was going to sue me and put a lien on my house. Then he invoiced me for $750 for no reason! My son called him to try and clear this up because I don't know what to do. My son explained I'm a disabled Army veteran and that he shouldn't invoice me for $750. Rudy lied and said I told the truck that they couldn't pick up the bricks and reiterated that he would sue me and take me to court. This guy is the worst kind of person. Taking advantage of people and using scare tactics. I paid over $17k to this guy and he keeps harassing me and won't fix anything!! Please DO NOT use this company. read more

I hired this quick witted kid to remove and replace my 5"Super Gutter and RE-screen the areas needed. The gutter looked terrible, crooked, metal shavings all over the place around and in the pool. Took me forever to get them out of my new rug! He cut my drip edge and ran screws into my facial board exposing raw wood! When he caulked it was like a blind man did the job! The screen job was just as bad! He just rolled it over and half A.. stretched it across the top! My screen whistles and waves in the wind! I had to hire another company to remove and replace his entire job! I called multiple contractors to quote the job and they all gasped when they seen the work he did! I STILL WANT MY DEPOSIT BACK!! I hired Rudy to come out for estimate to screen in front porch. He required 1k deposit. and I had to get the permit notarized. He came out to get the contract paperwork and measure. a week or so later he contacted me stating the my HOA wont allow the front porch to be screened. He refunded me 189 dollars of my one thousand stating it was the work he put into it. Very passive/aggressive guy. I called for a quote, Rudy came over (one man show) a week later and gave me a quote to build an outside patio screened in cage. Was very nice. I called him a week later to book him, he provided instructions and asked me to email the HOA forms etc. I did everything I was asked to do. Then - NOTHING - NO RESPONSE. I followed up with email, text messages - nothing. I called - NO RESPONSE. When I finally got him on the phone, his tone changed and was VERY RUDE. He told me he was on vacation. I said OK, no problem, I gave him 2 more weeks, then still - NO RESPONSE TO TEXT OR EMAIL. This guy just GHOSTED me. I called again, told him I was following up, he just hung up the phone on me. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that we didnt get disconnected, I called again, he hung up again. very very UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. Now I have a project that is 6 weeks behind and in limbo as I had turned down other quotes to go with him. Courtesy Screening and Mr. Rudy W (Owner) are indeed the best outdoor screening company that I've had replace my Pool enclosure screens. I had the entire screen replaced on my Pool enclosure back in March of 2022 with the No-See-Em Screens and it has kept all bugs and lizards out of the Pool area, I can now open my French doors leading to the pool and not have to worry about unwanted crawly critters going in my home, Rudy's staff are very professional, and they know what they are doing. The screens they use are Top Notched and still look brand new after being exposed to the Florida elements and the recent Two Hurricanes (9 months later). I just returned from a deployment Saturday 11-12-22 and since I was not in Town for Hurricane Ian or Nichole, the first thing I did was a walk around the property and noticed that the rubber keeping the screen attached to the cage on 3 sections were coming partially off, and I know there was enough winds because the winds shredded both my U.S. and Florida Flags. I called up Rudy and he told me he would take care of it Today, Monday 11-14-2022 and he did just that, again punctual and professional and very reasonable with his prices.
